Deborah is a lovely guide and accomodating with children, allowing flexibility to ensure our son was comfortable. It is a bit of a walk, and a sweetie tour only (not much for included and we took the 10-1 pm) so suggest having lunch packed for your children (or you can buy food at the first cafe) and taking a pram for younger kids. Learnt a bit about the architecture of buildings and Amsterdam in general. Thank you Deb!Family Friendly, easy-going tour

Do not use Debora for your tour! We had an awful experience - she started our tour by having us wait 40 minutes in the heat wave for a ferry as she admitted she hadn’t checked the times for that day She then took us to a bar with a beach with for a smoothie and I started to ask her about the rest of the tour as I hadn’t been happy wasting an hour to come to a bar with a young kid and she then admitted that the candy shop that had been promised on the tour description was shut because it was a Tuesday - our tour had been booked on a Tuesday for weeks and this was the first I heard of it. I then explained why I was unhappy with the tour as she took payment. But as soon as she took payment she went off to call with locals and then came back to tell me she was ending the tour. I complained and said I wanted to continue as I had just paid but was trying to explain why I had been so unhappy. Debora did not want to listen to any criticism and walked off leaving myself and my 6 year old daughter on our own in a foreign city with no clue what ferry to take back. Do not use this lady!!! Debora took out money and completely ruined our first day. We had a wonderful tour the next day with Anja which was worlds apart.she took our money and cancelled our tour mid way

Debora cancelled our bike tour a few hours before. She attempted to reschedule, and we tried to accommodate in the short amount of time, but it didn’t happen. We are still waiting for our refund ten days later. We understand emergencies happen, but there has been little effort to make things right. Cancelled tour, still awaiting refund

Debora was amazing with my husband and kids. Unfortunately, I came down with a stomach virus and couldn’t go, but my husband took our 4 kids to the train station to meet Debora. There were issues with the trains and Debora knew just what to do. She was able to get everyone there safely and they had the most wonderful day. The kids came back excited and told me all about their adventures and how Debora was so helpful. My husband said it was great to have someone so knowledgeable. She was amazing! Fabulous!

Samen met mijn zoon van 9 jaar heb ik een op maat gemaakte tour geboekt bij Debora. We zijn een hele dag op sta geweest, hebben allerlei leuk activiteiten gedaan (op kindermaat) en Debora heeft ons meegenomen naar verschillende verborgen parels, waar je als toerist nooit naartoe zou gaan, gewoonweg omdat je het niet weet. Enkel een local kan zoiets weten en je wegwijs maken. Hoewel we helemaal uitgeregend waren en de tour daardoor wat gewijzigd diende te worden is het een fantastische dag geweest en kijken we met plezier terug. Het feit dat alles zo persoonlijk wordt aangepakt maakt de beleving des te intenser.Geweldig!

Biking around Amsterdam with Debora was just what we needed with the kids. She was friendly and energetic and our kids loved riding in the clog bike. We have a 5-yr old and a 3-yr old and they fit fine and loved the playground stop. Unfortunately, the pancake house was closed but we more than made up for it with a stop in the market for the best stroopwafel. Would highly recommend. Amazing way to see Amsterdam with kids

This was the perfect way to see the City on our 1st day. We were not only delighted with all the food but Debora helped us learn how to navigate Amsterdam. Debora was very accomidating especially with our 7 year old son and she coordinanted a special custom tour for us to include meeting us at our houseboat rental. The markets in Amsterdam are amazing and having a local expert show us the traditional foods plus allowing us to choose other options that struck our eye was greatly appreciated. One of the local spots she visits was closed due to teh kitchen opening late but as a true professional she was felxible and had a backup plan. If we could give it 6 stars out of 5 we would! Zaans schans is beautiful and idylic and the perfect way to escape the city and see the countryside. Debora was energetic, engaging, knowledgeable and very friendly. She made sure we had our own private demonstrations at each of the places we visited- barrel coopery, cheese shop, cacaolab, clog maker, grocery store. She was the perfect guide for our family of 5! We loved her and recommend her and this tour to everyone!We loved this tour!

Debora was perfect for our kids tour. Not only did the kids enjoy every aspect she planned, but it was a nice tour for us as parents. She was easy going, gave us some cultural and historical information...all while making it fun. The bikes were a fun way to explore and do so in a fun "local" like fashion. We spent 3 days discovering Amsterdam spending time on the canals and museums... and we wanted to discover the countryside . This 4 hours trip with Debora certainly matched our expectations - we visited mills, learnt how we make fine chocolate and had a great fun during an epic chocolate testing. We also learnt how to make a clog... Debora was always very attentive to make sure we got the best of our visit and she also gave us personal perspectives of her living in Amsterdam which were very enjoyable.A different Amsterdam

Debora is very nice and very helpful. She even got us a present for our honeymoon ! It is really worth going to Zaanse Schans with a guide because with the amount of people there we would have been discouraged and we would have not done anything. Debora took it upon herself to make sure we got into the main attractions despite there being massive groups in front of us. When there is less people, she will organise private presentations for you which is very enjoyable. We definitely recommend the tour and the tour guide ! Amazing

Debora was a lot of fun and she was very patient with our 4 year old - he was tired and not 💯 himself. After arriving in Amsterdam and seeing alllllllll the bikes I was nervous to go on a bike tour. However, unbeknownst to me, booking for 930am on a Sunday meant we had the roads and park to ourselves. It was a nice and relaxing ride and our son loved being in the clog bike - he talked about it we'll into the evening. Debora was kind and warm and the morning was lovely. Just got back from Amsterdam touring with Deborah. She cannot come more highly recommended from us for touring the city. We were visiting as a family with two children ages 12 and 10 to the city. She arranged for us to all go biking throughout the city, an experience that my children will definitely remember for a very long time. She is fun, easygoing, and so very knowledgeable about her city. We had the best morning seeing sights that were off the beaten path. Deborah is such a sweet lady and we would highly recommend her for showing you around Amsterdam. True to other reviews of her, she was very engaging with our children ages 12 and 10. She always had a smile on her face and was very flexible when showing us the city. She was considerate of the girls, but had a great plan for finding the best food items that she knew my kids ages 12 and 10 would enjoy. Our family had a wonderful day in Zaanse Schans with Debora. She is immensely likeable and It was lovely having someone knowledgeable who made this visit unique. As she knew it well and what each shop/windmill could offer, she organised mini educational sessions with them for the girls. We learnt a lot more and was so much more interesting than just walking around the place. My 5 and 7 year olds loved the special attention they got from her and the strategic gifts, surprises and activities she had arranged for them throughout the day. It was a very relaxed and happy day out for us all. I highly recommend Debora for getting more out of Amsterdam and making it special. Debora was such a wonderful host! It was an absolute pleasure to spend a morning with Debora strolling the streets and tasting the treats of Amsterdam. Debora's kind, warm, bright and friendly manner makes her the perfect person for this tour! She was so great with our two kids (8 and 4)... They were chatting with her like they were old friends by the end of our tour- so cute! It was a very relaxing experience. Debora shared historical facts and we walked through Amsterdam... She took us to 5 locations with scrumptious food, including wonderful markets, and there was no sense of rushing. The tour ended in Sarphatipark where the kids could run around and play. My 2 1/2 year old daughter and I had a fantastic experience with Debora! Since my daughter is so young, we are a bit limited in the types of formal tours we can do. Our bike tour with Debora was a perfect solution. My daughter loved riding around the city in a giant clog, reading Dutch children’s books and learning Dutch songs from Debora. Debora, whom my son called as "Madam", was so great and fun to be with! My 3yo Toddler son enjoyed her company so much. He Loved the way Debora guide and lead us to our magical experience at Zaanse Schans! It rained and it was so cold, train got delayed but with the help of Debora, we still managed to enjoy the place, taste so many varieties of chocolates and cheese!... We were delighted with Debora's guide and hospitality. She was very friendly and warm, even given our overtired children. The highlight was the arts and craft session, painting the clogs. They are very proud of their work and it was a good bonding time with Debora, who supplied clogs, paints and brushes. The early morning start meant we got a little ahead of the tourist crowd, which was very nice. Very highly recommended!Family oriented!

This was not the first time we had visited -Amsterdam but it was the first time we had booked a trip and found this website. We chose a child friendly trip - so we could take our time. Deborah was fantastic. Meeting us on time and helping us navigate the trains. She explained the history and also asked locals for demonstrations so we could see. She also had paints and a clog for our daughter to paint. It was a lovely trip and we really enjoyed it and wouldn’t think twice about recommending Deborah to anyone. Fantastic Experience
