This was one of our favorite experiences in all of Eastern Europe. Andrei is warm and welcoming, and is a fantastic guide with a wealth of knowledge for both history and cultural interests. He is well-traveled and is able to compare and contrast with many other countries and cities. We loved the places that he introduced to us; the food was amazing. Definitely bring your appetite, as there are multiple stops—it’s tempting to overeat at each stop! Simply excellent

This is such a truly memorable experience. I thank Nafiseh so much because she was very flexible about the schedule of my tour. I supposed to have a food tour on Saturday but because my flight was cancelled so i have to ask her to reschedule it. She normally doesn’t work on Sunday’s but she still rescheduled my tour on Sunday. I really appreciate her for her kindness. The food tour is a highly recommend. She introduced me for some delicious local foods and educated me on the history of the city and how that influenced the architecture. The highlight of the tour for me was in Caru cu bere, a traditional Romanian restaurant. The foods there are amazing!!!! Highly recommended

We met Corina outside the Amezi chiurch to begin our tour. We walked through town while Corina shared her knowledge of the city and the culinary highlights. As we continued, our conversations turned to daily life for Romanians following the end of communism. We learned so much as she shared the challenges of housing and working in this economy. We are grateful to have spent the evening with her. As for the food part, since we had already been to the restaurant she had chosen for us, she adapted and ordered new and better dishes. All in all, a lovely evening. Fascinating and enjoyable tour

We had very limited time and Naviseh was super accommodating. We wouldn’t have been able to see the city without her tour! Highly recommend. It even started pouring on our way from the airport to meeting her and she stopped to grab us umbrellas so we could continue our tour. Great experience!

Andreea was wonderful. Very responsive prior to our tour. This was a very informative tour without being overwhelming with dates and things that one will not remember. It was a nice crafted story that had an easy flow to it and made time pass very quickly. Andreea is very knowledgeable and not only knows Bucharest but loves it as well. She wants you to love it as well while not omitting any information, good or bad. We left really loving Bucharest and its history. I would recommend Andreea without hesitation. He is gentle and knowledgeable, with first hand experience of the challenges that the inhabitants of this beautiful country have undergone in recent times. I couldn't have wished for a better guide in Andrei for a very informed tour of central bucharest. It was like being shown round by a friend he told the history of the city in a very clear manner. We were locked in intense chat for the whole 2 hours ; we could easily have gone in for a third hour! Left great memories for visit the to the city. An amazing 2 Hours

Thoroughly recommend the Transylvanian castle trip - starting with Peles Castle, then Bran Castle and finishing with Brasov. Yes, it's a long trip but Roberto the tour guide was hilarious and Luciano was a brilliant driver and went out of his way to make sure we didn't get stuck in traffic on the way home. Make sure you bring a book/music for the drive but the scenery in the mountains was outstanding and kept us spell bound as did Roberto's commentary. Both castles were very interesting and perfect for photos and feeling caught up in the very different Romanian culture.Full day trip

Toni was a wonderful guide and came prepared to provide the best overview of his city and country in the time he had with us. Because we were doing a tour of the Parliament right after his tour, Toni reversed his tour and started at the Atheneum, walking us down Victory Boulevard and into Old Town. Along the way, he explained royal Romanian history through Ceaușescu and the Soviets, giving an impartial view. And he brought video of Ceaușescu's last speech and the storming of his office to put things in perspective. He also spoke of his personal recollections as a child in those last years of Soviets reign. But the tour also focused on the regeneration of Bucharest in the past 30+ years and life today. I highly recommend Toni and this tour.Terrific overview of Bucharest/Romania

Half day tour of Bucharest and castles of Transylvania We booked 2 tours with Mr. Tripp, in English. On our first day, we toured Bucharest fort the first time. Our guide, Roberto, was very friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. He drove us around in a van, and we were the only 2 lucky tourists for him that day. We met up with business associates the next day and they were impressed at all the knowledge we had already gained. We toured the Village museum, which was very interesting, Old town, revolutionary square, and drove by many, many more museums, buildings and important sights. Roberto was our guide for a 4 hour approx. Bucharest city tour. Was very informative, took us to the old town, village museum, palace of parlament (from outside), the revolution square, some church's etc.. 35 eur pp, 31 for student. We finished earlier than 4 hours, and we had a 35 minute break inside the village museum (I would GLADLY skip this break and earn more from the trip) he showed us a few restaurants with 'secret' terraces and was geuninely a great guideHalf day tour of Bucharest

The tour with Mr Tripp was excellent from start to finish. First time with a guide. Corina had a positive energy, was well spoken, and kept the tour moving. Her history talks sketched much of Romanian history so each location could be fit into the story as we walked. Corina was willing to learn about us without being intrusive. Nice touch was her sitting down with us for a quick list of Romanian restaurants and a ranked list of recommended sights to see. Only down side is my choice of three hour tour on sidewalks and streets was hard on our feet.Would book her again

Andreea m'a réellement fait découvrir l'éclectisme, que je ne soupçonnais pas, de Bucarest. Architecture baroque, art déco, néoclassique, immeubles haussmaniens, bâtiments modernes mais aussi en ruine, verrues soviétiques se mélangent comme nulle part ailleurs. Andreea was very knowledgeable and was very sweet, kind and soft-spoken. Doing the tour in a busy Saturday evening with lots of atmosphere and noise made it difficult to hear Andreea many times with her accent and soft spoken voice. She was approached by others and very kind to hear their stories about the palace/museum while we waited. We only had a couple of hours to see the city and we contacted this tour last minute. We were lucky to have been paired with Alina.
