We highly recommend this food tour. We did the tour with Aleksandra and she was excellent. She really knew the history of the food and the area. She took us to multiple places with absolutely delicious food. And the stories that she told to go along with the food and the vodka tasting really brought everything to life. Aleksandra is an incredibly knowledgeable guide who shared so much interesting information about Polish modern history, traditions and food culture. She took us to three different places - the first was for "starters" and vodka, the second was for the main meal (a very traditional one similar to what my Polish father would make) and we finished with a lovely cream cake at a small shop that brings the cake in daily from Pope John Paul II hometown nearby. Perfect amount of food, diverse settings and a delightful host. A Polish dinner in three restaurants

We had the food tour with Alessandra on our first full day in Krakow. She was full of key information of Polish cuisine and stories about the Polish culture, including how Poles hold their thumbs as an expression of hoping for good luck. And what good luck we had with Alexsandra as our guide! She was thoughtful to take into account a gluten intolerance of one of us, and she made each one of us feel specially included. This is the first tour anyone visiting should do. Avoid airport food on the way. You will need the room to be able to enjoy all the generous portions provided. Aleksandra is amazing. She will let you know the cultural significance of each dish along with the history of the region. We only had a couple days in Krakow and love Polish food. Aleksandra brought us around the old town and fed us delicious food and gave us a lot of history. She was fun and open to conversation about everything! She answered all questions and was very personable, something you would never find on a large tour. Our family of 7 had the best time with Aleksandra on our food tour. She was extremely informative and it was obvious that she knew what she was doing. She was very accommodating (our 3 yr old toddler was with us), and answered all of our questions. Her food choices were delicious. Sehr guter Guide. Wir hatten die Food Tour sofort am Anfang. Tomasz gab uns zusätzlich viele Informationen zu Krakau. Absolut empfehlenswert. Danach hat er uns noch Restaurants empfohlen und uns sogar ein Tipp gegeben wie wir bei einer anderen Tour richtig viel sparen konnten. Super!Super Guide! Unbeding am Anfang machen.

We had a great time on our tour with Tomasz in Krakow. We had asked Tomasz if we could combine food tasting with history on our walking tour of the Old Town area since we only had a couple of days in Krakow, and he did such a good job - it was perfect! He was super-knowledgeable about the history of the area, sharing lots of fun facts, stories, answering questions - he even has a laminated binder to help with the tour! And then he also had wonderful connections for food tastings and had organized everything ahead of time with the lunch restaurant so that we got to try many of the regions food highlights during our time with him from snacks to savories to desserts, including the history/significance for many of the foods! We would highly recommend working with Tomasz!Tomasz is a fabulous guide

We had a very nice tour with Tomaz. We walked around in Old Town and got history on our way between the different places we tasted local food. Drinks only at one place included. Two shots of vodka. Don’t use this company!!! Seriously a waste of time. Bad value for the money (actually, I would not do this again, even if it was for free. We could do this far better ourselfs). Our guide was uninspiring, seemed like a robot, definitely not possible to connect with. Little food, touristy, nothing new. Thomasz is far from a “foodie”. We made it clear that we were very interested in food and drinks. We chose “with locals” to experience Polish food and drinks, away from touristy areas. Hoping to find hidden gems, and exciting food. We chose this private tour hoping it would be possible to come with wishes to the tour and being able to influence the tour. Tomasz had his whole tour around the main square! We visited places where there were mostly tourists. We made it clear from the beginning that we had already tried the food he introduced us to, and maybe make some changes. He stuck 100% to his “program”. There was little food. We shared everything. For what he called lunch, he ordered us a soup and dumplings to share. We told him we had already tasted dumpling/pierogi with this filling, but still he insisted on ordering the same ones as we had had the day before. I asked which soup he had ordered, again I informed him that we had already tasted this soup. I really expected him to change the order, but he would not. Also, there was nothing to drink! When I asked the waiter for water, he got stressed and told us this was not included in the price. So, what did we get to drink during this 3 hour tour? 1 small shot of vodka!! (which he told us was supposed to be served with herring, but we got cucumbers…). This is not tasting local DRINKS (plural). Also, he just sat there watching us eat…, felt very uncomfortable. I had to buy him a drink. Cheap food, expensive tour, touristy and a boring guide. A total waste of time! Touristy!

Tomasz did a great job. He is very knowledgeable, patient and speaks English fluently. The foods we tasted were amazing (not giving any spoilers) but you definitely do not want to eat before going on the tour. We considered the tour a "walking dinner" and were very full at the end. We had a wonderful time on our food tour with Tomaz. We found some local bars and restaurants for some vodka, pickled herring, Pierogi, soup, polish pizza and the famous Pope cake. We were so full and ready for a relax after. Tomaz was very friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was a problem. We took a food tour of Kraków with tomasz as our guide-what a great way to see the city!
