We did the street food tour with Lhoussaine. Our tour was adjusted instead of private it was in a group. We were informed about this in time. It was a great guide who really let us enjoy the tasty things in Marrakesh. Super friendly and nothing was too much. Even more information about other things you wanted to know. We did this tour upon arrival so that we immediately got a view of the immense city. I can only recommend it. Really a topper!!! If I could give him 11 out of 10 I would!!!! This tour with Lhou and Mohammed was amazing! These two guys love their city, know so much about it and passionate about showing it to its guests! From the moment we met Ouidad we knew we were in very good hands. She is an amazing lady with a true passion for this amazing city. We were on a food tour but every moment was an experience we learnt so so much about the city, its culture and its people. We ate amazing foods but felt so full we were concerned about food waste but were reassured that all food would be repurposed and would find a good home. Juice to amazing sweet treats to olives to crepes to amazing lamb and much more. We also took in argon oils and similar. We had a fantastic food tour with our local guide Adil. There was so much food on the tour we needed a lie down in the afternoon! Plenty of stops for authentic sweet and savoury snacks and a tasty chicken tagine at the end. It was also good visiting a local market to see the range of food, spices and craft goods for sale. Adil was such a friendly and knowledgeable guide and it was lovely to hear about his background and family. Omar was an interesting and informative guide, who showed us parts of the Medina that we wouldn't have found, and gave us the confidence to return and explore by ourselves. However, he rushed us through the souks and seemed frustrated when we stopped to take in the sights and atmosphere. We were 20 minutes late meeting him due to our bus being late, but I had forewarned him that this may happen. His food choices were not the best for us sadly. Firstly we had a delicious savoury msemmen and herbal tea cooked by a wonderful lady, but the main five tastes at the next venue were greasy, cold and totally unappetising. We were then rushed on to share a mere six tiny sweet treats between four of us. We declined the soup offer after that☹️ The herbalist was good fun and entertaining, so all was not lost!memorable experience

From the very beginning, Elhoussaine was warm, knowledgeable, and incredibly passionate about sharing the city's rich culinary culture. He took us through hidden alleyways and vibrant markets we would have never found on our own, introducing us to delicious street food, traditional Moroccan dishes, and even some sweet treats to finish it off. My family, 2 adults and 2 kids (ages 12 and 9), just finished a day of touring and tasting our way through Marrakech with Adil. We simply could not have had a better experience! We wanted a combination of sights and tastings, and so we worked with Adil and booked 2 tours back to back: 10 tastings and Highlights and Hidden Gems. The foods that he had selected for us were simply delicious. Flavourful and plentiful, by the end we couldn’t even finish some of it, we were so full! I’m glad that we booked both tours together, because it gave us a little chance to digest between some of the tastings, and he added really helpful commentary to the sights we saw. I’d highly recommend Elhoussaine’s tour - and I just wish we’d booked it for the first day of our holiday as it was the perfect way to discover hidden bits of the old town. Elhoussaine took us to see the local areas beyond the obvious tourist streets. We tried food we wouldn’t have been brave enough to taste (sheep’s head etc) on our own, and ventured into cafes we’d just have walked past. We loved it all. But even more than the food we enjoyed an adventure with a charming, friendly, interesting guide. Elhoussaine shared personal stories and facts about Morocco and its people, history and culture as we walked. He was so kind in bringing a gluten free pancake for my husband so he didn’t miss out on anything, and he made sure we were all happy and engaged throughout. A very memorable and enjoyable few hours. We had an fantastic three-hour city tour through Marrakesh in the evening. Our guide led us through the lively streets, hidden alleys, bustling souks, and vibrant market squares of the city. What made the experience truly special was how connected our guide was with the people and places around us. It felt like he knew everyone in the city! What can I say? 10/10 experience. Omar is not only savvy and knowledgable about the local food in Marrakesh, he also navigates the city like he designed it. I wish I could remember the names of the street food we tried during the tour but I'll leave that to you to find out. Top tip: A dried fish sandwich with all sorts of extras and sauces on top. I melted and went to food heaven. Omar also taught us a lot about conventions and traditions in Morocco, which we found not only interesting but also helpful. His English is impeccable, I think he's some sort of secret language wizzard. Anyways - book him, you won't regret it. I will keep his contact so next time we can do another one of the tours together. Fantastic food tour!

We booked a sightseeing and a food tasting tour with Jafaar back to back - asking him to combine them so we got some food between seeing the sites. But it was Eid and almost everything was closed. But he suggested we start in the afternoon on the first day of Eid and we were able to see a number of sites. Then we regrouped the next day to finish up when more things were open. He was able to give us the best experience despite the obstacles of the holiday. And his explanation of the history for the sites was very impressive and really brought things to life!Fabulous tours! This was our second tour with Adil during our trip. We met outside of the madina and Adil took us to places we would never have visited or would of found if we were on our own. Booked a tour with withlocals but our selected guide was changed a few days before the tour. No issue and so glad as Aimad was absolutely perfect for our visit around the tastes of Marrakech. We were a family of 5 with 3 grown up children and all really enjoyed the tour. Aimads knowledge and understanding of not only the food but all things from history and culture to religion and the way of life was amazing - such a great way to see many parts of Marrakech that we simply would have missed; you can tell he is very much a man who loves this city and all that it has to offer. With our family ( 3 generations) we made this wonderfull tour in Marrakech. It was a tour with a local but also between locals. We visited the places where locals eat so we were very happy to discover that. Adil took very good care of us, asked about food allergies or preferences of meat. Adil was very enthousiastic and talked about the food but also about Marrocans and their habbits, history.. and much more.
