She shared fascinating stories and insights that brought the town to life, and she knew all the best local food spots—places we never would have found on our own. The tour was the perfect mix of delicious food, historical context, and leisurely walking through the beautiful streets of Cascais. Every stop felt thoughtfully chosen, and Constança made the entire experience feel personal and engaging. She also offers tours in Sintra, and after such a great experience, my husband and I are already planning to join her for that next time I’m in Portugal. We loved our walking food tour with Constanca in Cascais. We saw so much of the town with interesting commentary and our food tour was customized to our food preferences. We loved joining a local street based restaurant for pre St Anthony’s day celebrations. Information was interesting and recommendations for future dining and visits was welcomed. A great tour that was great to do early in our stay so we were familiar with parts of Cascais. We even got the recipe for one of our favourite dishes. Constança was absolutely great! We booked a food tour with her and she was super accommodating as we had our 9 month old and 3 year old. We have been in Portugal for a week already so we had eaten most of the popular dishes so we were happy to try new and VERY tasty options. We have used With Locals in Budapest and had a great experience, this was not the same in Cascais. Our first tour guide cancelled and we were passed to Julia. We were concerned as there was a review where she had not shown up. I had messaged Julia, she was slow to reply but did respond, so wasn’t immediately concerned. I followed up again 48 hours before our appointment to confirm meeting location but no response. I called and messaged the following day and I eventually got a message from Julia to say she was cancelling on us. This was a birthday treat for our friend which Julia was aware of. Julia in her message said we had to organise our own refund and she would recommend restaurants! Julia then didn’t bother to do that! Awful, do not use! How do we get our money back? Terrible! Do not book with Julia!

Our hidden gems tour with Arthur was truly a gem. Author was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us the "must see sights" as well as some interesting locations that we would have never found on our own. He shared history, folklore and even tips on how to best navigate the city. He showed us the best photo spots, the best views and off the beat and path restaurants (He even walked us over to a local restaurant and spoke to the owner to ensure we had a dinner reservation later that evening. We absolutely loved our dining experience with Antonio! Antonio was extremely warm, thoughtful, caring and gracious. We have three children with vey different personalities and he was easily able to connect with all of them! The evening was full of stories and we were amazed at how easy he made it for us to capture the feel of Lisbon. He even gave us tips on where to buy authentic souvenirs and even Wattsapped us later to guide us for our trip the next day to Porto. Constança was an excellent tour guide. She took us, a family of 4 (2 teenagers, one a reluctant walker) around Cascais. It's a great way to enjoy the architecture of the place and find out lots of information. If you've never been to Cascais I would recommend this. If you've been before and are interested in architecture and history it is interesting. Great way to get barings.

We were not looking for a group tour with the person with a flag leading. Lovely walk around Caiscais - like taking a walk with a friend; just us. Antonio was a wonderful tour guide for our food tour! He was pleasant and easy to chat with, while providing a nice selection of foods at 4 different locations. Being with him in the restaurants was like being with a friend — he answered our questions, provided information about each dish, and even went out of his way to order an extra small taste of an item that we were curious about. It was nice to be treated like a local at the restaurants because we were with him, especially at one of the restaurants where the staff came over and welcomed us as if we were old friends. We learned a lot about Portuguese food, and we ate lots! Definitely come hungry! You will not be disappointed!Great tour!
