We had a great tour with Jason. It was our second day in Seoul and the introduction to the market and the different food options really added to the rest of our trip through South Korea. Jason is a one-of-a-kind private tour guide. I was on the lookout for a tour guide with three key qualities: great communication skills, a charming personality, and a wealth of knowledge. He was super responsive to my messages. He really listened to what I wanted to see or do in Seoul. He even made sure his tour itinerary was all about what I wanted to get out of it. With his perfect itinerary, he showed not only professionalism but also a friendly vibe during the tour. He was super easy to talk to, making me feel like I was hanging out with a long-time friend instead of being on a tour. Of course, he still kept his expertise as a tour guide. This tour gave great insights on the food culture of Seoul and it was amazing. Jason took us to the most authentic cultural food stalls and each of them were amazing. We were so full by the end of the day and there was still so much mode to explore.infact my friend was a pure vegetarian so he also suggested great tasty Vegan/Veg food. We tried appetisers, mains and a variety of desserts. To top it he also took is for a local shopping tour around the area the the best shops with best deals. Overall it was an amazing experience. We had a great time with Priscilla. Priscilla was really flexible and accommodating. We are really introverted and Priscilla totally put us at ease. In total we had more than 20 items and were stuffed to the brim. Many of the stalls were stalls we would never dare to try without a local. Come hungry!!!Great time! Really authentic!

I met Priscilla at a Metro station near Namdaemun Market and sampled a wide variety of foods from restaurants, small cafes and street stalls. I tasted many things which I would have been wary about, without her telling me about them. She was knowledgeable, funny, informative and very easy to understand. I would highly recommend her - just make sure you haven’t eaten for a few days beforehand! Her insight into Korean food was very useful in my further travels around Korea and I will definitely be cooking some of the dishes when I get home. Thanks Priscilla, hope to see you on my next trip to Seoul. A must do if in Seoul.

My partner and I booked a private 2 person tour to experience the taste of Seoul. We initially booked on a Sunday, but Jason advised another day as most shops closed Sunday. We enjoyed our tour of the market and had a wonderful experience. The food was excellent and Jason carried the conversation through the experience. We had a really interesting tour with Jason but sadly (?) Jason's tour wasn't for us. It was nice to start with a coffee and chat but we have good coffee in Australia and the chat was a little long. Jason was super knowledgable about Korea in general, and the market we visited, but we thought Jason was thrown by us not being the slightest bit interested in shopping. For a food and drinks tour the food was good but drinks didn't happen apart from the free drinks everyone had with lunch. The sit down lunch was excellent and would have been a great opportunity to be offered a beer. To be honest we'd missed that we were going to the palace and this ended up being a real highlight as the changing of the guard happened while we were there. Overall we enjoyed our time with Jason but for us the value for money wasn't there. Good food but where were the drinks?

My family and I recently joined Priscilla’s street food tour in Seoul, and it was fantastic! We explored local markets, tasting authentic dishes like bibimbap and noodle soup. He offered us lots of options and followed all of our requests, requested large taxis to take us between places when it got cold, and found a vegan restaurant. My husband and I’s food tour with Hailey was a lot of fun. A few days before the tour, she suggested meeting at a different market since the one I originally booked was closed on Sunday evenings. She was also understanding and kind with us being a little late due to delays in our taxi getting to our hotel from the train station. Hailey recommended a lot of great food to try in the market and even got us a table near where the locals were eating in a packed part of the market. She taught us a lot about Korean culture and different foods we can try during our stay in Seoul. After the tour, she also sent me a lot of her favorite restaurants to check out in the city during my stay. Hailey is really nice, down to earth, and knowledgeable. Our group had a wonderful private tour with Sanghee! We explored two contrasting markets and ate delicious food at both, including incredible Michelin * mandu, the best gimbap, tteokbokki, bingsu... and much more! She also helped us purchase T-money cards, and helped us navigate the bus and subway system. She was able to weave in historical context, stories, and cultural relevance while we walked around. She made recommendations for skin care products at an Olive Young pit stop. She helped my mom find local vendors for specific items on her wish list. She was flexible and was able to create the exact day we needed to start off our trip in Korea with the best knowledge, and feeling like we had hit many highlights, making the rest of our days in Seoul more relaxed. We highly recommend Sanghee and would happily sign up for a tour with her again!Perfect day in Seoul!

Priscilla customised the tour to accommodate my 5 year olds. They are picky eaters but thoroughly enjoyed the tour and gamely tried all the food Priscilla bought them. Priscilla was also very patient explaining the food to the children. We were in Korea for 2 weeks and tried a variety of experience but Priscilla’s tour was ranked in the top 3 memorable experience by the children. Amazing with young children

We had a great time eating various food at the market. When it started to rain we got a bus to another market for more food, then a tea house and then bingsu. It was still successful even with the rain. It was the best bingsu. I loved that we had choices of what to eat and could say what we didn’t like. Market tour

Sanghee from the get go was always so attentive, to make sure I got the best experience whilst in Seoul. She enabled me to plan my days effectively with my short space of time. When I had the tour she was always looking after me as I had got off my flight that same day and booked my tour. The tour was incredible, lots of amazing food in homely places and a lovely chilled atmosphere during our tour. Sanghee (Priscilla) was so fun and thoughtful! She found us some great food spots for a family! And we had dietary issues. The kids have peanut/nut allergy, chocolate aversion, and husband does not eat seafood. I was worried how she was going to pull this off with a family like mine with all the dietary restrictions, but she did! Not only did she do an amazing job but she is so pleasant and fun to hang out with, it felt like a family member we were visiting with. Highly recommend! Fun and thoughtful!

We signed up Withlocals for our second experience the previous was Istanbul. This evening was more expensive and less value. Our guide Julian was asked if we could start later which was fine but he failed to tell us the experience still finished at the same time, so his focus seemed to be on keeping us moving. Maybe by necessity of the sites he wanted us to see we started with a very interesting restaurant but probably should have been near the end and maybe we could have finished with a coffee or a drink as the last siteVery local food

We had a great food tour with Sanghee! She was super friendly and told us a lot about Korea culture and how it has been influenced/impacted by America. We had so much food it was crazy but she didn’t rush us and we were able to take a few breaks a long the way so that we could continue to enjoy all the food. The best was the bibimbap at the first stop! Super fresh & authentic…we will probably go back for another round! Make sure you don’t eat lunch because there is so much food! We truly enjoyed Sanghee and she was great with our kids (funny and patient) which made it even better. Highly recommend! The only down side is the overall price is a bit expensive but definitely cheaper than other sites and way more personal. Large family food tour

We spent a very rainy afternoon exploring Namdaemun market with Sanghee, sampling delicious Korean food and treats. Sanghee knows all of the great spots and things to try. I'm still dreaming of the fried chicken which was completely delicious. We loved it so much we went back another day! What started out as a street food tour included so many tid bits and amazing stops that we learned so much more than just “food” in Seoul. Julian was a delight-a native who has traveled the world and is back home. In addition to showing us which food stands were the best for different “snacks”, the historical insights to the country he added provided tremendous color. In addition , when you think of street food, you think of small snacks. This was a feast! By the end of the day we couldn't eat another bite! is a highly recommended tour and if you can, take it with Julian. Street food and hidden gems-terrific day!

Highly recommend Pricilla. She is a gem and a fantastic host. She shared a lot of knowledge that our foodie family of five treasured. She also was incredibly productive during the time allotted in shuffling us to two different markets. And even though the title is 10 foods, there were seemingly 3x that. The list of items we enjoyed included but not limited to: clam noodle soup, japchae, bibimbap, kimchi/pork/red bean dumplings at a sung table, fried rice balls with red bean, fried rice cake with pork, donut kruller, classic fried chicken, organic ice cream, brown sugar pancake, chives/kimchi/potato/mungbean rice pancake, fried oysters, tteok-bokki, rice juice, Terra beer, rice wine, proprietary gochujang and kimchi at most restaurants. It was quite an adventure for us! Definitely would recommend this tour and would do it again during my next visit to Seoul!Customized Authentic Korean Street Food

Priscilla kindly guided my 8 year old daughter and I on an enjoyable evening out and about. She took us to different areas to sample street food, local restaurant dining, ice-cream and a trendy local cafe for coffee/tea to finish. Not for the faint hearted, Sanghee Priscilla will take you on a journey of Seoul culinary experiences that will stay in your memory for many years to come. It rained when we had our food tour but that just added to the atmosphere. In the narrow alleyways of the Seoul Markets, we traversed steep stairways and non descript shop fronts to experience the most wonderful food this city has to offer. Who knew that unfermented kimchi even existed? Made fresh from a fourth generation family recipe, it was sublime. And like all the K-Dramas show, crispy fried chicken with a local beer is a pairing from heaven, and don’t get me started on the dumplings…we cannot highly recommend her enough.A Culinay Treasure Hunt

We go to Korean restaurants regularly where we are from but still tried many things we had not eaten before. Delicious things! In the end we got so full. Great experience. Highly highly recommend.
