Earl was informative and showed us old photos of various landmarks on his iPad, which made places and people come alive. We walked at a medium pace and covered 14km of the city through a variety of suburbs including the Italian area and Chinatown. We stopped for a delicious pork bun, which Earl bought for us. A highlight for us was the walk over Brooklyn Bridge. Magnificent!Great First Visit to NYC!

Laura, was friendly and very knowledgeable. Understanding the history of New York and how the financial industry developed was fascinating. I've been to the 911 site many times and was delighted to discover new pieces of it. Was over all a great tour. The only down points (of course beyond her control) were noisy construction and blocked views. Laura was terrific!

Laura is amazing! Her extensive knowledge allowed her to share many interesting facts about everything we saw. Herfriendly, relaxed, manner made the experience a pleasure. Absolutely riveting tour with Earl there is nothing like a passionate tour guide who wants to share the stories and knowledge he has of this incredible time in New York (and for me , Irish/NY) history . I’ve read the books and seen the movies but to actually walk in the footsteps and touch the walls is something I just had to do and really can’t explain what it meant to me . I had an amazing time on the Lower Manhattan walking tour with 40 Thieves Tours!
