Deborah was very kind and outgoing. She provided us with a great combination of history and local food. We went to places that we would never have found on our own. We loved sitting down at the end with her to enjoy a delicious meal at a local restaurant and felt like we had made a friend by the end. Excellent tour with focus on local cuisine

Our walk was planned around seeing a different view of the city, not just the tourist attractions . We really enjoyed exploration of old residential areas with exceptional city views and their history. Food and restaurants off the usual promenade and harbour. With typical food choices which we enjoyed after our walk. Onwards to the City park and the woods. Our guide Debora was informative and a pleasure to share time with. We have done several of these 10 tastes tours in different countries. This was by far the least organized. We spent most of the time at a cafe where Debora had brought items from the grocery store or bakery near her home. We then walked through a market (without sampling anything), then walked around town reading menus (again without eating), and finally stopped for a sandwich which was very good. This was extremely poor value for the price and overall a very bad tour. With that said, Debora is a very nice person with a lovely personality. I had a sense she had never led this particular tour.Unstructured and Not 10 Tastes!

We had a fantastic tour with Débora! She was super friendly and guided us expertly through the beautiful city of Split. Her knowledge of the city’s history was impressive, and she shared many interesting facts along the way. One of the highlights was discovering some hidden gems, including breathtaking panoramic views. Débora also pointed out great restaurants and cafés, giving us insight into traditional Croatian cuisine. I arranged a tour with Debora that split half Hidden Treasures and half Culinary Kickstart for myself and a friend in Split. It worked out really well, we met Debora and had a glass of wine and some savory pastries while we discussed what we were interested in seeing. We then strolled around the Diocletian palace neighborhood, learning about the complex history and Croatian culture. Debora was smart and fun. It felt like hanging out with a good friend. Debora went above and beyond and was able to tailor the experience to my needs. Débora organised an incredible last minute tour for us. She was incredibly receptive to the fact that we have a young daughter and needed to allow for several stops. Débora booked us a private wine tasting with an incredible view and showed us beautiful beaches, towns and historical spots.
