As an art historian, Ana has an in-depth knowledge that really unlocks the places for you, and she shares the information in a very accessible and engaging way. I had a fantastic experience visiting the Alhambra, the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel and the St Jerome Monastero: Ana made each of these places come alive - I learned so many things that really enhanced my visit in Granada! Tour la Alhambra with an Art Historian – What Better Experience! Ana gave us an amazing tour of la Alhambra. There is no shortage of things to see or ground to cover. In 4 hours, though, Ana was able to take us to all of the main sights (Gardens, Summer palace, Nasrid Palaces, Charles V Palace, and the Alcazaba) without any of it ever feeling rushed. She was able to give us a wealth of information about the art, the history, and the art history. She was also deft at helping us avoid the crowds – which is no small feat in la Alhambra. Being an art historian herself – and a bit of a historian too, we suspect – Ana was able to make the history and the art come alive. We highly recommend Alicia for your introductory exploration of Grenada. She was enthusiastic and engaging throughout. Our group of 6 loved exploring the Alhambra palace with Ana. Ana was so informative and interesting. We all loved learning the history of Granada and also some really good recommendations of places to eat and things to do like the flamenco dancing. The Alhambra is exquisite and having someone who can share stories, context, and things to look out for makes the experience so much better. Ana is a mine of information and explains things beautifully. We were a varied family group ranging from granny (90) to grandchildren (7).
