If you’re wanting to do a tour in Rome, especially with children, please do yourself a favor and book with Amandio. We were with him on the first day of our 12 days in Europe and he was the highlight of the entire trip. Amandio took our family (2 toddlers, my wife, and I) on a 3-hour bike tour that covered all of Rome. He took the kiddos with him in a babboe bike, and set up rentals for my wife and I. He was incredibly attentive to our children and made sure that they had the best experience possible. We were able to see almost the whole city during our time with him, and we will be planning to see him again when we are back in the city. Emanuele was such a wonderful host and guide—spending time with him honestly felt more like hanging out with a local friend than being on a tour. He even sent me the exact meeting spot with photos ahead of time (so even I couldn’t get lost 😅) He showed me some really fun spots, like the gelato stand where the Obamas once stopped (yes, that famous one!). We stopped in and had some ourselves. Along the way, he shared stories and explained little details—like why the statues in the fountains look so crisp and white—that really brought Rome to life. Where the Embassies were and where Julias Caesar was assassinated. I’d reached out before the tour to let him know I have celiac disease, and he went above and beyond: sending me a list of gluten-free resources and even checking in the next day to see if I had questions. That kind of thoughtfulness meant a lot. What I loved most is that he’s truly local to Rome! He knows the side streets, the history, and all the stories that make the city so special. Of all our tours in Rome, this one was the best. Our small group of four felt like true Romans, walking the side streets of Rome to get to all the sites. Claudio gave us a brilliant experience of Rome over two days. The first day was a walking tour to so many amazing churches, fountains and places of interest. He is very knowledgeable but not over the top. He took time to know our interests and directed us accordingly. Day two he drove us up to the hills where we saw ruins even older than Roman. He also took us to a delightful vineyard and olive grove then off to a perfect lunch restaurant. Highly recommended. Great Tour with Claudio

We had an amazing historical/architectural tour with Amandio yesterday. He is a great story teller, very animated and kept us and kids ( ages 13 and 11) interested the entire time. We opted to do it on e-bikes and did not regret a bit. It was +35 and having some air movement was great!!! We covered more area and saw way more than if we were to walk along the streets. Kids were very happy with little quizzes Amandio was giving them and were happy to learn more about Rome through this interactive approach. Amandio is an easy going guide and adapted effortlessly to our needs. We highly recommend him and will be happy to spend more time with him in the future in Rome.Amazing experience with Amandio!!

Simone was a hoot! It was a very casual and fun tour, with Simone very easy to speak with and making for a very fun tour. He personalised our tour on the fly and provided some great tips on where we could explore once our tour had finished. Our daughter slept in the pram for majority of the tour, but that didn't hold us back from touring the city. There was plenty of history, culture and insight into the Roman way of life, told through his eyes. We covered lots of ground (which we were very much open to). Elisa really exceeded all of our expectations! We were in Rome for a quick day and a half on our Honeymoon tour, so we wanted a lay of the land and to see most things but how?! She was an ultimate life saver after a tour we booked cancelled, she took it upon herself to last minute show up for us to make sure we had a fantastic trip. We rented E Bikes and she was able to take us to every major stop you want to see in Rome, we even got gelato, took us the back roads to see how the locals do, pointed out coffee shops to head back to, and not to mention she made sure we got a great photo at each spot. She is also very knowledgeable about her home and gave us some good facts. Do not miss out on this friendly, kind, and funny woman! Book with her if you want a better way to see all of Rome! We just did a tour with Amandio a few days back . We were a large group , 5 adults n 4 kids. From the start, he was super communicative and accommodating to our needs. He took the kids and grandma on baboe bike - so they were all super happy to not have to walk all the time ;) . He also knew very well ( better than us) how to connect with the kids- with the way he kept them entertained with puzzles, jokes, even games and dancing ! He was also super funny and kept us entertained with his stories. The pizza and gelato and canoli stops were great . When the tour ended , we all ( especially the kids) were sad to say good- bye. We felt we were saying good bye to a good friend ! We certainly hope to see him another time and will highly, highly recommend him to anyone . Best walking/ biking tour ever

Our experience with Amandio was absolutely phenomenal! Despite a two-hour flight delay and major road closures due to the Giro d’Italia, he was incredibly flexible and accommodating. He reassured us he’d wait until we were ready, and true to his word, he was right outside our hotel when we arrived. Because of the street closures, Amandio offered us a few great alternatives to the original bike tour, and we decided on a walking tour instead. It was the best decision! Amandio is a walking encyclopedia! So knowledgeable, engaging, and fun to be around. His passion for Rome is contagious. He also took us to a local eatery tucked away from the tourist crowds, where we had the most delicious porchetta, pizza, and supplì. It was so good that we went back the very next day on our own! Auf unserer Rom Städtetour Anfang Mai 2025, haben wir Romain für eine 5 Stunden Full Coverage Rome City Tour gebucht. Zuerst einmal möchten wir uns noch einmal bei Romain für seine unglaubliche Flexibilität und seinen Kundenservice bedanken, da wir aufgrund von Anreiseproblemen erst mit 8 Stunden Verspätung in Rom eingetroffen sind und den vereinbarten Termin mit Romain nicht einhalten konnten. Internet sei Dank, klappte die direkte Kommunikation und Romain hat uns angeboten die Tour zu splitten, so das wir am Anreisetag 2 Stunden und am Folgetag 3 Stunden das Vergnügen hatten uns von Romain fachkundig, mit vielen Anekdoten und Hintergrundinformationen versehen, durch diese erstaunliche Stadt führen zu lassen. Oft liefen wir abseits der überlaufenen Touristenattraktionen, entdeckten versteckte Hinterhöfe, gingen kleine, schmale Gassen entlang, um plötzlich wieder auf einer belebten Piazza heraus zu kommen um dann in der nächsten Gasse weitere Jahrhundert alte Säulen und von außen völlig unscheinbare Gebäude, kaum als Kirche zu identifizieren, zu entdecken, die dem Besucher viele Malereien und andere Schätze bereit hält.
