My wife and I had the best day with Cesar! He made our day in Mallorca unforgettable! We didn't really have any plans of what we wanted to do and left it up to Cesar to help us have a fantastic day. We decided to take a tour with Cesar instead of booking an excursion through our cruise line and it was awesome! We went to the Bellver Castle followed by a walking tour in town where we learned quite a bit about Palma de Mallorca's history and culture. He tailored the tour to our time frame but we never felt rushed. It was definitely one of the best days of our vacation!Cesar was awesome!

Our tour with Cesar was great! His knowledge of the local history was impressive and very informative. Our ship arrived at port a little late and he was kind enough to adjust his schedule to accommodate our late arrival. Valldemossa is a beautiful town and a must see, especially for Chopin fans. He treated us to a special Valldemossa sweet bread...Coques de Patata, which was yummy! He also customized the tour for us by showing us Deia and Palma. My only negative comment is that the car is a little small for 4 people. My husband and brother are both over 6 ft and the 3 of us in the back were a little cramped. This day was spectacular. The caves, the swimming cove, the lunch, the wine tasting, the ancient villages but most of all the company. From start to finish Natalia was the perfect guide (or should I say host!). We found places that only a local would know and it was just perfect. Sometimes you get a guide who tells you only the history, focussing on only the historic side. Don’t get me wrong because we love that too but this tour was different. We saw the unique places, from art galleries to the best cafe hidden in a shop! To the best places to eat and rooftop bars, to hidden courtyard. Our experience with Cesar was outstanding from start to finish. He worked cooperatively with us to design two full-day itineraries that comported with our interests and dietary needs. Cesar was punctual in picking us up from our hotel each morning and made appropriate adjustments to our plans as needed based on traffic, opening/closing times for sights, and the like. Parenthetically, Cesar navigated steep hairpin turns (such as between Valldemosa and Port de Valldemosa) and tight parking with aplomb. He is knowledgeable about Spanish history in general and Mallorcan culture and history in particular, and never hesitated to answer our questions or give dining or beach recommendations. He even brought us to an archeological site in Palma that none of the guide books mentioned and introduced us to his wife, who worked there. My wife and I have already recommended Cesar to friends considering a future visit Mallorca.

Cesar was awesome. He has overly accommodating with a late minute request to add 2 additional people to the tour. He was knowledgeable about Mallorca and had hidden gems of knowledge. Drachs cave was awesome and it was pretty clear that he had the 'in' with all the folks working there and had secret ways to get us in the right place at the right time ;-). We also wanted to go to a beach for a while and what an awesome Cala we went to (w/ locals instead of tourist location). Mallorca is a gem of a location and he was the rockstar of the island. We’ve traveled extensively over the past two decades—on every continent except Australia (so far)—and have had well over 100 tour guides, including more than 40 through Withlocals. In my work as a global health researcher, I’ve also had countless encounters across cultures and countries. And I can say, without hesitation: Cesar is the best tour guide we have ever had. His knowledge of Mallorca was both expansive and precise—not just facts, but stories that brought the island to life. He shared fascinating historical and contemporary insights into the island’s people, society, and geography with remarkable depth and clarity. We did two tours with Cesar. The first took us to the Drach Caves, with a stop at Nadal’s Tennis Academy and lunch at a fantastic local (non-touristy) restaurant. The second was a 1/2 day trip to Valldemossa and Deià. While the destinations were beautiful, what made the experience unforgettable was Cesar himself. We arrived to Palma Mallorca from our cruise ship. Cesar was our tour guide, he gave us such a pleasant tour, we walked through the streets were he show us around while giving us an incredible background of history and culture. Passed by a few churches, visited Turk Baths a Santa Clara Monastery and visited the beautiful Cathedral. He gave us some tips of places to eat and shop. We truly recommend Cesar. I booked this introduction to Palma experience as my sister and I were making our first visit to Palma and were only staying for the weekend - so we couldn't afford to waste time in the wrong parts of town! Suzanne did a great job of pointing out key details of paintings ands sculptures in the huge Prado museum that we would have otherwise missed. She shared some interesting details about the artists as well. I should also mention that she got us tickets and we were able to avoid the long lines and enter through a side door. We did a walking tour on Highlights and Hidden Gems of Palma de Mallorca with Cesar. I can't say enough about how great it was. Cesar will give you history, details, connections with our own countries, and personal details I can't believe you could get anywhere else. It was absolutely fascinating. He clearly loves his city and is passionate about sharing it. We saw more and learned more in a few hours than relatives who spent several days there! Cesar is also one of the kindest people you can meet. In fact he feels like a friend as soon as you meet him. He was so good with my adopted Mom who was in a wheelchair. I expected there would be more to eat, but it turned out to be just enough in the end anyway. We tasted a few things, got some ideas of what to eat later by ourselves, saw many nice spots in central Palma and got to hear even more interesting stories.
