Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 teenagers) had an excellent time with Marion. It is daunting to go into a big city with so much to see and a limited amount of time. Marion was great! Marion was delightful! She was engaging and knowledgeable and subtly hilarious. The history of Bavaria and Munich came to life as we wandered through the streets and bräuhausen and churches. I flew into munich on my way to meet family in Austria but wanted to take advantage of the limited time I had to get to know the City. Philippe was an outstanding guide. I needed to change the tour time at the last minute and he was very flexible. I am sure I could have spent a day with him and gathered a lot more information but he understood my time constraints and we hit all the high value spots in town. We highly recommend you book this walking tour with Philipp. Phillip provides the perfect introduction to the Old Town of Munich. He is extremely knowledgeable and has carefully curated a comprehensive introduction to Munich’s town centre, its winding streets, its baroque churches, the Residential Palace, the historic sites with their storied history, museums, bier halls, folklore, and more, altogether a thorough, concise and entertaining overview of the city’s history and culture. We learned a great deal while having a lot of fun. Phillip clearly loves his home town, and has given careful thought to how to make it accessible to the visitor. His English is impeccable. He provides the right amount of information without overwhelming you. When we were done, we felt at home, and we were ready to be on our own for our next steps. In addition to the ideal walking tour, Phillip provided us with a link to his website which is full of helpful information and videos that allowed us to prepare for our visit in advance. All in all, it doesn’t get better than this. 10/10 for sure.A definite recommend with Philipp!

We spent the afternoon with Marion today and had an amazing time. She was prompt meeting us. The weather was horrible but she was a true professional and didn’t let that slow us down. Very informative, showed us lots of historical photos which really put the information into context. Very enthusiastic with perfect English, and kept our sons (11 and 14) completely engaged the whole time. We really felt that we saw some places that were off the main track, and it was very good to go at our own pace rather than to keep up with a large group. Philipp is an excellent guide and we thoroughly recommend a tour with him - you will learn so much! Such a good tour!

We like to mix education with entertainment on our short city breaks, especially when travelling with teenagers. Spending morning one with Philipp was perfect. He tailored his delivery, describing the modern history of the city, and lifting it off the page with actually seeing the buildings that still survive. Frank was flexible and picked us up from our hotel in the old town for a private tour for 2 people. He was knowledgeable and went at our pace. Wir waren eine Gruppe mit 21 Personen verschiedener Nationalitäten. Bei heissen Temperaturen inkl. Stadtfest keine leichte Aufgabe :-) Philipp hat es aber super gemeistert mit seiner sympathischen Art und uns in 5,3 Stunden inkl. Abstecher in einen erfrischenden Biergarten, München sehr gut und interessant gezeigt. (obwohl er durch die Grösse der Gruppe nicht all sein Geplantes zeigen konnte und seine Tour gut angepasst hat).Toll gemacht!!!
