Vlatka was a fantastic tour guide. This was our first day in Croatia and the 10 Tastings of Zagreb was a great way to experience the local cuisine with Vlatka’s insights into the food, her culture whilst walking around Zagreb. Make sure you come with empty stomachs as there is plenty of food and a great selection too! A must do experience in Zagreb

After arriving in Zagreb at 2 pm, we shortly met our guide Tomislav at a location near our hotel. He gave us a little history of Zagreb and Croatia and then immersed us in the local food scene. Some wine, cheese, salumi, and shots at a tiny boutique style wine shop. We next walked around town and explored some of the sites and poked our heads into a local chocolate shop. Of course we had samples. Onward to more neighborhoods and a sit down restaurant with a great charcuterie board and a dish of the famous ‘black risotto’ ….more wine of course. We never felt rushed. And our conversations were always easy. But more to come. Continued exploring more walking streets and a final stop at a local delicacy of ‘strackli’ a baked cheese and pasta dish, served sweet or savory. We had both! And so delicious 😋. Some more walking and talking, and before you knew it, we spent 4 (only supposed to be 3) hours together getting to know a local perspective of Zagreb. Highly recommend Tomislav and his food and city tour. A great introduction to Zagreb

Tihana unfortunately couldn't make it, so her husband Tom took us on the tour. Wow, how amazing this was with tasting all over town, and as an added bonus, we were shown various tourist attractions. Definitely worth attendingAwesome one-of-a-kind experience

Four Canadians spent a wonderful 3 hours with V, strolling through Zagreb, sampling amazing local delights and learning interesting history and facts about the city and local cuisine. Vlatka was a natural and so fun to spend time with. Not only did we get to sample amazing food and learn about it, we learned more about Zagreb and Croatia too. Tomislav was a great host. He took us to a food market, a store where we could try Croatian wine and other local treats, multiple restaurants, and showed us many local sights on the way. We had both deep and frivolous discussions throughout. My husband wanted to buy a book by a Croatian author, so Tomislav took us to a bookstore where his wife had held several selections, one of which we got. So we received a very personalized tour. We had a wonderful day with Vlatka! She is so friendly and personable and it was really great to learn about the culture, history, and food from someone who is so connected the city. There is also something special to having a personalized experience that is more like exploring with a friend than someone talking at you. She was great with our kids as well (18, 14, 12) and it really made us appreciate and enjoy Zagreb so much more. I will say - go hungry! We literally were so full we could hardly eat at the last stop and had to take it to go - and we love to eat. Couldn't recommend more!A must-do!

Vlatka was amazing! She was so warm and hospitable from the start. My wife and I really enjoyed her company and her personalized tour for us made for a great start to our trip to Zagreb. As my wife is pregnant Vlatka adapted the food choices for us and we still managed to get a great sampling of an array of Croatian flavors. My wife was especially happy to taste various items made with truffles. I really enjoyed the stuffed peppers. There was no issue with quantity. Tom is personable, a great resource, lots of fun and extremely responsive. Touring with Tom was like hanging out with a friend. We took our time, pausing to sample local foods and drink along the way. We appreciated the info pack Tom gave us with a map, how to pronounce words in Croatian and excellent dining recommendations. We tried several of his recommendations during our stay and especially loved Vinodol! The next day, we had an amazing wine tasting experience with Dominik at Jagunic thanks to Tom. Tomislav was extraordinarily personable and informative. Never felt rushed to complete the tour.
