We had the best time with Lisa. She went above and beyond to manage our family which included one foodie, one vegetarian and one hot and tired baby. Lisa found places that had delicious food, friendly locals, heaps of vege options, and air conditioned spots to break up the heat. We had a really enjoyable food tasting tour with Lisa and I would highly recommend it to anyone spending time on Penang. She took us to a number of places which we wouldn't have been brave enough to try on our own and also gave a good understanding of food on Penang and the people who live there. Both of our children aren't very adventurous when it comes to food but they tried everything and really enjoyed most of it. On the night we also mentioned that we were intrigued about durian and so Lisa incorporated that, which was certainly an experience. We had an amazing time wandering the streets of Penang and tasting great food. Lisa is such a lovely person and genuinely passionate and very knowledgeable about all the dishes and their history. This was by far one of the best ways to experience the real Penang and George Town. Lisa’s culture, food and historical knowledge was so insightful. She was charming, friendly and the best host!! We love food tours and I need to remark that this has been one of the best. Lisa has been very kind the whole tour making sure we all felt confortable with the dishes she was introducing to us. Of all of them Rendang was our favorite but I must say that we had grat amount and variety of dishes, some of them rated in the michelin guide. Vermutlich hätten wir das meiste der Gerichte nicht auf eigene Faust probiert. Um so glücklicher waren wir, dass Lisa uns so abwechslungsreiche Speisen gezeigt und dazu erzählt hat. Mohd Remyzan alias Remy is een visitekaartje voor zijn stad. Het was een fantastische belevenis hoe hij ons meenam op onze foodtour door George Town.
