We enjoyed our time with Ilona. She was very knowledgeable and took her responsibilities as a tour guide very seriously. Both in communicating ahead of time and day of our tour, Ilona took the time to discover what we were interested and incorporated that into her remarks. While our tour was the Gaudi tour, I appreciated that Ilona incorporated the history and background that led to Catalunyan Modernisme, as well as showed us and talked about architecture by others from that time period. Ilona gave us the right amount of information, not overwhelming us without too much detail yet making sure we understood the most important points. Our morning with Ilona was a morning well-spent.Great tour with knowlegeable guide

I had the pleasure of having a tour with Alessandro on my recent trip to Barcelona. We walked all over the Gothic Quarter, the Jewish Quarter, La Rambla, the Roman Temple of Augustus, Cathedral of Barcelona, and so much more. He was so knowledgeable about the history of Barcelona, the culture, the people. He pointed out little things here and there that as a casual tourist you would never notice. He was also very kind and easy to talk to. I can't recommend Alessandro enough if you're looking for a tour of Barcelona. Wonderful Experience

While on our cruise, we realized we had 3.5 hours after we disembarked in Barcelona before we needed to check in for our flight. After an awesome Barcelona pre-cruise food tour with Vicky, we decided we wanted her to pick us up at the Cruise Port, see some more of Barcelona and then drop us off at the airport. Vicky developed an itinerary with the cost, emailed it to me for approval and then she and the driver picked us up at the Cruise Port. Another awesome tour of a wonderful city with a rich history, culture and food. We stopped and toured around the Olympic Village and walked along the beach. We stopped at a noted Paella restaurant for a very tasteful lunch. After taking a post lunch walk and visiting two Chocolate stores, it was time to head to the airport. Highly recommend that you engage Vicky in any tour that she leads! She has become family and we can’t wait to visit Barcelona again to have her show us more highlights. We really enjoyed our tour with Ilona. She was warm, knowledgeable, and brought so much local history into the food experience that it felt like we were getting two tours in one. We appreciated her help in cutting through the tourist traps and introducing us to dishes and spots we wouldn’t have tried on our own. Vicky was super informative and very knowledgeable. She personalized our tour and pivoted when we got off schedule like a pro. We expected more. Ilona was really very,very friendly But unfortunately the tour was a little bit uninspired and boring. She told us facts from the travel guide and unfortunately didn’t really inspire us with hidden secrets from Barcelona. To be honest 200 Euros is a bit much for that.Disappointing

We loved the walking food tour with our guide. We were a family of 4, with an 11-year-old child. She made it fun and interesting for all of us. We learned about the history of Barcelona and saw some interesting things along the way to the restaurants, like a folk festival with dancing and a band, and a parade as well. The tapas we got to pick out at the restaurant were enough to count as a meal. The dessert we had at the restaurant next door was heavenly!Great food tour in Barcelona!

Our group of 4 senior women had a most wonderful tapas experience with Alan . We were joining a larger group tour 2 days after our arrival in Barcelona. We asked Alessandro to arrange a walking tour that would visit other areas of the city and not overlap the group tour itinerary. We also asked to arrange a day trip out of Barcelona. After providing our interests, we left the rest to him. He provided a suggested itinerary and reserved the entry tickets and train tickets ahead of time so that everything went smoothly His educational background in history was obvious. I booked a tour of Sagrada Familia with Alessandro as a way to celebrate my husband's 65th birthday. It was his first time in Spain and I wanted to do something really special on the big day. I had never before scheduled a private tour without going through a hotel concierge so I wasn't sure what to expect, but am SO glad that I went this route and will definitely do so again in the future! Alessandro is kind, knowledgable, and passionate about history, art and culture. He made our time fun, interesting and incredibly memorable. I made a few requests in advance of our time together, and Alessandro was more than happy to oblige. We liked our time with Laura. She was punctual and pleasant. We appreciated her flexibility during the planning stage and she was quick to respond and suggest tweaks to the plan. The actual “tour” was ok - she provided high level overview of various Gaudí buildings however the depth was lacking - we had higher expectations given her architectural background however she only provided very high level information which was somewhat disappointing. Overall if you are looking for a nice walk through Barcelona and high level overview of Gaudí and his creations Laura works be a good choice. If you are looking for an in depth dive into the architecture and architect - looks elsewhere. Good high level overview of Gaudi and city
