We had an amazing tour with André! Great ride along the waterfront all the way to Belem and back with short stops for stories and some history of Lisbon. We had a fantastic day with Andre. Great e bikes in excellent condition with nice helmets. There’s an excellent bike path along the waterfront. We were glad that we had André to guide us, as there are some tricky transitions. We rode out to the tower of Belem and André pointed out all of the key sites. He has a superb knowledge of history, culture and the ins and outs of Lisbon. He also gave us. Get lunch recommendation. We felt like we learned a lot, got some nice exercise and enjoyed the beauty of the town. On top of it all, he is a really nice and friendly guy. Andre guided my wife and I on an e-bike tour with a stop at a local lunch spot. Andre was very knowledgeable and his love for history and storytelling was a highlight of the trip. We also really enjoyed the local restaurant he selected and he guided us through the menu selecting several items that locals would eat. We would have been less adventurous without his help. I sadly cannot recommend this tour. We had some meats and cheese (unidentified to us the kinds), chorizo, ginjinha, pastel de nata. Nothing was personalized, I asked about shrimp and it was not accommodated. Not as advertised. Better off booking a normal tour for half the cost! Not worth cost

Rodrigo and his sweet dog, Poznan, helped us see an interesting, off the beaten path, part of Lisbon. Quieter, less crowded streets, and some of the history of the city and Portugal in general, that a large group tour could never do. We cannot recommend him more highly. Truly an impressive experience. We were missing our dogs at home, so having Poznan spend the afternoon with us was just extra special. Everyone seemed to know her. Thanks to Rodrigo for bringing Lisbon to life for us. Just an amazing afternoon!

Een nieuwe stad ontdekken met onze kinderen in onze moedertaal. Moesten we gewoon proberen. Wat eek toffe madame is Veerle, we lieten ons meeslepen door de doolhof aan straatjes, stapten mee in haar enthousiasme eb genoten van de view, de weetjes, de leuke winkeltjes, … Veerle weet waar ze mee bezig is, ze kent de stad en geeft haar liefde voor Lissabon en de omliggende streek al te graag door. André was timely, so knowledgeable, funny, patient and ressourceful. He was very patient with our 3 kids (15,12 and 9) who spent 30min in the oldest bookstore atop in business. He had great and funny stories that our kids engaged and provided great addresses for restaurant and pastries. Despite the extreme heat, he offered us a 3h tour and took the metro with us all the way to the restaurant. He is a true historian that loves to share his passion or Portugal. We had a lovely time being guided by Veerle through Lisbon. She will tell you a lot about the past and present - adjusted to the subjects you want to know more about. I do think it’s expensive but it was worth it for me because it was in Dutch which was easier to understand for my kid. Veerle is very knowledgeable.

I traveled solo for my first trip to Lisbon. Rodrigo was the perfect choice for a tour guide. He knows literally everything about the city and its rich history and is friendly and funny. Rodrigo was also very flexible and able to show me areas and shops that met my interests. And, his little sidekick, Poznan, is the perfect ambassador for the city. Her tail never stops wagging she greeted everyone with excitement. It was a great tour and I cannot recommend Rodrigo highly enough for solo travelers, families with children or groups. Great fun in Lisbon!

Veerle heeft de voorbereiding van ons dagprogramma en de ontmoetingsplek perfect geregeld. Veerle reageerde snel en goed op onze vragen vooraf over bijvoorbeeld tips restaurants. Dat was heel fijn. Veerle was netjes gekleed en we vertrokken op tijd via de trein naar Sintra. Vanaf het begin tot het einde was ons contact met Veerle prettig en relaxed. Veerle is een open mens en oprecht belangstellend. Zij vertelde ons veel waardevols over Portugal, Lissabon, Sintra en de mensen die daar wonen. We hebben een prachtige dag met haar beleefd en we bevelen haar als gids zeker aan. Een eerlijk oordeel geven over de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding vinden we lastig. Een dagtour met een privé gids was voor ons namelijk de 1ste keer. Wat ons hierbij zou helpen is een specificatie van de opbouw van de totaalprijs van 400 euro. Bijvoorbeeld de verhouding tussen de overheadkosten en het salaris van Veerle.Een prettige gids met waardevolle info

Andre was so accommodating. My husband got food poisoning the day of the tour and he was more than happy to switch to another day, even though he had come all the way from Sintra, which we felt terrible about. Throughout the tour, Andre was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He is a passionate history buff and had insights we wouldn't have known otherwise. We had also asked him to take us around to neighborhoods he would recommend if we moved to Lisbon and even show us how to take the subway. It felt less like a formal tour and more like being shown around by a passionate local friend.Very knowledgeable!

We (family of 4) had a really enjoyable afternoon of local food and interesting chat with Andre in Lisbon. It was wonderful to visit some places known to locals for traditional food and drink and really enhanced our stay. Andre was full of local information and history and had a cheeky sense of humour! He also customised our tour and the options he chose for us according to our food preferences and to try things we hadn't already tried (one of us is a vegetarian). Dinner with Isabel was a wonderful experience. She welcomed us for the evening and we felt instantly comfortable. We had three courses, plus dessert and wine. Fruits, breads, meats followed by a fish pie and then pork. Everything was delicious. We loved the whole evening, sharing stories with Isabel and her sweet dog, Chico. We had an amazing Food tour in Lisbon where we tasted very very authentic local foods that we would never have been able to find or have ever tried on our own. We do not eat gluten or dairy and Andre was able to take us out for some amazing food that did not involve either of those. I cannot highly recommend this enough.Beyond excellent

Andre has a fantastic tour guide. Andre messaged in advance to find out dietary requirements and accommodated two non-fish eaters (no easy feat in Lisbon). We visited some hidden gems and tried an excellent selection of food and drink. In addition to the food/drink choices, Andre was extremely knowledgeable, personable and really interesting.
