We enjoyed our time with Ilona. She was very knowledgeable and took her responsibilities as a tour guide very seriously. Both in communicating ahead of time and day of our tour, Ilona took the time to discover what we were interested and incorporated that into her remarks. While our tour was the Gaudi tour, I appreciated that Ilona incorporated the history and background that led to Catalunyan Modernisme, as well as showed us and talked about architecture by others from that time period. Ilona gave us the right amount of information, not overwhelming us without too much detail yet making sure we understood the most important points. We had an absolutely incredible experience touring Barcelona, thanks to our amazing guide Moisés. From start to finish, he was the perfect combination of knowledgeable, patient, and kind. What truly set this tour apart was his deep understanding of Barcelona’s rich architectural and cultural history. While we were initially excited to learn about Gaudí, our guide went above and beyond by introducing us to other key figures in Catalan Modernism, including Lluís Domènech i Montaner and Josep Puig i Cadafalch. He gave us a deeper appreciation for the city’s architecture and helped us see Barcelona in a completely new light. Walking through the streets with him, we discovered hidden details and stories we completely missed on our own. His insights made the city come alive in ways we never expected. The highlight, of course, was the Sagrada Família — we were absolutely blown away not just by the grandeur of the building, but by the depth of knowledge he shared about the symbolism, structure, and design of its exterior. We booked a walking tour with Ellie pretty late the night before we wanted to meet with her for a tour. We sent her a couple of questions about the tour and was hoping she'd see the questions before we planned out the day prior to our meeting. She contacted us promptly the next morning, answered the questions and set up the meeting. She was very vigilant in making sure we were all together, had great, up-front views of the buildings, and were protected from some of the distractions around the city. Not only was her tour of Gaudi's architectures very in-depth but the way she weaved the back stories lent life and character to his works. Rather than seeing just a building, we saw Gaudi's emotion, dreams, and his reality in the works of art. After this tour, I have a much greater appreciation for Gaudi's work and life's work. Ellie was great in making sure all of our teen and pre-teenagers were included in the tour and could see what she was describing. Her knowledge of city of Barcelona, the Catalan culture, the rich history was remarkable and her unique point of view was refreshing. She took a genuine interest in our background so as to better be able to relate Gaudi's story in a way that we could better relate and understand. I would highly recommend a tour with Ellie. She has an admirable passion for her trade and is a library of wonderful knowledge. My only wish was that I could stay in Barcelona longer so that I could take other tours with Ellie. We liked our time with Laura. She was punctual and pleasant. We appreciated her flexibility during the planning stage and she was quick to respond and suggest tweaks to the plan. The actual “tour” was ok - she provided high level overview of various Gaudí buildings however the depth was lacking - we had higher expectations given her architectural background however she only provided very high level information which was somewhat disappointing. Overall if you are looking for a nice walk through Barcelona and high level overview of Gaudí and his creations Laura works be a good choice. If you are looking for an in depth dive into the architecture and architect - looks elsewhere. Good high level overview of Gaudi and city

Sebastian is a kind and open minded person and he makes you feel very welcome from the first moments. He is sufficiently knowledgeable about Barcelona's history, but for our taste the tour was not well structured. It was meant to be a Gaudì tour but in the end it was more like a general explanation of the many things that happened in Barcelona throughout history enriched with some anecdotes from Gaudì's life. Overall it left us with some interesting impressions but we were not satisfied, especially given the high price we paid for this. At this cost we would not recommend it. By means of constructive feedback: a few days later we decided to join a free tour organized by Civitatis and it had quite a few parallels but everything was explained in a more in-depth and structured manner. Regardless of the price (here you donate whatever you feel adequate, ca. €10-20pp) we preferred this tour.Gaudì tour

We really enjoyed our 3 hr Gaudi themed tour with Sebastian. It was really engaging in terms of the historical content, Sebastian showed photos on his iPad which helped to explain the development of the history.
