I greatly enjoyed my time with Sudarat. We hit it off immediately because we both enjoy watching the same Korean dramas that stream on Netflix, so we were off to a good start. In terms of the service, Sudarat was on time, professional, and extremely accommodating. She went out of her way to explain in detail the various Thai street dishes sold in the market (something everyone should try). I walked away having been better off for the experience with her in Bangkok. I strongly recommend her to anyone who wants to see the backstreets of Bangkok and how Thais truly live. Well worth it. An absolute joy

My friend and I arrived in Bangkok and we kicked off our holiday with a tour with Sudarat. This was by far the best tour we have done. My wife, our 7-year-old son, and I had a fantastic tour around Bangkok with Sudarat. It was such a wonderful way to discover parts of the city we never would have uncovered on our own. Sudarat was truly amazing — especially with our usually shy and reserved boy. She engaged with him so naturally that he warmed to her almost immediately. Throughout the tour she found fun and thoughtful ways to keep Patty involved, which he absolutely loved, while still offering more than enough insight and depth to keep the adults fascinated. The tour struck the perfect balance of fun and education, with great insights into Bangkok’s incredible history, Thai traditions, and Buddhist culture. In just a few hours, we managed to see stunning temples and the giant reclining Buddha, feed turtles, ride in tuk tuks, enjoy sticky mango rice, wander through the flower markets, and so much more. It was an unforgettable experience, and Sudarat was a truly outstanding guide. We had a fantastic morning on our tour. Sudurat is friendly and knowledgeable, and was really good with our kids (ages 6 and 8). She took us to some places that we would never have found on our own - including some quieter locations. She always had a game or activity as we moved around, and our kids had a great time. It was a brilliant taste of Bangkok at the start of our time here.Fantastic tour with kids

We had a great time being taken around a bunch of local areas and trying foods we would never have found otherwise. It was nice having it personalised and a bit of choice to find what also suits our tastes, whilst still getting new experiences. My only advice is to turn up hungry. We tried a mix of dishes, before finding a bunch of different desserts in Chinatown. We got to go down some of the side streets and to small local street food vendors. We would highly recommend to anyone wanting to taste and discover a great variety of Thai food.Amazing food selection

Sudarat, thank you for a great start of our Thailand trip. The 7 of us didn’t imagine ourselves in the lively Chinatown on our first night in Bangkok, exhausted after a 14-hour flight, but you made it into relaxed and cool experience. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our food tour experience with our lovely local guide Sudarat. Sudarat provided a friendly, informative and well paced street food tasting experience of Bangkok. The food provided enough food variety with the advantage of tailoring the experience to our interests and tastes. Sudarat was absolutely amazing. As soon as I booked she sent me a message asking what we wanted to do on the tour. I gave her a rough idea of what we wanted to do and she came up with a few suggestions. I asked for some “off the beaten path” stuff and she did not disappoint. At most of the places we went to we were the only tourists there. It felt very private and special but also safe. I would love to do another tour with her again some time.Amazing Tour!

We really enjoyed our street food tour with Sudarat she showed us some great spots to get local street food and snacks . We even went back to some of the spots when we returned to Bangkok two weeks later. Can highly recommend Sudarat as a guide as she gives you enough information about the food and area and she’s very friendly. She even walked with us to the metro station to make sure we were on the right line to get back to our hotel.Great Street Food

Really enjoyable tour. Sudarat was absolutely lovely, friendly, and knowledgeable. She introduced us to places and tastes we would never have found on our own. We visited a couple of eat-in cafes, explored a farmers market, and sampled eats at various food stalls. The variety of dishes was amazing, from morning glory to the infamous durian (which I liked!), and even some more adventurous options like fermented eggs (which I opted out of trying!). I am coeliac and therefore have to avoid gluten - something the Thai people aren’t familiar with so Sudarat was invaluable and did a great job checking ingredients and making sure everything was safe for me to eat. I could relax and not worry about what I was eating. Whether you're a foodie, got food intolerances, or just looking to experience the real Bangkok, I highly recommend this tour with Sudarat. The food is all included so we found it good value. Fantastic tour, ate lots and learnt lots!

We had an amazing time with Sudarat. We loved the fact that she took us to the reclining Buddha and showed us around and due to songkran were there were many events taking place. We got to do sand castles , add golden leaves on our buddhas. The kids loved feeding the turtles at another temple she took us , she got us traditional thai tea and the kids fed the turtles meatballs and papaya. We also loved the tuk tuk ride and walking through the flower market. Kids enjoyed their ice cream and we enjoyed our mango sticky rice! At the end she even organised for us to take a private long tail boat through Bangkok’s canals which was so interesting. The kids spotted lots of monitor lizards and we even fed the catfish that live in the canals ! Highly recommend ! Everything was amazing but I think maybe it was a bit pricey for what it was , but as parents with two small children (3 years old and 5,5 years old) I guess it helped not having to think or organize and queue for a long time. We just followed sudarat and that was nice ! Amazing experience with kids!

Sudarat was amazing!! We had a 4hr tour in Bangkok (two families with two 6 year olds). Sudarat made sure there was something to see for everyone. We visited temples, tried the local cuisine, visited a beautiful flower market. The children loved feeding the turtles and going on the tuk tuk - it was the highlight for them. Sudarat was very knowledgeable and was amazing with the children, making sure they had enough water and shade as it was a very hot day. I would highly recommend, both families had a fantastic afternoon.

We loved our food tour with Sudarat, it was the perfect introduction to Bangkok. My partner is celiac and needs to eat gluten free, which can make eating out difficult in Thailand. Sudarat was very accommodating and took us to a wide variety of places where he could also enjoy the food. She discussed his dietary restrictions with staff and he felt safe eating everything, he didn't have any reaction. All the food and drinks were delicious, it's hard to pick a favourite. I really enjoyed trying out different fruits at a local market and Sudarat catered to our preferences there. Sudarat was a very warm and engaging guide, with lots of interesting information to share.Fantastic food tour

Suda was so welcoming. She was so pleasant to talk to and yet informative about Bangkok and its history. She took our group to the Golden Buddah, Chinatown, Flower Market and another local temple. Some of our highlights: 1) She brought us to the market to have lunch. It was the best tom yum I ever tasted in my life. 2) She helped me interpret conversations when looking for something specific and coordinating with the private driver that we hired for the day. 3) She hailed us a tuktuk to convoy since we didnt fit so our group didnt separate. Would recommend Suda! And would go find another private tour with WithLocals. Chill but authentic tour

We really enjoyed our day in Bangkok with Sudarat (Oi). She was kind, knowledgeable, and excited to show us pieces and parts of the city. We were very moved by the visit to The Golden Mount (Wat Saket), where we learned about the previous cholera outbreak, as well as modern life at the Wat. Our meeting with a monk was wonderful, with a list of interesting questions answered, all about life as a monk and how Wat life unfolds. After a month of traveling Thailand, it helped us to answer some questions about Buddhism. We then visited both the amulet market and the Buddha factory - local delights and very interesting. We ended our tour strolling through the flower market and the vegetable market. Sudarat went out of her way to help us see things from her perspective, and try a few tasty treats along the journey. She is kind and lovely to chat with. We highly recommend this tour if you are curious about Buddhism, or just want to take a slower pace through this busy city. A lovely day in Bangkok!

I can only express gratitude to our lovely guide Sudarat. We had a wonderful time with her in Bangkok. She tailored our tour based on our requests of visiting temples, meeting the monks and learning more about Buddhism in general. She was knowledgeable and prepared and also very fun to hang out with.
