Nino was a fantastic guide and gave a dollop of history and a full serving of food. He took us to several places that we wouldn't have found on our own and, as another reviewer said, took us to a place with the easily best mozzarella we've ever had. We also learned a lot about Neapolitan cuisine. I can't recommend it highly enough; you'll really enjoy your time walking, talking, and eating with Nino as your guide!The best food tour we've ever been on!

Where do I start? Nino was an amazing tour guide. We picked him because in his bio he said he was a foodie and boy did he deliver. Naples was a busy city with tons of places to eat. Nino took us to all the small places we would have never stopped in. We ate the best “Real” Italian mozzarella of our lives. Not sure I will ever see mozzarella the same again after eating such an amazing cheese. There is so much more I could say but this review would be pages long. We’ve been to a lot of food tours over several different countries. Naples had the best food we’ve ever had hands down. Book Nino you will not be disappointed. The best food tour we’ve had

Mariagrazia was a perfect guide for the day. She met us at our hotel in Naples and worked with us on the agenda for the day. We did not have any "must do" for the day but were able to describe our idea of a "good day" and she did the rest. The whole day was amazing. Mariagrazia was full of information about the region. She navigated the roads, stops, and restaurant for us. I really only have glowing things to say about the experience. She was also very gracious with our two young daughters that wanted some beach time and to do some singing in the car. Mariagrazia was very nice, but she was more a driver than a tour guide. This is what the itinerary said what was in store for us: Check out from viewpoints, nature, and cultural gems such as Villa Oplonti, Positano and Amalfi plus other stops your local host has prepared for you along the way. Unfortunately, the description did not match the actual tour. We had three stops and got back to Naples 45 minutes before the tour was to end. Stop 1 was to try fresh mozzarella and cheese. Loved this! Our next stop was Positano but it seemed like she really didn't want to be go there and she stayed in the car for the hour that we explored the seaside town. Then it was off to Amalfi where we ate lunch at her cousin's restaurant that has an incredible water view. It also was the most expensive restaurant we ate at during our entire trip. After our lunch we were told we could explore the town for an hour. Our tour guide stayed behind in the restaurant and we went out again on our own without a guide. Since we had paid for a tour guide, we did not research what to do in the towns because that is what a tour guide is for, right? We never visited Villa oplonti and the description of the tour states that tickets for Villa Oplontis are included. Just OK

We had a great introduction to Naples with Nino. His approach was to educate us of why Naples is what it is today through its historical foundations. It was a very interesting technique which most could easily understand. As a foodie he moved seamlessly into giving an understanding of the development of the Napoleon food and wine culture. A thoroughly enjoyable 3 hours. A definite yes to using Nino. A great guide for discovering Naples!

We loved our walking tour with Nino. We enjoyed the combination of history and food! Nino pointed out so many things about Naples that we would have missed on our own. We even strolled by a plaque of a famous Italian who shares my last name and Nino knew all about him! It was very impressive. We loved that Nino knew all about the history the dishes as well as the city. Nino was very gracious with his time and made sure we had fun. We had a great day. We didn’t have any previous ideas of what to see other than watching a TV show about the area. Mariagrazia knew the show and took us to places better than the show. She showed us Her Amalfi coast. Every where we went we got special treatment because we were with Mariagrazia. From flexible restaurant reservations to preferred water taxi’s. I highly recommend. We booked a 10 Tastings of Naples street food tour with Nino for the day we arrived in Naples. Our family of four - two parents and two young adults - thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our walking and eating tour with him! The food we tasted was amazing and he gave us lots of background on the origins of the various things we tasted, the history of the region and so much more. The buffala mozarella, the pizza, the pasta with ragu...my mouth is watering remembering all the delectable foods we tasted! He also gave us a fantastic restaurant recommendation that turned out to be the best meal of our whole trip to Italy! Nino was delightful, informative and also gave us some great advice beforehand on procuring Napoli tickets. We would book with him again and recommend his street food tour to anyone looking for a nice overview in Naples. Worked out perfectly to do it our first day since we knew what we liked and could go back for more!Fantastic street food tour!

We had a great time with Mariagrazia. Her communication was great prior to our day with her. She was also able to adjust the pickup spot to make it easier for us. While on our trip, she was awesome at pointing out history and local points of interest. She took us to a cheese factory and we were able to see mozzarella being made and we even were able to try the cheese right from the production line. You can’t get any fresher than that! She also took us to try some local sweets that were amazing. I could go on and on as we experienced much more than what I have noted, however, I wanted to at least call the places that we would have never experienced if we were a part of a big tour group. It was fun because she engaged all of us and had some fun conversations with our kids and our youngest about video games. This was our third time using With Locals and it did not disappoint. It is so much better as Mariagrazia didn’t take the “normal” tourist route which would have added a lot of driving time and less time experiencing the local culture. We cannot recommend her enough as we had a great day with her! Fun experience seeing the Amalfi coast

This is the only tour of many with With Locals that was a disappointment. It was difficult to hear Nino and he seemed that he would much rather be elsewhere. While we agreed to skip one course, we only had six tastings. We ended an hour early. I have never before not tipped a guide but I felt that we way overpaid for what we received. Very disappointed

We had a wonderful and relaxing day with Mariagrazia as she drove us to see the towns along the Amalfi Coast. We met up with her at the Central Naples train station and then headed to Sorrento, Positano, Amalfi where we wandered a bit I. Town and enjoyed a delicious seaside lunch and Ravello, where we toured the Villa Rufala which to me was the most beautiful location. She gave us lots of information along the way about the culture, the history, the sea and land, the food, seems like everyone knew her everywhere we stopped as well, which was fun. Heading back we stopped in the side of the road for the best lemon ice I’ve ever had. And she helped my husband find the sunglasses he was hoping to buy while in Italy nearby, too. Mariagrazia was absolutely amazing. My husband and I had about Amalfi but Mariagrazia showed us Amalfi Coast. She was so knowledgeable about the area. We let her guide us and what time it was. We tasted fresh mozzarella and ricotta cheese😻 Fresh figs. Toured a beautiful grotto. Had the most delicious lemon slush. Lunch was FANTASTIC!!! We let her choose and it was the best meal!! We also learned a lot of Italian. Mariagrazia is the best you could ask for in a tour guide. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️Best day ever!!

Nino led us through Napoli on one of the hottest days of the year. He told us all kinds of great stories about the history of this awesome city, in a very relaxed way while he adjusted the program to our wishes. We had an excellent afternoon food tour with Nino! We had a family of 6 that included 2 seniors and 2 children (9yrs and 6yrs). Nino was warm, friendly, calm and patient and effortlessly walked us through the busy streets of Napoli tasting the BEST food. We tried so much delicious food but it was just the right amount as were full yet still comfortable and we enjoyed learning about the culture and the pride in their food. We had a wonderful day trip with Mariagrazia. She was so attentive to our 7 year old, he absolutely loved her. One of the highlights was a fantastic pizza and seafood lunch where we played Uno, all trying to win a round! We knew in advance some of the places we wanted to visit but she also had some ideas that we wouldn’t have known about and expertly drove us between stops, ensuring that we saw everything without ever being rushed. Mariagrazia was terrific. She picked four of us (two couples) up in Sorrento and took us on a tour of the Amalfi coast. She was very knowledgeable and very charming. Stopping along the route she would pull over and let us take breathtaking photos. Also stopped at a little fruit vendor where we had fresh squeezed orange juice and bought some fruit. We stopped at a very nice ceramic shop and next door took a quick side venture to the Green Grotto - very cool. Our other stops were in Positano and Amalfi. In Amalfi she joined us for lunch at her favorite restaurant where everyone knew her and we had a very nice lunch. Afterwards, we were taken back to the kitchen after the meal to pose for pictures with the chef and crew. Then time to wander around Amalfi. We were running low on time due to our schedule and a later start, so we had to miss Ravello (next time!). But we did stop in another great seaside town on the way back. Mariagrazia was the perfect host and great driver, we felt very confident with her behind the wheel as the traffic on the Amalfi coast is crazy. Highly recommend Mariagrazi and With Locals. A wonderful day with a wonderful driver

We took the walking food tour with Nino and he couldn’t have been better. His knowledge of the history, food and best places to get specific types of food was exactly what we were looking for. Nino was so polite and enjoyable to spend time with that it made for a perfect way to spend the last day of our three week vacation. The only recommendation I would make is (and I meant to do this before we met up but ran out of time) to let Nino of food preferences in advance. We are not big meat or fish eaters and had Nino known he would’ve tailored our tour accordingly. Lots of food for food lovers!! Great Experience

Our party of four adults (mom, dad, and 2 college students) had a great time with Mariagrazia on our driving tour of Sorrento, Positano and Amalfi. She took us to the best photo sites, places to eat/snack, shopping, and local attractions. We also skipped the crowds and dined at her cousin’s seaside restaurant in Amalfi, but there was absolutely no pressure to dine there—all itinerary decisions were made by us guests. Nino did a great job on our 10 Tastes tour. As a longtime and enthusiastic local, he was able to tell us a lot about the history of the city and its people. The walk was at a good pace, all the store owners knew him where we went, he reserved food and seats for us at little shops which we would not have been able to do on our own, he is personable and friendly and speaks good English. My wife and I had the pleasure of taking a tour of the Amalfi Coast with Mariagrazia. She was a fantastic guide that went above and beyond to provide us with a unique experience tailored you our specific requests, including a surprise stop along the way in her hometown where we were able to sample and purchase some delicious local cheese. On top of that, we were able to taste some amazing grilled artichokes being sold on the street, which was a real treat. Throughout the day, we stopped at various local shops and were able to enjoy a fantastic lunch right on the ocean. As if all of this wasn't enough, Mariagrazia even took us on a short tour of Napoli before saying our goodbyes. Overall, the tour was absolutely wonderful, and our guide was incredibly fun, knowledgeable and an absolute delight. We were only in Naples for a few days and looking for a way to see the city and taste some amazing food. Nino went above and beyond what we were expecting and told us all about the history of the city and even showed us hidden gems as we walked.
