Spending a day trip with Elizabeth all around the Peninsula was a memorable and perfect experience. Elizabeth was a wonderful host and made us (5 adults, 2 kids) just enjoy the day as friends and not only tourists! Even a small bus for all of us was organized by her. She showed us all the ‚touristy‘ spots as well as some hidden secrets - we loved the lunch at the little oustrich farm and especially the kids the huge ice cream in the local community place in Hout Bay. Still worth a laugh seeing the kids struggeling to handle it 😀 Elizabeth gave us all the needed insights about the places we visited and the animals we saw. Sebastian war mehr als pünktlich für unsere Abholung im Hotel erschienen und erklärte zu Anfang die vorgesehene Tagesroute, die dem entsprach, was wir uns vorab gewünscht hatten. Ein guter Fahrer, der dazu noch gute Erläuterungen zur Umgebung geben konnte. Auch allgemeine Infos über Geschichte, Geographie, Land und Leute hat er gut verständlich gegeben. An Wasser an Bord war gedacht, danke nochmals dafür. Der zeitliche Ablauf war für uns gut, wir waren zur erwarteten Zeit wieder zurück im Hotel. Unsere erste Tour überhaupt in Afrika empfanden wir als sehr gelungen und können sowohl die Plattform „withlocals“ als auch Sebastian uneingeschränkt weiter empfehlen. Rundum mehr als zufrieden

Really enjoyed our day touring with Rushdi. Prompt pick-up, spotlessly clean vehicle, and he even provided cold water. He did a great job of sharing context and history as we enjoyed the natural beauty along the peninsula. His choice of lunch stop was outstanding. Elizabeth was a wonderful guide. Our day with her exploring the tip of the Cape was quite the adventure. Everything from the Cape penguins to the sea scape at the furthest SW tip of the Cape, to the ostrich farm and the vine yards...each one a great experience. I and three adult family members spent a wonderful day exploring the Cape Penisular with Elizabeth as our guide. It was our first time in South Africa. She was an exceptional guide, we were fortunate to have found her and I would strongly recommend her. Elizabeth has detailed knowledge of the Cape and obviously loves the place. She was fun company and took great care of us. Her commentary was full of fascinating facts including little gems that bring a place alive. She included everything we asked for in the itinerary, plus a couple of stops she suggested which were great. By following her guidance to leave home early we missed the crowds at the Cape of Good Hope, who arrived in bus loads as we were leaving. Brilliant. It was quite a spontaneous decision for us to go on this tour but we don’t regret we did! Sebastian makes sure you’re comfortable throughout the day, he is very accommodating to your wishes and the mood - he will adjust itinerary to what you want or don’t want to see on the way. He will probably have an answer to any question you have - very knowledgeable about history, nature or everyday lives of the locals. After a day in his car you will surely know more about the culture and local reality than what the tour guide books tell. Importantly, he is a good and safe driver, so you’re in good hands all day. The tour itself is amazing - it will lead you through breathtaking scenery, with Cape of good hope and cape point, Chapman’s peak . On our way we managed to spot ostriches, baboons, penguins and thanks to Sebastian’s gut feel that “something is going on there” even a whale. All in all - I totally recommend a tour with Sebastian. make sure you have your camera with you and it’s fully charged, as he will make sure to stop anywhere you like - to enjoy the moment and capture it on a photo for memories. We booked a tour with safwaan last week on our trip to CPT. Safwaan picked us up from the hotel and we asked him to modify the planned itiniery according to the places we wanted to see. Some of the activities which were not even part of the itiniary (for example table mountain) safwaan still took us there as well. He is living there for almost 40 years so he knows the city very well. He is very friendly not only with his clients but also the people around. Some of the things we loved about the tour with Safwaan: • He pays attention to details, for example he'd already pulled out the front seat when he came to pick us up. He was like "there's always a tall guy" so he had already prepared for that so i can sit in back seat with ease. • He offered us that he can take some pictures of us during the tour at different destinatinos where he took us and he took very nice photos of us and sent them to us on whatsapp. Note he's not some professional photographer but he managed to take some very nice candid photos of us which was a really nice gesture. • We did one vineyard tour / wine tasting with him and he informed the staff to let us try some of the wines what he also recommends are best. Our package was for 3 wine tasting but we got some extra upon his request to the vineyard staff. • He knows some really nice restaurants specially because he has background as a chef so he really knows some good food places around. He took us to one local fish restaurant (kalky) at the fish hoek, and it was one of the best fish we ever had. • He is very well informed about culture and political highlights of the country. In case if you would like to understand about culture / people of the country he will give you a complete background story about different areas, different people as well many tourist spots and the history behind them. • We spotted penguins and seals. • Friendly, easy going and he goes extra mile to make sure his clients have a great tour, a great host to have.
