Eleonora led a group of 5 of us. She was warm , made us feel welcome and arranged delicious tastings and great information about Lecce. A special treat was hearing Eleonora sing a traditional tune. She provided important information on the olive tree disease and most interesting insights into the flow on effects of this tragedy. We would highly recommend Eleonora.

Francesca was an absolute awesome tourguide who even gave us a lot of tips before our actual tour. We were spoiled with the most delicious apulian pastries, food and wine... and gelato! But not only was the tasting-part just mindblowing, we got to know so many stories of Lecce, from history to legends and local myths and everyday life. It was such a great mix of everything and we could talk about everything that interesse us with Francesca. Eleonora contacted me to ask if we wanted to start the tour early, which was fine with us. We had booked a food tour with her, but she also explained about the history of Lecce, she was clearly very knowledgeable. The food was fantastic and we were all stuffed by the end. We went to lots of different spots to sample local food and she explained about the history of it too. Overall this was a great tour which I would recommend to anyone.Great tour

Francesca was our fantastic tour guide! She agreed to host 12 adults (which was a lot) and did a fabulous job! We learned a lot about the beautiful city of Lecce. Along the way we sampled several local treats. We were so full towards the end that some of us had to decline the final tasting. We are staying on in the Puglia area for a couple of more weeks and will definitely be back to Lecce because of Francesca! Brava Francesca!Amazing tour

We zijn door Francesca meegenomen in Lecce. Gestart met een heerlijk caffe leccese en een pasticcioto. Daarna door de stad en onder andere streetfood geproefd, buratta, glaasje wijn. Ondertussen veel gehoord over de geschiedenis van Lecce, de gewoontes en veel tips over plekken waar we wat kunnen eten of drinken. Eleanora met us by the Cathedral in Lecce and started by telling us a little about the history of the area including the invasions from the Ottoman Empire to the Greeks, Romans and Normans which helped us understand the history of the local culture and foods. Then we began a wonderful private and personal tour of the city tasting specialities like Don Antonio olive oil and traditional snacks like taralli. Our tour lasted 3 hours and ended with a ‘caffe leccesse’ which is an iced coffee with almond milk and traditional pastries Pasticciotto which are filled with an indulgent egg custard. We cannot recommend Eleanora more highly. She was a fount of information and made sure we had a great time. Excellent tasting tour of Lecce

Eleanora is a bright, bubbly, professional and passionate guide for all things Leccese. The food tour we took with her was as great as we had imagined. We had previously done a Kickstart Lecce tour with her, so we knew that we were in expert hands. We had at least 10 generous tastes of typical Leccese foods. All were delicious! Do not have breakfast before taking this tour! Eleanora explained all the different foods - names, historical origins, recipes and more, interspersed with historical detail about Lecce, and all the different groups that had controlled it from time to time. One of our group members tripped and fell - breaking her wrist. Eleanora has first aid training and supported our friend while she recovered somewhat. Eleanora provided the address of an X-ray clinic, and subsequently followed up a number of times and also the next day. The tour continued eventually and ended up with Leccese coffee and pastries. A great day apart from the accident. We highly recommend Eleanora. Loved ‘Tastes of Lecce’ with Eleanora 👏👏

Unfortunately we chose a very hot afternoon for our city tour of Lecce with Eleanor’s, but this did not dampen her enthusiasm and her wealth of knowledge. She was very sympathetic to our needs and showed us the most iconic sites, explaining the history with humour and detail. 10/10- My husband and I have done walking tours around the world. Clotilde's is one of the best we've ever encountered. She is funny, smart, interactive, personable AND incredibly knowledgeable. Une visite guidée super dans Lecce qui vous plonge dans le passé de cette ville au passé chargé d’histoire. Nous sommes passés devant des monuments plusieurs fois seuls avec mon mari à côté de détails historiques importants sans s’en rendre compte et lorsque Francesca nous a accompagné elle nous a fourni des informations clés pour comprendre et entrer dans l’histoire ! Il est important de faire ce tour en début de séjour afin de pouvoir revenir sur des monuments incontournables et ne pas manquer de temps en fin de séjour !
