Roberto was an absolute PLEASURE! He took extra time to tell us about the history of Napoli as well as interesting and fun “nuggets” of knowledge that enhanced our experience. The food was off the charts amazing, especially the fresh seafood, the Ragu, the buffalo cheese, the fried everything and of course, the Margarita Pizza. A plus plus plus!!! Nino was a fantastic guide and gave a dollop of history and a full serving of food. He took us to several places that we wouldn't have found on our own and, as another reviewer said, took us to a place with the easily best mozzarella we've ever had. We also learned a lot about Neapolitan cuisine. I can't recommend it highly enough; you'll really enjoy your time walking, talking, and eating with Nino as your guide!The best food tour we've ever been on!

We had a great experience on the 10 Tastings of Napoli tour with Gennaro! He was a gracious and enthusiastic host, truly passionate about his hometown and excited to share it with our family. Gennaro was patient, kind, and had a great sense of humor, which made the tour both fun and engaging-especially in the heat with a 14yr old boy!! There is a lot of delicious food. The food tour was great however we had a difficult situation arise. One of the guys in our group was not feeling well and found it difficult to walk. Frederica’s husband was our guide and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We went to a few spots and when it became evident that one gentleman couldn’t handle the whaling he brought all the food tour us so we didn’t miss anything. Our family of four had a wonderful tour with Roberto. We were running late because of a mixup with our driver, and Roberto waited patiently and did not make us feel rushed through our tour at all. Gennaro is one of the best tour guides I've ever had. He is passionate, friendly, kind, entertaining and knowledgeable. We were in Naples for only one day and wanted to get a feel for the city and experience the great food available. Roberto’s food tour was the perfect way to sample the wide range of street food available. We were only in Napoli for one night and this was a fantastic way to see some interesting sights, learn about the history of the city and sample some amazing food and drink in 3hrs. Roberto is so knowledgeable and is clearly a local celebrity. We tried authentic pizza, fried fish, ragu, buffalo mozzarella, rum baba and more. We did a 3 hr food tour with Roberto “ The Pizza Lover” - we had a group of 6 and Roberto aced it. He knows his stuff and has great contacts throughout the city. He has a very casual style and made the tour easy going. Roberto wasn’t a clock watcher - he enjoyed engaging in dialogue along the way sharing his experiences and leaning from us. What a fantastic tour. Gennaro is warm, genuine, knowledgeable, funny and engaging. He loves sharing his hometown of Napoli, not as a tour, but rather an experience. I felt like walking through a new town with a dear friend, whom we knew only for a few hours. The 3-hour tour flew by as we sampled some of Napoli’s famous foods… mozzarella, cuoppo, taralli, pasta, sfogliatelle, limoncello, espresso and, of course, pizza. Tge food on its own was spectacular, but Gennaro made this a truly special experience. One I will remember for and Cheri’s for the rest of my life. Thank you Gennaro. Roberto - met our party of 6 on time & led us through the streets of Naples describing the local culture & explaining the the food origins. Where do I start? Nino was an amazing tour guide. We picked him because in his bio he said he was a foodie and boy did he deliver. Naples was a busy city with tons of places to eat. Nino took us to all the small places we would have never stopped in. We ate the best “Real” Italian mozzarella of our lives. Not sure I will ever see mozzarella the same again after eating such an amazing cheese. There is so much more I could say but this review would be pages long. We wanted to do a private food tour in Naples and after reading reviews online we went with Gennaro for the 10 Tastings and we were not disappointed! He is knowledgeable with the history of Naples and its authentic foods. He is very patient and very considerate to one of our friends was having some knee issues. Gennaro arranged for Manuela to be our guide as he was unwell. Our tour was fantastic with lots of opportunities to taste delicious local specialties. We loved our time with Gennaro - he is such a warm person with a huge amount of knowledge of not only food in Naples but also its history and culture. We had our 9 year old son on the tour and Gennaro kept him completely engaged (which is a hard thing to do), without ever talking down to him. The food was great and portions were so generous that we couldn’t eat for the rest of the day. We would highly recommend Gennaro’s tours to others. One of our favourite days in Italy

This is an excellent tour to take while visiting Naples. Donatello is excellent and also gave us some good highlights of key buildings and history while we ate our way down the streets of Naples. The food choices are ideal for walking and talking and we certainly couldn’t eat it all. Plan to go back to some spots for the things we couldn’t devour since we were full. Best time was 12:30 to start the tour. Later would likely be busier and that gave us time to rest and go back out later. Thanks again!! Explore the best street food of Naples!

Our afternoon with Gennaro was exceptional! First, we were so thankful that he thought to contact us a few days before the tour to see if we had flexibility in our schedule. Given that we booked in the off season and on a Sunday, certain things may have been closed later in the day and he suggested, if possible to meet earlier. A very thoughtful gesture. Gennaro was easy to communicate with and quick to get back to us. He was passionate and knowledgeable about the neighbourhoods we walked through, the history of Naples and, of course, the food!
