We’re a family of five touring the area and had a fantastic evening with Long. When rain showers passed through, Long adapted quickly—he arranged a tuk-tuk that comfortably fit all of us and adjusted the itinerary to include spots with good shelter, ensuring we could still enjoy the incredible street food that Siem Reap has to offer. Our eldest son loved the beef skewers so much that Long surprised him with an extra serving at the final stop, which was a thoughtful touch. My wife and I particularly enjoyed the Fish Amok and Beef Lok Lak—both uniquely Cambodian dishes that Long was clearly proud to share with us. On the ride home, Long made a spontaneous stop to pick up fresh coconuts for the family, which the kids absolutely loved. We have just returned from our 10 tastings of Siem Reap with Dorn. We have been lucky enough to experience food tours around SE Asia and all of them wonderful in their own way. Dorn presented Siem Reap street food the way the locals eat. No Michelin stars. Just hop on a tuk tuk and visit some amazing and challenging street food establishments either in a local restaurant or side of the street vendors. We experienced some amazing tastes. From delicious beef skewers over charcoal and fantastic noodle dishes to challenging our taste buds with eating crickets, silk worms and cicada. Surprisingly, they were really tasty. Dorn is a fantastic host and never pressured us in trying foods that he felt we wouldn't like. He is super friendly and is very knowledgeable about the history and culture of the Siem Reap food scene. We thoroughly recommend this tour.Amazing tastes of Siem Reap.

I looked into multiple tour guides before deciding on Long and I’m so glad all my research led to him because he gave us the best experience in Cambodia! Our food tour was delicious and being Americans he made sure all the food and drinks were safe for our more delicate stomachs. Long is a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about Cambodian history and culture. We learned so much from him! He’s also a very kind person and made sure our entire trip was great including offering help with things my kids might be interested in, where to get an obscure souvenir I wanted, airport transportation, etc - Long was a great resource for everything and I highly recommend reaching out to him for both food tours and custom tours since he is a Cambodian expert!Best of the Best!

My partner and I did the food tour with Long an we cannot rate this experience highly enough! Long chose a great variety of places from sit down redtaurants to street food, introducing us to a whole range of taste experiences. I'm a pesceterian and he had no problems accommodating me. The highlight was the street food on 60th Rd. I will be dreaming of the delicate and delucious fragrances and tastes for a long time; we finished every last morsel! My partner (both 28) and I had a great time with Dorn on our tour which was over Cambodian new year. Many of the normal spots were shut so Dorn took us to a more secluded collection of stops. The food was really good, but moreso Dorn's explanation of the different cuisines and Cambodian influence in food. He then took us round the town for Cambodian new year, to show us how everyone celebrated. It was overall great fun! Thanks Dorn.Great personal experience

Long introduced us to some amazing Khmer food! Banh Mi, Fish Amok, Beef with red ants, some great chive dumplings and much more! Completed with the sweetest coconut water I ever tasted. When he real used some of our group members were willing to be adventurous - he was happy to let us taste crickets and silk worms too! He was so accommodating and helpful too. His English was good and we discussed many topics beyond the food! Would definitely recommend Long for this food tour and other guided tours too😊Amazing food experience with Long!

We have done a number of food tours and this one with Long has been the best one we have done! Long is a genuinely nice guy who is very easy to have conversation with. He can speak excellent English. He took us to a variety of places both in the city (casual and more formal restaurant) as well as a rural street market so that we could experience a broad range of Cambodian food. We did two tours with Ngoun (Lux).. the 10 tasting tour and a city tour. Lux’s English is flawless and he is very knowledgeable about local ciulture and history. The food tour was great.. terrific local places and dishes altered to meet my dietary needs without a problem. Local drinks were missing though. As we had already seen some of the city our tour was modified but Lux still found different places for us to see. Very pleasant trips with informative commentary. Knowledgable friendly guide

Unfortunately we didn't have the best night compared to other food tours we have done with WithLocals. In terms of the tour, we spent long periods at different restaurants waiting for food (up to 30 mins at one stop). Long was very pleasant but it was difficult to make conversation and not the most enthusiastic. My family and I I didn't enjoy Cambodian cuisine compared to others in South East Asia but obviously that is pure personal preference.Uninspiring Tour

This was an incredible experience. We got to go to local spots to eat the best dishes, and local delicacies. Dorn took us to some amazing places to eat. Places where the locals ate and the food was what the locals ate. We were out of our comfort zone as it was so different to what and how we eat as westerners but Dorn made us feel so comfortable and explained everything about the food perfectly. Because of Dorn we were able to have a fully authentic experience while also knowing that everything we ate was safe. Dorns hygiene was impeccable, he carried hand sanitiser for us to use between meals and even made sure our table was clean before we ate. I was on Street 60 and about two-thirds of the way through my street food tour with Long when we were hit by the first heavy rain of the season! The power was cut almost immediately, but even then Long "toughed it out" with me as I finished the dishes that had already been prepared by the lights of our cellphones before calling it an evening (since the power remained off and the rain showed no signs of abating). Even though the main road was flooding by that point, he still managed to find a shop that was open and grabbed me a fresh coconut water on the way back to my room hotel. If I have the chance, I'll definitely return and try the tour again with Long... hopefully without the rainy interruption! Making the best of a rainy situation

We did a private food tour with Long and a single day tour of Angkor Wat. Both were truly excellent experiences! On the food tour, Long took us to many local vendors and we got delicious food that we never would have found otherwise. As we ate and got to see the city, Long told us a lot about Cambodian life and culture. He also had great recommendations for other food spots to try the next day! The morning after the food tour we did a sunrise tour of Angkor Wat. Long gave a great tour of the main temple and also showed us several other smaller but equally cool temples. Long knew a ton of interesting history about the temples and had many great stories. We overall loved both of our tours. They were top quality. Long is also just a great guy and was a lot of fun to hang out with across our two tours. We would highly recommend booking with Long!! Excellent Tour Guide! Great Experience!!

My husband & I took a street food tour with Long on our 1st night in Siem Reap. We met up at the Amazon Cafe. He & the tuk tuk driver took us around to sample beef skewers, picked papaya, fish amok, fried spring rolls, chive noodles, rice flour pancake, among other things I cannot remember. We were so full we could not eat anymore. We saw a night market north of the city that we would never have seen on our own. The best part was learning about how Long's family and life in Cambodia. We were picked up by Lux on time from our hotel, we had 3 stops on our tour. The first 2 were at local restaurants that offered unique Cambodian dishes which were very tasty and unusual. Our 3rd stop was at the local market where we tasted another 6 dishes and some traditional deserts. We had a great experience with Lux explaining lots about the origins of the food and also some information about Siem Reap. Lux speaks English very well and he was very accommodating and super friendly. Authentic experience

On time, very professional, very kind and proud of his country. We had a most enjoyable afternoon walking the streets and markets with Long. He made sure to highlight all the traditional dishes from the area and showed us a lot of local produce and fish in the food market. He was very informative about how the markets work regarding how locals brought in fresh items each day, and how if there was anything remaining at noon the locals bartered with the vendors. Long speaks English well and we had a great time talking about many things over our meals. He always made sure we were comfortable and had the dishes created to each of our own spice level.
