We had our 13 yr. old grandson along with us this time. Being a baseball player it was his title. The canal tour showed definitely one area that was a major part in the history of Milan. In Milan for a wedding so we wanted to see as much as possible. Alice was very knowledgeable, easy to get along with. The history that she gave us at each site was impressive. Nice pace for walking, but included little extras that made the tour our own. YOUR THE BEST !!!

Alice was great! She adjusted the tour to make sure it was a good experience for our four year old daughter. We walked around Duomo, got Gelato, a stop in the old market, the stock exchange, the castle, see the ducks and turtles in the park, and finished in China Town. She also provided us some recommendations for places to get food we were looking for.Great Tour of Milano!!

We really didn’t know what to expect when we signed up for a tour with withlocals. We met Alice at the designated spot in Porta Nuova. She was so happy to meet us and so friendly and just established an immediate connection. We then spent a wonderful 90 minutes walking around Milan where Alice pointed out all of the sites and gave us a history lesson as well starting from Roman times up to present day. We did not know anything about Milan before we came and we can walk away saying that we have a much better idea of how important Milan is to Italy and its place in the world. We heartily recommend Alice for any kind of tour or information gathering. She is very special!Alice is exceptional!

Alice had a well planned tour and took us from the new parts of the city, which are stunning, to the old, which are very beautiful. She tailored it to suit our personal requirements and made it very relaxed and interesting for us. She has a great knowledge of the history of the city, from Roman times right up to the present day. I am in Milan for a quick work trip with my husband. My kids came too. I was worried there wasn’t going to be much to do with kids in Milan abs how to make this trip an educational one as they are missing school. Alissa created an enjoyable and educational experience for the kids and I! She took us to all the popular Milan spots, all the hidden gems, a delicious cafe, and taught us way more then we could ever read in a book. The money spent for the tour was worth every penny (and some honestly). She even gave me tip and advise of other places to see with the kids while here. Being a WL-guide (in Brussels) myself I wanted to experience the not touristic Milano and Alisa did a great job. Despite having travelled to a multitude of cities around the world, I felt Milan was a bit mysterious and impenetrable at first, despite reading my trusty guidebook (maybe it was just the heat and the Metro strike?). Booking a tour with Alisa changed all that (including a drop in temperature, making a 3 hour walk very pleasant - magic!). Alisa is friendly, enthusiastic and informative. Our walking tour covered all the usual tourist spots but also some of the interesting and beautiful sights of Milan I would never have found on my own, and certainly not as efficiently. Along the way she provided a fascinating history of Italy and Milan that I would never have gleaned from a guidebook, and she even provided recommendations of where was good to eat afterwards. The tour was worth every euro (and considering the awful pound to euro exchange rate at the moment - that is saying something!). I highly recommend taking a tour with Alisa. It made my trip - thank you!A perfect tour guide!

I asked Alisa to give us a highlights tour of Milan, including taking us to places only a local would know as we were only in Milan for a day. We were a family group of 6 people aged 5 - 45 and Alisa managed to incorporate something to interest us all. Both modern and old architecture, shopping districts, hidden back streets and treasures such as flamingos and a whispering ear, a secret garden just for children and she even found a delicious local bakery to sustain 4 hungry boys.
