Angelo took us on a fabulous food and history tour that was both interesting and delicious. From the breakfast of Kings, to the revolution inspiring gatherings at coffee houses to the pastures of the Piedamont and their awe inspiring cheeses. We could not have had a better time. My son and I enjoyed a fantastic tour of Turin with Olivier. Olivier is so enthusiastic and his knowledge was unbelievable and certainly knows the history of Turin and this shows in the pride he has for his City. Highly recommend Ten Tastings of Turin with Angelo! It was a fun and refreshing way to get to know the city of Turin which has such a rich history and even richer foods! We appreciated our Angelo thoughtfully planned this tour, orienting us to the geography of Turin and Piedmont and walking us along major streets and through beautiful piazze. We tasted incredible chocolates with vermut, local cheeses and meats along with Nebbiolo wine, and ended with some delicious treats and a macchiato in a traditional Turinese coffee house. You can tell that Angelo takes so much pride in his city and has a real passion for sharing the history, culture and food. We had a great time discovering Torino with Olivier. We were introduced to many authentic cafes, restaurants and historical places in Torino. We started out at one of the classical cafes with a plate of many different cheeses, ham and bread. We were introduced to an aperitif - a special vermouth - which is now this summers aperitif for us. I had a great time with Olivier. He is an experienced guide who took the time to preview options with me prior to the tour. He came prepared with pictures and maps to more fully illustrate his talking points regarding the history of the city. I appreciated the mix of famous and lesser known sites for tastings that offered a a broad perspective. While well prepared, Olivier's presentation style was much more conversational than a rehursed lecture. It was a thoroughly enjoyable time. I also appreciated the "after care" of additional recommendations for foods to try and sites to visit. Personable and Knowledgeable

We had a fantastic tour with Angelo. He shared really interesting insights on history, architecture and Turin. We visited parts of the city away from the normal streets that tourists end up visiting. The tastings were fantastic and really helped us try local specialities that we had not come across before. We really appreciated that as we don’t eat meat that Angelo had arranged that the tastings didn’t include any cuts that they normally would. It was an amazing tour of Turin with Angelo. In a short time of three hours I learned so much about the history, architecture and treasures of this city. The tour was most interesting, informative and highlighted by special moments, discoveries and meetings- like the charming old lady in the yarn shop who gave me a hand-made Christmas gift that I will treasure ❤️ I am asking myself: why have I not visited before? I want to come back already for the art gallery and opera and yet another look at the beautiful buildings and squares.. The super ending to the tour was an apperitivo at the famous delicatessen 🍷 Lots of thanks to Angelo! 🙏🏻 Highly recommended 🥇Simply amazing and very special

Very nice man! Who is really passionate about Turin. He is a great enthusiastic speaker with a lot of interesting stories and historical facts. Only sometimes to much speaking and to little walking, but that could also be due to the limited time we had for the tour. But in the end very nice experience and I would recommend this to others!Passionate tour guide!

Olivier is the perfect multilingual guide and he knows everything, with an iPad he adds to his historical explanations the pictures and examples. It was very easy to communicate with him and have even before the tour, he provided me very good advices. I’ll strongly recommend if you want a French, Italian or English tour. We requested a French city tour and we were with 3 children (12,8,3 years old) and the tour was greatly appreciated by all family senior and kids. Angelo was thorough & efficient AND delightful! From introductions to Fascist architecture to The Savoies to Bicerin (to be consumed with an excavation motion — NEVER stirred!), we couldn’t have spent a better 2.5 hours. I would highly recommend Angelo. Who knew that chocolate was introduced to Italy via an alliance of between the Italians & the Spanish against the French?! Make the most of Turin. Pick Angelo!
