A very intimate and personal tour that made it feel like a good friend was sharing his neighborhood food with us. We found the culinary tour very surprising. The food was diverse and more than plentiful, and it could be adjusted at any time to suit personal preferences. Tiago took us to six different places, spaced out over three hours. The tastings were so varied and all very good except we didn’t care for the currywurst. We understood that is a typical German street food. We highly enjoyed the rest though. Tiago was a great guide and even helped us with the Bahn route back to our hotel. I highly recommend his tour.Great food tour!

If you’re looking for an exceptional food tour, Tiago is your guy. Tiago was amazing. Along with the food tour, he seamlessly integrated the history of Berlin, Germany, as we moved from one food location to another. He doesn’t just show you Berlin’s cuisine; he also introduces you to the most popular foods in Germany, even those that aren’t traditionally German. Tiago provides an authentic food experience along with popular favorites. Tiago introduced me to something I would’ve never tried, I am a very picky eater. This food item ended up being my number one item out of ten. By the way, All 10 food items were amazing. When I mentioned I hadn’t had the chance to try bratwurst, Tiago went out of his way to add it to our tour, even though it wasn’t originally included. This is my 3rd food tour, this one is the best…hands down. Tiago’s has topped If you want a true taste of Germany’s melting pot, Tiago is your guy.An amazing food tour

From the moment we met, Tiago made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. His warm personality and genuine enthusiasm set the perfect tone for the tour. One of the highlights of the tour was Tiago's exceptional attention to detail and his ability to accommodate all of our food restrictions seamlessly. No request was too much, and he ensured that everyone in our group could fully enjoy the culinary delights Berlin has to offer. The tour itself was a fantastic journey through Berlin’s vibrant food and drink scene. Tiago’s extensive knowledge and passion for the local cuisine were evident at every stop. He went above and beyond, not only showing us the best spots during the tour but also sharing additional recommendations afterward. There were so many stops too, all of different kinds of food and drink that helped us get to know the culture and area where we were staying. The true testament to Tiago’s impact was our frequent return visits to his wine bar. We found ourselves coming back three times during our week-long trip, each visit as delightful as the last. The food and drink were consistently outstanding, and the friendly, welcoming atmosphere made it a highlight of our time in Berlin. We cannot recommend this tour and Tiago as a guide more highly. Het eten was goed, wel erg veel. Tiago was aangenaam gezelschap en wist goede eettentjes te vinden. Hij gaf ook nog veel ideeën om te eten tijdens de rest van ons verblijf. Helaas konden we niet overal zitten en was het soms wat druk. Als tip zou ik willen meegeven dat het eten eventueel wat minder mag en er wat meer drinken bij mag.Heerlijk eten op fijne plaatsen

Uygur was professional and informative, but (almost more importantly) treated us as friends….eating in great places and enjoying the laidback vibe of Kreuzberg. Tiago is such a warm and friendly host and really treated us to some amazing food! He took us to his local market and started us off with Leberkase. Then from there we walked to see the pretty part of the neighborhood which did not get bombed in the war. Plenty of history and funny stories told along the way. Tiago macht oft Touren für ausländische Gäste und bietet ihnen typisch deutsche Gerichte. Da wir Deutsche sind, hat er uns ausländische Gerichte geboten: portugiesisch, türkisch, koreanisch ... My husband and I did the 10 tastings of Berlin with Claudia. She was fun, shared interesting stories, and took us to some places with delicious food. First we had freshly baked brezels (pretzels) with cream cheese and chives. We meandered around Kreutzberg and stopped for a variety of international foods. We had a unique sausage sandwich, spring rolls, beer with raspberry syrup, curry wurst, a decadent cake topped whipped cream, and finally ice cream. The best part was meeting Claudia who shared her life experiences of living in Berlin. I highly recommend her tour. Claudia is a 10!

Ok, maybe 3 words - SIGN UP NOW! We like to do a food tour whenever we visit a new city. This was our first time doing an international tour / Berlin. After researching "Berlin food tours" (probably way more than I needed to) I kept landing on Withlocals. And it did not disappoint. The tour was in Kreuzberg, which gave us the perfect opportunity to explore (and learn about) this amazing area of Berlin. While the tour (and eats) were amazing, our guide Sara was 10x amazing!! She has an incredible wealth of knowledge about the history of Berlin and is one of those people you want to invite to a Holiday Family Dinner 5 minutes after meeting her. She's the real deal. And as others have mentioned, she goes above and beyond with getting to know us - like and dislikes - and caters to that. But she does it in a way you don't realize she's doing it. She also sent us recommendations for things to do later that day - that were close to our hotel and what we had mentioned we were looking to do. Oh, and we were the only group on the tour. Which made it even that more personal. Do not look any further - book this!! And thanks Sara for a fabulous outing. One Word - AMAZING!
