Sena is a lovely professional who knows all the best places to sample great food in Kichijoji. We finished the tour in Inokashira Park, watching the boating on the pond. I worked my way through some of the treats I’d saved but I still had enough left for my evening meal. This is a great introduction to this area and many new delicacies. Along with unique small local shops in the side streets, Sena showed me the bountiful shopping areas within Kichijoji Station. We did the 10 tasting food tour with Sena, It was amazing. We tasted food we didn’t even know about. From fresh Sushi that arrived on what was like a bullet sushi train, to meatballs, curry bread and beautiful sweet treats. We finished in a beautiful park with a drive and some Yakitori. Our tour with Sayuri was awesome! We explored a quiet neighborhood we otherwise wouldn't have stumbled uppon ourselves. Each dish we tried was different and we got to experience popular food stalls frequented by locals. We cannot recommend this tour and Sayuri enough! We had a fantastic tour with Seden. She showed us around a part of Tokyo we wouldn’t have normally visited as tourists, including a beautiful local park. But the highlight was the food. She took us to a range of street stalls and neighbourhood restaurants and helped us understand the different flavours and styles - which helped us make more of the rest of our time in Japan. Our only problem was that the food was so delicious it was hard to save space for all the different tastings - you will definitely not go hungry on this tour. Seden was also full on information and insight from her time in Japan - highly recommended.

We had a wonderful time with Sena! She speaks English very well and did a great job answering our questions and explaining the food and culture of Japan. We took the tour before heading to the airport and had all of our luggage with us. Sena helped us find nearby storage for our luggage as well as navigate the trading routes back to the airport after the tour. None of that was part of the tour but Sena was so kind and helpful. The food tour itself was awesome. Pace yourself! There are so many foods to try! Sena did a great job of introducing us to a wide range of interesting and delicious foods. Sayuri was wonderful. She was kind and really considered our wants and desires in regard to food. There were actually 10 tastings and all were delicious. However, I was hoping for a bit more knowledge about the history and the cultural aspects of the food we were eating. An unexpected spring snow storm slowed the subways but not our fantastic tour of some fine street food. Good natured and knowledgeable, Ai took us for some real treats with the katsu wagyu beef ball being a melt in your mouth highlight. AI’s tour is varied yet efficient, allowing us to cover all sorts of cuisine in three hours. We would highly recommend her tour as a quick, fun, and easy way to experience Tokyo street food and Japanese culture in the process. Neither sleet nor snow could stop our tour

Seden, truly made my family’s food tour memorable. She speaks perfect English and is fluent in both Japanese and the culture. She took the four of us on a food tour of what the locals like to eat versus the more common tourist traps. She also led us through a beautiful night stroll through a park. The walk was needed because to digest between all of the meals. Trust me, you need a huge appetite to finish off all the food. We didn’t even come close! The most unique meal was the hot table but my favourite was the sushi bar because of the setting and chefs omakase. If you love food, this tour is a must!Amazing guide and local food tour!

My wife and I did the street tasting tour and had a great time. Not only did we get to sample several local treats, but Sena also immersed us in local culture. It was fascinating and fun! It also got us out of central Tokyo to a non-touristy neighbourhood with local flavour. Getting there was via an extremely easy-to -navigate train ride from Shinjuku station. Our "10 Tastings of Tokyo" with Sena was all we had hoped for… and more! We couldn’t have been more pleased. With her excellent knowledge and experience in the area, we tasted wonderful and varied foods of Tokyo, from savory to sweet. We even visited a conveyor-belt-style sushi restaurant—high on our list of "must try’s!" Sena speaks very good English and is a delight! We learned a lot about Japanese culture and she even helped us download a SUICA card which has enabled us to easily use the subway, taxis and vending machines and to pay for many other purchases.
