My family of 5 recently had a food tasting tour of Saint-Germain with our tour guide, Alpha. There was a slight hiccup with the meeting time so our tour started an hour late, but once it began, Alpha was a very gracious guide. She took us to many local establishments in Saint-Germain to sample classic French foods such as macarons, escargots, chocolate, cheeses, pastries and wine. We did not need to eat dinner after the tour, that's for sure. In fact, we went to places that I had on my Paris wish list (such as Le Bon Marche) so I was able to check a few off my list early. We had the best time with Gelsomina and discovering St. Germain! It is now our favorite spot in Paris and we can’t wait to go back. She was extremely knowledgeable and basically gave us a food and history tour. She was patient with questions and we felt like she was a part of our family for the day. Paolo was easy going and very informative. Our tour was about getting a small taste of Paris. We were so impressed that Paolo not only took us to the expected places to taste macaroons, chocolates, wine and charcuterie but also to some other less known delights of Paris such as species, olive oils, jams and my favourite meringues topped with chocolate. On top of this we received commentary of the architecture and history of Paris. Paolo was also great in helping plan our others activities to ensure we got the best out of our day. The tour was a Father’s Day gift for my husband and he had a very memorable day, thank you so much Paolo.

We had such an amazing afternoon with Anukool. We tasted so many delicious French foods, from sweet pastries to quiche and crepes to chocolate mousse. Anukool was a wonderful guide. He took us to try many different types of food and fed us really well. We were so full we had to take some of the deserts back to the hotel to eat later. Anu was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable of the areas he took us to, considering he lived there, that was easy for him. Anu gave us a lot of history as well was we walked the streets with other locals in the heart of Paris. We stopped at many eateries of all kinds. From chocolate makers to charcuteries, everything was a new flavor for us to enjoy. The stroll through gorgeous parks and buildings was a real treat too. Thank you so much for such a memorable time Anu! This was a highlight of our stay in Paris! Great way to see Paris!

Paolo showed our group of 4 all around St Germain—a lovely neighborhood with lots of history and food options. He gave us an interesting historical overview, and was lots of fun on the tour! Anukool was an awesome guide as he brought us around the neighborhood of St. Germain on a rainy afternoon. He introduced us to many sweets/pastries as well as savory crepes. We also sampled cheeses and meats along with wine. Throughout the tour he showed us St. Sulpice church and the Luxembourg Gardens as well, giving us history and commentary along the way. Thanks to Anukool’s enthusiasm for the city of Paris and its food culture, we started our week there with some great recommendations for what to eat and where to visit. From artisanal chocolate to escargots, he took us to so many smaller, family owned spots in Saint Germain that were not in the least “touristy” but always delicious. Since it was just the two of us, he was able to answer questions about many things in addition to food. The food tour gave three people in my party food poisoning. The only people that got ill were the people that ate the same item on the tour so we know it was the food tour. I would suggest in the future that the restaurants are screen more throughly. I picked this company because I wanted a genuine experience however it still needs to be professional and safe.Good Tour but Bad Outcome

This was a fabulous tour. Be sure to go hungry bc you will have a lot to eat. Gelsomina was charming and knowledgeable. We mentioned we liked oysters and she even added that to our tasting. My sister, myself and our two 16 year olds had a wonderful, relaxed, friendly morning with Gelsomina. We chatted, tried a wide variety of food and walked around the St Germain area. Gelsomina was careful about checking dietary requirements and adjusted for our vegetarian. Portions were very good, don’t eat first! Our 16s both enjoyed the experience very much as did their mums. We just arrived the day of the tour from Canada and we were a bit tired but we really enjoyed Jay’s tour and company. He’s very polite, knowledgeable and you can easily tell how much he loves history as much as we do. He gave us an overview of the area and made us try all kinds of goodies. I’d definitely used this company again and advice booking with Jay. One word of advice, I’d add some kind of a drink to go with the food.Great tour with a great guide.

We had a great time on our tour with Alpha! We tasted sweet patisseries, local seafood appetizers, and ended with a meat and cheese charcuterie tray with wine. She explained cultural traditions and norms involving these tastings. We enjoyed hearing her perspective on French culture in general about all different topics as a local. She was fun and engaging. We booked the 10 Tasting Tour with Paolo and he was lovely! Very engaging, warm, and friendly. He handled my 8 year old daughter well (she has ADHD and was having an off day). He went at our pace which was important given my mom’s mobility limitations. We didn’t get 10 different tastings but what we did get was a great amount and variety, not too stuffed at the end. Great fun and the right anount of food!

I want to say that Alpha was such a great host for our food tour for our family of 3. I messaged Alpha prior to booking and she was very quick to respond to my questions. I wanted to make sure this would be a good fit for us since we took our 8 year old along for the tour. We got such a great taste of Paris with the food tour and Alpha felt like she was part of our family. We really did love each stop and Alpha made sure to get a few things for our daughter like a hot chocolate when we had a stop with pastries and peach juice at a stop where we had the option of wine.
