Our group loved spending the whole day with Noemi! Right out of the gate, as soon as I made my booking, she was a fabulous communicator. She arranged everything! She hired a FANTASTIC driver, and made sure to accommodate every single whim and wish on our list. We traveled the Amalfi coast, stopping along the way for food and shopping. She made us feel like family, taking care of everyone’s needs and preferences. We had THE MOST AMAZING lunch, right along the side of the road, not a restaurant, simply a shop, she did all of the ordering and we had the best, most authentic meal! We were delighted. And then, we reached Pompeii; this is where Noemi SHINES. She knows everything about Pompeii, not only does she know how to navigate and narrate it perfectly, but she has developed an internal treasure hunt, and little games along the way keeping you fully engaged and in the spirit of exploration. We liked our tour of Pompei a lot. Our group ranged from 11 yrs old to 73 yrs old and Noemi picked the best places for us to see with grace and flexibility. Mariagrazia was a perfect guide for the day. She met us at our hotel in Naples and worked with us on the agenda for the day. We did not have any "must do" for the day but were able to describe our idea of a "good day" and she did the rest. The whole day was amazing. Mariagrazia was full of information about the region. She navigated the roads, stops, and restaurant for us. I really only have glowing things to say about the experience. She was also very gracious with our two young daughters that wanted some beach time and to do some singing in the car. Noemi was amazing from the time we booked our experience. She was helpful finding tickets to the site and the right train and shuttle to get there. She was very easy to communicate with in English. Once we arrived, Noemi greeted our 3 boys (ages 6,9,11) with love. They had a great time with the scavenger hunt she setup and learned a ton during the day from all of her engaging stories. My wife and I could not have given them an experience anywhere close to what she gave them. Pompei was incredible and I know it was a much more meaningful experience with her there to guide us. Noemi could not have been more lovely and charming - she made all of us ( my wife and I and three 13 year olds) feel welcome and engaged on our journey through Pompeii. The weather was cloudy and a bit rainy but Noemi was a ray of sunshine. She shared her knowledge, her personal stories, made us laugh and sing - literally! And she navigated our moody teens with kindness and compassion. We learned so much about the daily life of the Pompeiians as well as their tragic demise. It is a truly remarkable archeological site - mind blowing really. So glad we got to share this with Noemi! Noemi is a gem!

Mariagrazia was very nice, but she was more a driver than a tour guide. This is what the itinerary said what was in store for us: Check out from viewpoints, nature, and cultural gems such as Villa Oplonti, Positano and Amalfi plus other stops your local host has prepared for you along the way. Unfortunately, the description did not match the actual tour. We had three stops and got back to Naples 45 minutes before the tour was to end. Stop 1 was to try fresh mozzarella and cheese. Loved this! Our next stop was Positano but it seemed like she really didn't want to be go there and she stayed in the car for the hour that we explored the seaside town. Then it was off to Amalfi where we ate lunch at her cousin's restaurant that has an incredible water view. It also was the most expensive restaurant we ate at during our entire trip. After our lunch we were told we could explore the town for an hour. Our tour guide stayed behind in the restaurant and we went out again on our own without a guide. Since we had paid for a tour guide, we did not research what to do in the towns because that is what a tour guide is for, right? We never visited Villa oplonti and the description of the tour states that tickets for Villa Oplontis are included. Just OK

Six of us joined Noemi for a wonderful and educational tour of Pompeii. The kids (9 and 11) were so engaged with Noemi’s map and riddles, with our daughter saying it was her favorite tour in the last week! We had a great day. We didn’t have any previous ideas of what to see other than watching a TV show about the area. Mariagrazia knew the show and took us to places better than the show. She showed us Her Amalfi coast. Every where we went we got special treatment because we were with Mariagrazia. From flexible restaurant reservations to preferred water taxi’s. I highly recommend. We had a great time with Mariagrazia. Her communication was great prior to our day with her. She was also able to adjust the pickup spot to make it easier for us. While on our trip, she was awesome at pointing out history and local points of interest. She took us to a cheese factory and we were able to see mozzarella being made and we even were able to try the cheese right from the production line. You can’t get any fresher than that! She also took us to try some local sweets that were amazing. I could go on and on as we experienced much more than what I have noted, however, I wanted to at least call the places that we would have never experienced if we were a part of a big tour group. It was fun because she engaged all of us and had some fun conversations with our kids and our youngest about video games. This was our third time using With Locals and it did not disappoint. It is so much better as Mariagrazia didn’t take the “normal” tourist route which would have added a lot of driving time and less time experiencing the local culture. We cannot recommend her enough as we had a great day with her! Fun experience seeing the Amalfi coast

Noemi was so lovely, the train was raining late and we were stressed about missing the tour and she was waiting for us at the station ready to go all smiles. My kids were so happy in her explanation of Pompei’s history as she used terms they could understand and she kept them entertain the entire time. The kids felt comfortable to ask questions and loved the treasure hunt, with prizes at the end as well! We had a wonderful and relaxing day with Mariagrazia as she drove us to see the towns along the Amalfi Coast. We met up with her at the Central Naples train station and then headed to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi where we wandered a bit I. Town and enjoyed a delicious seaside lunch and Ravello, where we toured the Villa Rufala which to me was the most beautiful location. She gave us lots of information along the way about the culture, the history, the sea and land, the food, seems like everyone knew her everywhere we stopped as well, which was fun. Heading back we stopped in the side of the road for the best lemon ice I’ve ever had. And she helped my husband find the sunglasses he was hoping to buy while in Italy nearby, too. We had such a lovely tour of Pompeii with Noemi. She kept our girls 11, 13 & 13 engaged—answering and asking questions the entire time. She has such a passion for, not just showing people Pompeii, but letting them experience it. Pompeii itself is incredible! It’s sad, but just mind-blowing that things from so long ago are so well preserved for us to see. I highly, highly recommend this tour! Worth every penny of your money and every moment of your time. Noemi went above and beyond for our family—helping us navigate a bus back to the train station, and then places to eat in Naples, and she did is with such joy—she loves her community and helping tourists to appreciate all that her city has to offer. Noemi was like a whirlwind when we met up. She was very friendly and her English was very good. The Ice Breaker was getting me to traverse the Piazza del Plebiscito Blindfolded, as prisoners were reputed to have attempted in order to gain their freedom. (I nearly made it). Noemi was so passionate about her city, and described how it came to be as it is now, from the earliest formative volcanos, to the socio political struggles through the ages. She really brought the place to life. The "Shrine" to Maradona was a surprise, as was the varied graffiti art around the Spanish Quarter. We loved the 'Nini, Toto, Peppi" Story. Hilarious!! The Naples equivalent to "Morecambe and Wise" we think. She rounded off the tour at the most amazing Pizza restaurant "Vincenzo Capuano", where you were given golden Scissors to cut into your Pizza. We have come away with a desire to return and explore more of Noemi's city. Grazie mille, mio ​​appassionato amico. Speriamo di rivederti.Naples with a Passion!

We did a treasure hunt in Pompeii with Noemi and my 11 year old loved it. She keeps saying what a lovely person Noemi is as she truly is. The treasure hunt in Pompeii takes 3 hours and I was worried it might be too long but actually with all those interesting stories and lots to see we’d easily listen to Noemi for another hour. Time really flies. I would recommend Noemi and the treasure hunt tour to any family with younger children. Even the adults have lots of fun! Noemi is just great! Mariagrazia was absolutely amazing. My husband and I had about Amalfi but Mariagrazia showed us Amalfi Coast. She was so knowledgeable about the area. We let her guide us and what time it was. We tasted fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheese😻 Fresh figs. Toured a beautiful grotto. Had the most delicious lemon slush. Lunch was FANTASTIC!!! We let her choose and it was the best meal!! We also learned a lot of Italian. Mariagrazia is the best you could ask for in a tour guide. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Best day ever!!

Noemi was, in a word, perfection. She went above and beyond, helping coordinate a taxi for our large and complicated group, requesting different drop offs at different times. She even met us in Napoli Centrale to assist with our transfer! Noemi was absolutely wonderful with the children in our group, helping them appreciate the site in a way that was really appreciated by us all. Noemi arranged a tour of Pompeii for our group of 8. She met us at the cruise port in Naples and had transportation for us to and from Pompeii. We had the BEST day. My family consists of my husband, myself, and our three daughters ( ages 9, 11, and 13 ). We booked a private tour with Noemi to see Pompeii and Herculaneum. I cannot convey in this short review what a wonderful tour guide and overall wonderful person Noemi is. Prior to even arriving to Italy, Noemi took the time to communicate with us through the withlocals app and ensure everything we needed was set up in advance. We traveled from Rome to Naples via train and Noemi met us at the train station and had a large taxi waiting for us to use as our transportation throughout the day. Noemi was incredibly knowledgeable and informative about the sites. She was funny and brought candy for the kids to snack on and bracelets for souvenirs. My youngest was very hot as we were visiting in summer and Noemi was so attentive and loving with her. We had a great time and that is 100% thanks to Noemi. The treasure hunt in Pompeii with Neomi was a great experience and idea. Pompeii is a very interesting place but sometimes for the kids Is a little heavy. Noemi waited for us after our arrival time was delayed due to a train strike. Noemi then spent over 2 hours showing us around Pompeii. Explaining the history of the place in general and then the life & times of people in Pompeii. Each room or area we visited were explained clearly. We had teenagers with us (13 and 14) and the information entertained them as well. Noemi took care of us in the hot and humid conditions. In addition she gave us tips on places to eat and food to try whilst in Naples. A fantastic morning. Amazing guide. Pompeii met and exceeded all our expectations. We had a wonderful day trip with Mariagrazia. She was so attentive to our 7 year old, he absolutely loved her. One of the highlights was a fantastic pizza and seafood lunch where we played Uno, all trying to win a round! We knew in advance some of the places we wanted to visit but she also had some ideas that we wouldn’t have known about and expertly drove us between stops, ensuring that we saw everything without ever being rushed. Mariagrazia was terrific. She picked four of us (two couples) up in Sorrento and took us on a tour of the Amalfi coast. She was very knowledgeable and very charming. Stopping along the route she would pull over and let us take breathtaking photos. Also stopped at a little fruit vendor where we had fresh squeezed orange juice and bought some fruit. We stopped at a very nice ceramic shop and next door took a quick side venture to the Green Grotto - very cool. Our other stops were in Positano and Amalfi. In Amalfi she joined us for lunch at her favorite restaurant where everyone knew her and we had a very nice lunch. Afterwards, we were taken back to the kitchen after the meal to pose for pictures with the chef and crew. Then time to wander around Amalfi. We were running low on time due to our schedule and a later start, so we had to miss Ravello (next time!). But we did stop in another great seaside town on the way back. Mariagrazia was the perfect host and great driver, we felt very confident with her behind the wheel as the traffic on the Amalfi coast is crazy. Highly recommend Mariagrazi and With Locals. A wonderful day with a wonderful driver

Our party of four adults (mom, dad, and 2 college students) had a great time with Mariagrazia on our driving tour of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. She took us to the best photo sites, places to eat/snack, shopping, and local attractions. We also skipped the crowds and dined at her cousin’s seaside restaurant in Amalfi, but there was absolutely no pressure to dine there—all itinerary decisions were made by us guests. Our family spent the morning with Noemi touring Pompeii. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience and Noemi. Our three girls ages 5,7,10 cannot stop talking about her. She is one of the kindest humans I have ever met and I wish we could tour all of Italy with her. She went out of her way to make our time with her extra special. Her knowledge of Pompeii is extensive and she provided my husband and I with so many interesting facts while keeping the girls entertained with riddles and scavenger hunts. She even met up with us in Naples later in the day to give a small gift to my oldest daughter as they both love to make bracelets. Noemi is truly excellent and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. Absolutely amazing

My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a tour of the Amalfi Coast with Mariagrazia. She was a fantastic guide that went above and beyond to provide us with a unique experience tailored you our specific requests, including a surprise stop along the way in her hometown where we were able to sample and purchase some delicious local cheese. On top of that, we were able to taste some amazing grilled artichokes being sold on the street, which was a real treat. Throughout the day, we stopped at various local shops and were able to enjoy a fantastic lunch right on the ocean. As if all of this wasn't enough, Mariagrazia even took us on a short tour of Napoli before saying our goodbyes. Overall, the tour was absolutely wonderful, and our guide was incredibly fun, knowledgeable and an absolute delight. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking to explore the Amalfi Coast and experience some of the local culture and cuisine. Thank you for an unforgettable experience! Noemi was such a warm and kind person that I would take a tour anywhere with her! The two hour Pompeii tour was fascinating and flew by. Her scavenger hunt for kids was excellent - even I wanted to play. Noemi treated us like longtime friends
