Full marks for this tours hosted by Siddoz. Planning and time management are key elements to maximising ones opportunities to absorb history and culture. The most important element before you get to all of that is of course first impressions. Siddoz not only is a professional but also a; Sociable, Jovial and a Polite individual. He is well and truly a walking talking encyclopedia who has a substantial knowledge base and displays this with great passion and love for what he does. Being a business man my self, it’s not always about money but the joys of what you do that makes it worth while WHAT EVER it is you do. Siidoz was great! There was a person with a nut allergy in the group and he was able to adapt the tour to cater for this. There were also two children (11 years and 13 years). The tour was centred primarily around Chinatown with a good variety of food, both savoury and sweet. He was knowledgeable and engaging, particularly making sure the children were included. There was so much food so make sure you're hungry! Thanks!Great tour

My family and I travel internationally often and almost always we hire locals to show us around. We were excited to do the same in Kuala Lumpur as this was our first time in the city. But we were disappointed with our experience. We were still hungry after the tour. Our guide took us to four different sites and made sure he chose the most inexpensive food items on the menu. Mind you we each paid over $39. We were surprised to know that the whole tasting experience will be done within the Jalan Street or the food street which to us is not really a local eating experience. Really great tour for my first day in KL. Communication till then was handled well, pick up was punctual. The tour covered all the highlights and more. The pace was good and Siidoz is really amiable and very knowledgeable. I was taken very good care of. Id highly recommend this tour for anyone new to KL and wanting to get a good overview. We had a great time learning about Malaysian food and culture with Siidoz! He accommodated meat eaters and vegetarians in our party and even added in some special treats for our kids. This a must in KL! We had an amazing time trying all the best street food in places we would never have found without Siidoz. Siidoz was super knowledgeable and we learned about the history of KL as well as the street food culture. He was a great host. Our only negative was there was too much food!!! Had a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon food tour. Siidoz is very easy to get along with and very knowledgeable on the food and local Culture and the area surrounding Central Market. We were shown down narrow alleyways in China Town which we would never have found and treated to some amazing food Malaysian, Indian and Chinese. Some in restaurants others at small stands serving maybe just four dishes. In the words of Siidoz, non of his guests ever finish a tour not feeling well fed, which was certainly the case. Our group of 4 enjoyed a great private tour in the heart of KL’s Chinatown with Siddoz and his trainee (Steve?). Siddoz was firstly very patient and understanding as we were delayed in KL traffic for ~15 mins. He catered to my fussy parents, explained the dishes we were trying and introduced us to foods we wouldn’t have ordinarily tried. He also took us to a couple of really cool spots for photo ops, some of the best photos on our holiday (thanks Steve, our personal photographer too!). We had requested a food tour focused on authentic local cuisine and street food that the locals eat here. I am a foodie and amateur cook myself, having lived and worked on three continents – most recently for three years in China. My interest always lies in the true local cuisines of ordinary people. Even prior to the meeting Siddoz was very prompt with messages and tailored the tour as per our needs. This was my third visit to Malaysia and I think I knew most about Malaysian food. However within the first 2 dishes quickly proved me wrong. We went from stall to stall - each hand picked for what it was great at - and we got to try some great dishes from the differnt ethnic groups that make up the Malaysian population. Would definitely recommend this guide. Great intro to malaysian food.

Sidoz was knowledgeable and friendly and we enjoyed our time sampling different local foods. There was only one dish we didn't enjoy, but we still were completely full at the end! It was an abrupt end to the session, but that was down to heavy rain that suddenly appeared.Great half day food tour

I met Siddoz (and Cash who was being trained at the time) at the Central Market and was taken on a food tour to remember. I got to sample Malaysian, Chinese and Indian food. Siddoz took us around to places we would not have otherwise found and got to experience some great, authentic food and sights, as well as insights about the history and culture of Malaysia. Highly recommend doing one of these tours, especially if you like trying new foods and finding hidden (inexpensive) gems! Siddoz was also great at giving us some advice the day after, when we were venturing in to Little India - had some of the best Indian we have had there, on his recommendation.
