Cecilia was our guide for the 10 tastings of Seville tour. We could tell right away that we were in good hands, her friendliness and engaging personality made us comfortable and conversation easy. Cecilia was not only interested in telling us about the Triana neighborhood we were in but also wanted to hear about where we were from. The tour started with some history about Triana and Seville. Then we walked through the Triana market where a variety of fish, meats, vegetables and fruits are sold. From there we made our first stop where we tasted several dishes, potatoes with mayonnaise, aubergine with molasses and lentils with chickpeas. Next was an assortment of hams, sausage, and cheeses. From there we tried a pork sandwich and some squid. Last on the tour was dessert from a pastry shop. All of the places were small local merchants who were happy to host us. We would strongly recommend Cecilia for any tour because ours was wonderful.Triana tastings

Our tour with Cecilia around Triana, Seville was fabulous. Cecilia is a wealth of information on local history, architecture, arts, politics and culinary traditions. Cecilia gave us the kind of tour you hope for but almost never get. It was just me, my wife, and her — no crowds, no umbrellas to follow, just real conversation, some amazing food, and a walk through Seville with someone who actually lives it. We booked the tour during Feria, and instead of sprinting through monuments, we went for a more laid-back vibe: eat some good food, see the city, and get to know our guide a little. Cecilia nailed it. She's passionate, full of stories, thoughtful, and funny — the kind of person who drops knowledge mid-conversation without making it feel like a lecture. Also, she was genuinely surprised to learn we’re grandparents, which we’ll be riding high on for a while. Toward the end of the tour, we happened to walk through a quiet street just as the Feria fireworks finale kicked off. Cecilia led us to the bridge where everyone gathers to watch — an incredible, unexpected moment. Not saying she planned it… but she’s a musician, so we’re guessing her timing was no accident. Bottom line: book her. Unless you’re deeply opposed to great company and cool experiences.Great evening!

we had a really, really good experience with Clara. Her English is absolutely spot on, in fact better than my Scottish !!!! great chat about food, Seville and life in general and some great info on the city too. It was easter week and very busy and Clara had to juggle a stop due to the crowds but everywhere we went was excellent and the food was great too. It was a private tour, just the 3 of us in total and really appreciated the time Clara took with us and there was no hurry or push on time. No reservations at all to recommend Clara, you will have a great time. tasty and chatty....................

Elena provided us with a fantastic food tour experience in Triana. We tried lots of different foods and drinks, and were very full by the end of the tour. Elena also gave a lot of great historical background information on the food and neighborhood. Elena has training in gastronomy/wine, in addition to being born and raised in Seville, making her a fantastic tour guide. The one area for improvement would be around organization. Elena reached out to reschedule our tour the day before, which luckily we were able to accommodate. This tour was the perfect start for our short trip to Sevilla! Jose Andres did a wonderful job of showing us around around town and treating us to a huge number of culinary highlights. We started out in Triana and made our way across the bridge for the full Sevilla experience. The mix between learning about the city’s history and at the same time getting to taste the local cuisine was just what we were hoping for. Jose was such an incredible host! He not only introduced us to local dishes and drinks in traditional bars and restaurants, he also gave us plenty of recommendations for the rest of our trip. I honestly cannot say enough good things about Cecilia and this tour. It was not only a highlight of our trip, but I think a highlight of all of the travel we have ever done. Cecilia is a truly wonderful person and we want her to be part of our family! She is charming, fun, smart, patient, accommodating and an amazing person to know. The tour was fantastic and we ate incredible food (do not eat dinner beforehand because this is a full meal). We had a variety of food restrictions, and somehow she magically made everyone happy. And it wasn't just about food. She gave us a perspective on the culture and history that made us feel completely immersed in the experience. She also recommended and helped us book a fantastic flamenco show in an intimate setting -- perfect for our family. My wife and I met Alvaro in a busy and safe location. He took us through the rich history of the city and shared lots of background about the culture of Sevilla. We hung out at all of the coolest spots with the locals in the community of Triana. He is also very attentive to dietary restrictions when it comes to ordering the food for you. We don’t eat pork, red meat, or dairy (sounds like a lot when you list it out like that) and we are also “texture eaters”.. he took all of that into consideration and was still able to order delicious tapas for us and enjoy with us! We recommend him for your trip! Alvaro is great!

Had such a brilliant time with Jose wandering the streets of Seville eating and drinking delicious things. He picked us up from our accommodation (even though it was off the beaten track) and pointed out places to eat, shop, drink and sightsee in the area, and helped us plan our stay. We had great fun eating and drinking in the old town, trying lots of delicious tapas, beer and wines. He’s hugely passionate about food and drink and really knows some of the best local places to eat as well as everyone in them. Couldn’t recommend him highly enough! Definitely worth doing at the start of your stay so he can give you loads of advice about what to do on your trip. He’s a lovely warm, entertaining host and brilliant company. Álvaro brought us to all the hot spots for food tastings and so far on our trip this was my favorite experience. He not only knows the food and drinks so well but is also a local historian so ask away! He’s full of knowledge and offered us up advice for our following days in Seville.
