Roxanne was an amazing tour guide. I had been in touch. With her prior to arriving in Vienna. I wanted to see if I could find my family home and trace some significant family locations there. Roxanne greeted us with charm and extensive knowledge about the Jewish history of Vienna. She led us to my father’s home, school and synagogue while giving us some in depth history. We had a wonderful tour with Roxanne about the Jewish community in Vienna. We walked through the 2nd District and finished at the Holicaust Memorial and the Jewish Museum. I can’t rate Roxane highly enough! Communication with her was prompt so I had no anxiety planning this tour. She was like visiting Vienna with your favorite college professor - she knows so much and brings lots of little details to make it all more real. She gave us ideas of what to do on our free time. My wife and I had the very good fortune to choose and the distinct pleasure to tour with Roxane. She is the guide for you if you are interested in Jewish history, Holocaust and Contemporary Jewish life in Vienna. She is warm and approachable, but a serious teacher at the same time. While some guides take you on "their tour", Roxane was interested in what we were most interested in and went from there. She has great command of the material so can answer your questions as they come up. While much of Jewish life in Vienna is rife with tragedy, our tour also included learning about the "good times" and many significant contributions of Jews in Vienna as well. Roxane is not Jewish, which we would not have known if she had not told us, as she is deeply understanding and empathetic of the immense and frequent discrimination and hate Jews have faced in Vienna, Austria and Europe. We recommend Roxane for all groups, all ages, without reservation. Jewish Vienna with Roxane--Tour de Force!!

Roxanne was our guide for the Jewish tour. Let me start by saying this young smart lady is not your average guide.She is curious by nature and boy does it show! We spent an afternoon learning not only about Vienna & it’s sad unfortunate history, but we got in depth conversations on various political topics, both old & new. It’s rare to find young people who are so versed in many topics and are passionate. What a joy! Highly recommend taking a tour with her. Roxane was excellent and went beyond what we expected. We were on a mission to find the graves of my great great grandfather and one of his sons. They died in Vienna in 1900 and 1921. I am the great grandson of another son. The family left Vienna and settled in Glasgow Scotland before WW1 I had some details which I supplied in advance that had helped but before we arrived Roxane had done further research and took us to the cemetery and graves. Not easy in an old cemetery where parts are overgrown and the tombstones are severely weathered. We then visited other sites in Vienna. It’s possible that I am the first family member to have visited the cemetery in 100 years. Anyone who has Roxane as a guide will not be dissatisfied. We also used the underground and tram system to get around which was a great way to experience the city. Our tour was not an ordinary one and exceptional in the way she met our requirements which were to say the lease a bit out of the ordinary Malcolm. Myra livingstone. 10

This was our second time in Vienna and having toured the main sites last year, we decided to explore the city via a food tour. It turned out to be great decision as Susanne gave us a brand new introduction to Vienna. This was far more than a food and drink tasting tour. Susanne's experiences of growing up in Vienna give her great perspective on what has changed over the years and what stays the same. Suzanne really brings to life the downtown city with her local knowledge, finding gems while being flexible to fit our interests. She is very friendly and a wonderful host. I will say the tour description is a little deceptive, suggesting 10 tastings. We ended up visiting six places (ice cream, wine tasting, polish sandwiches, Viennese coffee with Apfel strudel, an amazing specialty chocolate shop and some street sausages. For two people, the price seemed a little much. Perhaps a small adjustment for the smaller amount of food/drink consumed would make sense for only two people.Relaxing food tasting experience

Sandie was a wonderful tour guide for our Taste of Vienna. We went to a wide variety of food stops from appetizers to drinks to lunch to dessert - all very tasty. In fact, we went back to a couple of them later in the week. Sandie intermixed a history of the City as we walked between stops which made is particularly interesting. Susanne gave us a wonderful uniquely tailored tour for our small group. I contacted Susanne about an evening tour because we didn’t like the tour our river cruise was offering—but we wanted to visit Vienna at night. We joined her for drinks and dinner, and then we walked all around the center of old Vienna. We got to see the lovely capital in the evening, while being entertained by our guide. Sandie is great. From the moment she met us in the lobby of our hotel (she was early) we knew we were in for a wonderful day of sight seeing, story telling and food samplings! We booked Claudia-Maria for 2 x 1/2 day English walking tours and gave her a list of what interested us. She created a bespoke tour for our group of 10 (ages ranging from 18-80), which included city highlights, the amazing Hundertwasser & Hadid buildings and a guided castle tour. Hiring Roxanne to show us around Vienna was a wonderful decision. Roxanne tailored our walking tour of Vienna to our family’s needs (some physical limitations). She also was very willing, accommodating, and flexible to find a driver that could drive us since we had someone on our tour with limited walking capabilities. She has a kind and friendly disposition, and wonderful knowledge of the history of Vienna. Her ability to navigate the city and help with translation while visiting a coffee house were extremely helpful. She felt like family by the end of our 3 hour walking tour.What A Gem!
