Our group of colleagues had a very nice walk around the central districts of Copenhagen with Claudio as our guide. He was very knowledgeable and told us a lot of interesting and fun facts both about food but also the history of the city. We tasted traditional food like smørrebrød og pølse i brød but there was also non-alcoholic sparkling wine tasting and a nice candy factory along our way. We enjoyed both the food and Claudio's guiding a lot and recommend this to others!Fantastic food and culture walk!

Monica is a great person, really friendly and good with kids, but the cost of the trip is out of proportion. We were a group of 11 and could have bought the food offered on the trip for like 30-40% of the cost, which would have been fine if we would have gotten a special, curated eating experience - but rather we just got taken to the food market at Torvehallerne. So, better save yourself ~500DKK per person and go straight to the food market yourself (great for smorrebrod not for herring or meatballs, but convenient as everything is in 1 place)Not worth the cost

We had a great afternoon with Fabrine. As well as being very entertaining, Fabrine was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the great food we tried. We sampled lots of wonderful traditional foods and Fabrine looked after us beautifully, even bringing a table cloth for our treats in the market. Fabrine's knowledge on the fascinating hidden gems of Copenhagen would never let you guess that she isn't a native local. In fact, she has probably explored and studied the nooks and corners of the city more than most locals have - which is a great asset for a Highlights and Hidden Gems tour. She also introduced us to some great Danish food - we particularly loved the scrumptiously fresh smørrebrød (Danish open-faced sandwiches) and delicious fiskefrikadeller (fish cakes) that we tried. We were a party of four and had arranged a private tour. It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful tour with Monica. We hit the highlights of Copenhagen and then some. While we were concentrated on food, with an opening bite at the bakery, we had the benefit of an insider who showed us a few of the other cultural and historic sights of the city. Monica was fun, entertaining and knows her food “stuff”. The hot dog was a plus—all organic—and delicious. She is an experienced guide and has a lot to offer her clients besides just food. Our tour was fantastic, Grazi was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Copenhagen, particularly about the history of the city. She took us to some great places that we wouldn’t have known existed. Enjoyed our tour with Fabrine who was chatty and well informed. Lots to taste on the tour, although we would have preferred to start savoury and finish sweet. Best stop was at Le Pave where we had open sandwiches and beer. Not so sure about the fried pancakes and pastries which felt a little less special. Food market was great but it means a lot came at once so the end of the tour felt rushed.Fabrine is lovely…!

Wow. What a fun afternoon. We spent about 3 hours with Fabrine walking (and talking!) around Copenhagen really soaking in the culture of the city. And ate and drank a ton! Pace yourself - You will get full! Some stops were in "touristy". areas but some were not - either way - the food was always great. If you are looking for a more intimate experience with a local to understand how the local food and the culture mesh, this may be the tour for you! We had a wonderful tour with Claudio. He brought the history of Copenhagen to life with stories related to the foods cherished most by the people who live here. All of the foods we tasted were delicious; it was impossible to decide which food we liked best. Claudio even sent a recipe for the meatballs that we enjoyed after the tour of was over. We visited areas of Copenhagen that are away from the more popular areas of town, meeting restaurant and shop owners that have been in business for decades. Our food tour with Claudio was a super experience. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city, the food and the Danish way of life. From the moment we met her, it was clear that Grazi had an incredible depth of historical knowledge about Copenhagen. Fabrine was a wonderful guide and was able to take us to a number of great places that I had not been to before. She has good relationships with all the vendors we visited and her knowledge of food and Danish history really made the tour very enjoyable. Because our tour was in the afternoon she stopped by the bakery before our tour to make sure we got all the key pastries before they were sold out. I would suggest being hungry before starting the tour, my husband and I couldn’t eat everything and luckily were able to take the things we couldn’t eat back home with us to have for later. I have only done one of these but I can guarantee Claudio is the best. We had a great food tasting experience. We got a lot of history of the food as well as Denmark. I traveled to Copenhagen with my two teenage children and Claudio was our guide for The 10 Tastings of Copenhagen. It was a wonderful experience! Claudio modified the tour so that my teenagers could also have a great time. He even modified the start location for the tour so it was closer to our hotel. He took us around the city and told many stories about the history of both Copenhagen and Denmark, including many stories about the food history. We have used guides on all seven continents and Claudio is among the best! He has a very “hygge” (comfortable and joyful) manner that is engaging. Altho the tour was about the food, Claudio mapped out an itinerary that progresses in a way not only to please the palate, but also to inform his guests with anecdotes that reveal key historical events and commentary on life in Denmark. The day starts with the traditional and builds to the new which makes it special and not just a smattering of dishes with no coherent order. We had a wonderful food tasting experience with Claudio! Claudio has an obvious passion for food and Denmark which made for a very interesting experience. He selected traditional Danish foods and drinks and interspersed the tastings with historical facts which was a perfect combination. A couple of spots that we went to are very well known historical places and are known to sell out early but Claudio had called ahead and pre ordered so we were not disappointed! We noticed other large tour groups arrive and left empty handed! We ate foods that were delicious but that we would never have thought to eat if we were ordering on our own. Fabrine gave me an opportunity to try a nice variety of authentic Danish foods which were found in areas not frequented by tourists. We started with the best local hotdog. We loved our walking tour with Claudio, it ranked as one of the best food tours we've ever taken. Claudio provided a good mix of a historical walking tour of the area combined with how the food played into that history. We went to so many spots that are not your usual tourist stops so we likely never would have tried them on our own. We were happy that many of the foods were very local and typical Danish foods so we could get an idea of what the local culture is about. We had a mix of savory and sweet foods. Grazi, was wonderful!! It was not just an amazing food tour….it was a tour with food! Grazi took us all over and showed us many areas of the city. There was plenty of food. If you enjoy exploring a new city with a local, look no further. Grazi went out of her way to make sure we got to experience the best that Copenhagen had to offer, and personalized the tour based on what we had already done, as we had been in the city for a few days. She also had loads of interesting facts about the history, and made use of the rainy weather (less people!) by taking us to places that were swamped on a sunnier day.
