Andrea met us on time, and his knowledge of Florence was encyclopedic. I am quite obese, and I walk slow, but Andrea made sure to include me, find places for me to sit while telling us about the wonders around us, and was patient and kind. He is a perfect example of everything a private guide should be. The time we spent with Andrea in Florence is one of our favorite memories. We learned so much it inspired us to watch the Medici's on Netflix, and I even bought a book. :) Even though we didn't exactly follow Andrea's scheduled itinerary, because we asked to see some areas more in depth, because of his wonderful story-telling, he was flexible and absolutely gave us a great day. I highly encourage you to book Andrea, and we plan to do so, the next time we are in Florence! Due in part to Andrea, and also the amazing food, Florence became our favorite place in all of Italy! Walking can be a bit painful for my wife and we tend to go slowly. Andrea was great at adapting his tour of Firenze to meet our needs. His enthusiasm for the City and its history is infectious. Particularly impressed that he was able find us Skip the Line tickets for David with a days notice and that we truly simply walked in to gallery without any wait at all. We took a two hour walking tour of Florence with Andrea last week as an alternative to a cruise shore excursion, and we are so happy we did. He worked around our tight schedule and adapted his usual route to suit us more. His pace was excellent and his small attention to detail was great. Florence is very walkable but due to the fact we did not have a huge amount of time, having Andrea to take us directly to the main sites while providing interesting historical context ensured this was a worthwhile tour. His English is very good, he is an engaging speaker and clearly passionate about this city. He also recommended a spot for a late lunch close to where we needed to be collected and is was the best meal of our Italian trip. We can not recommend Andrea enough, especially if you have an interest in Florentine history.If you have an interest in the history of Florence, Andrea is your guide

Andrea provide the most fascinating tour that was filled with both historical information as well as little known fun facts that you don’t typically get on tours!! We booked this tour for our first day in Florence. Andrea made this tour interesting and fun. He is passionate at his job and is knowledgeable about his city. Even though we walked a lot, it was worth it to learn and see all the different places in Florence that are so rich in history. Andrea pointed out a lot of little interesting details about the city and life there that we would not have known or even noticed walking by ourselves. Obviously Florence has a lot to see and experience that is impossible to see in a few hours, but this tour is a great introduction to the city, especially if you are short on time. We booked this tour as we had only a few days in Florence, and didn’t know enough about the city to know where to start. It was the best decision we made! Andrea was very knowledgable and very passionate about his city. This was a great introduction to Florence, and the length was perfect as we were ready for a break afterwards! Andrea's tour of Florence was fun and exciting and really uncovered the layers of history that exist in the city. It covered art and history and the most central sites of the historic centre.
