Fabrine was an excellent tour guide! She is very personable and has a true love of food and the authentic foods of Denmark! She explained the history of Denmark related to food and took us to great food spots not in the touristy areas, which was great!! That’s what we wanted, good food where locals go! Fabrine is very kind and sensitive to our wheelchair access around Copenhagen and was very engaging with conversation with my family, teenage son, and my parents! My wife Michelle and I decided we wanted to sample the Danish food culture whilst in Copenhagen. We wanted to experience the culture with a local. Fabrine easily exceeded our expectations. A Brazilian who settled in Denmark, she is a foodie like us but also she knows all the places to go which are off the beaten track but amazing to experience. We had a great afternoon with Fabrine. As well as being very entertaining, Fabrine was extremely knowledgeable about the city and the great food we tried. We sampled lots of wonderful traditional foods and Fabrine looked after us beautifully, even bringing a table cloth for our treats in the market. Fabrine was a great tour guide and we thoroughly enjoyed our time with her. Fabrine was a wealth of knowledge about life in Copenhagen and its history. Fabrine's knowledge on the fascinating hidden gems of Copenhagen would never let you guess that she isn't a native local. In fact, she has probably explored and studied the nooks and corners of the city more than most locals have - which is a great asset for a Highlights and Hidden Gems tour. She also introduced us to some great Danish food - we particularly loved the scrumptiously fresh smørrebrød (Danish open-faced sandwiches) and delicious fiskefrikadeller (fish cakes) that we tried. Enjoyed our tour with Fabrine who was chatty and well informed. Lots to taste on the tour, although we would have preferred to start savoury and finish sweet. Best stop was at Le Pave where we had open sandwiches and beer. Not so sure about the fried pancakes and pastries which felt a little less special. Food market was great but it means a lot came at once so the end of the tour felt rushed.Fabrine is lovely…!

Wow. What a fun afternoon. We spent about 3 hours with Fabrine walking (and talking!) around Copenhagen really soaking in the culture of the city. And ate and drank a ton! Pace yourself - You will get full! Some stops were in "touristy". areas but some were not - either way - the food was always great. If you are looking for a more intimate experience with a local to understand how the local food and the culture mesh, this may be the tour for you! Fabrine was a wonderful guide and was able to take us to a number of great places that I had not been to before. She has good relationships with all the vendors we visited and her knowledge of food and Danish history really made the tour very enjoyable. Because our tour was in the afternoon she stopped by the bakery before our tour to make sure we got all the key pastries before they were sold out. I would suggest being hungry before starting the tour, my husband and I couldn’t eat everything and luckily were able to take the things we couldn’t eat back home with us to have for later. We had a great experience with Fabrine. She showed up on time, was very friendly and really knew a lot of the history of Copenhagen. We enjoyed the day with her and she took us to many neat locations in Copenhagen. We even ended up have more tastings than promised which was a nice bonus and she definitely catered the tour around our interests. My husband and I had arranged to meet Fabrine at the beginning of our first trip to Copenhagen, it was the best decision. Our group of family from the US enjoys eating as a way to experience the varied cultures of countries we travel to. In this case, the four of us met in Copenhagen and set up this tour with Fabrine.
