We did the Taste of Triana - Market & Tapas Experience with Elena. It was a fantastic experience with the best combination of food, wine and history. Elena had an intimate knowledge of the Triana Markets and so was able to show us around and order us tapas dishes, cheeses, salads and other local delicacies that we would never would have thought of ordering. She also introduced us to local wines and spirits that we had never experienced before. Elena’s personality was bubbly and gregarious - she had a great sense of humour and nothing was too much trouble. The experience with Elena was one of the best highlights of our visit to Seville. The best experience!!

A delightful experience. Elena superbly guided us through some wonderful iconic sights, & hidden gems. It was terrific to share stories of our respective countries. Elena showed genuine curiosity & interest in our country, as we did hearing & learning from her. Given the heat in Seville, it was a welcome respite to visit the Convent & have lovely home- baked biscuits by the Nuns & have coffee in the nearby bar. Elena was fantastic! She took us to several different stops with a variety of flavors and explained the historical and cultural context of each dish and paired it well with drinks appropriate for the taste and the locale. Each place was clearly the favorite of locals as opposed to a tourist spot. Elena not only had deep knowledge of the wine and drink selections but also explained the cultural nuances of our surroundings. She also explained a lot about Flamenco and its origins and histories as well as the Andalusian language living right in front of us! Very much worth the value! We had toured the “big sites” as part of a larger group tour. We had a free afternoon and asked Laura to arrange a walk that would show us more of Sevilla. From the Plaza de España to the Triana neighborhood and many places in between, she did just that! We did the guided tour of the Alcázar of Seville with Laura. The tour was fantastic and was definitely one of the highlights of our vacation! Elena provided us with a fantastic food tour experience in Triana. We tried lots of different foods and drinks, and were very full by the end of the tour. Elena also gave a lot of great historical background information on the food and neighborhood. Elena has training in gastronomy/wine, in addition to being born and raised in Seville, making her a fantastic tour guide. The one area for improvement would be around organization. Elena reached out to reschedule our tour the day before, which luckily we were able to accommodate. We loved Elena! She is so warm, professional and deeply knowledgeable about her home town. We had such an amazing time that we booked her again for the following day! Seamlessly integrating information about history, culture, and food, she deeply enriched our visit to Sevilla. We learned and experienced things that we would never have had access to otherwise — for example, a bar steeped in the history of flamenco as a form of artistic resistance that served an exclusive variety of orange wine and a fantastic dish of pork prepared in an Arabian style. Everywhere we went we were warmly welcomed because we were with her. We did not encounter tourists or other guides at any of our food stops. Elena was also very generous with recommendations and answers to our questions beyond the time that we spent with her. Elena was a total pleasure to spend time with and she has my highest recommendation.Elena is phenomenal

Laura met us at our Hotel which made the start of our tour very easy as we didn’t have to locate a meeting point. From there Laura took us on a 3 hour walking tour through the city showing us historical sites and various other interesting places on the route. She took us through some quieter parts of the city which visitors don’t always see. If you like history then Laura is definitely a guide we would recommend.
