Roberto was very communicative and kind thoughtful about his choices of food and the stories he shared. We learned about both food and Napoli history. Miriam was so friendly and welcoming to the city of Naples. We definitely felt like we experienced the culinary secrets of the city. We were provided with a wonderful selection of treats, both sweet and savoury. Some highlights were the mini mozzarella, pasta frittata and fried fish. The 10 Tastes of Napoli tour with Armando + it was truly one of the top highlights of our trip! We are a mother + adult son visiting from Northwest Arkansas, USA. We booked a Sunday in August, which meant that many of the usual stops in the tour were closed. Even so, our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, found great spots for food, and introduced us to favorite local treats. The difference between a good tour and a great tour is the guide. This was a GREAT tour. Our tour guide Roberto was a joy to hang out with for 4 hours; walking around the streets, learning the history and stopping by a half dozen spots for vegan delights. The pizza was the best ever. Funny thing: with thousands of people walking the streets, Roberto seemed to know everyone...a true local! I do recommend this tour highly. All within walking distance of the cruise ship. My husband and I arrived in Naples without a plan. At the last minute I connected with Roberto via WithLocals and it was the best way we could have experienced Naples! Roberto was an absolute PLEASURE! He took extra time to tell us about the history of Napoli as well as interesting and fun “nuggets” of knowledge that enhanced our experience. Nino was a fantastic guide and gave a dollop of history and a full serving of food. He took us to several places that we wouldn't have found on our own and, as another reviewer said, took us to a place with the easily best mozzarella we've ever had. We also learned a lot about Neapolitan cuisine. I can't recommend it highly enough; you'll really enjoy your time walking, talking, and eating with Nino as your guide!The best food tour we've ever been on!

The food tour was great however we had a difficult situation arise. One of the guys in our group was not feeling well and found it difficult to walk. Frederica’s husband was our guide and went above and beyond to accommodate us. We went to a few spots and when it became evident that one gentleman couldn’t handle the whaling he brought all the food tour us so we didn’t miss anything. Gennaro is one of the best tour guides I've ever had. He is passionate, friendly, kind, entertaining and knowledgeable. We were only in Napoli for one night and this was a fantastic way to see some interesting sights, learn about the history of the city and sample some amazing food and drink in 3hrs. Roberto is so knowledgeable and is clearly a local celebrity. We tried authentic pizza, fried fish, ragu, buffalo mozzarella, rum baba and more. We did a 3 hr food tour with Roberto “ The Pizza Lover” - we had a group of 6 and Roberto aced it. He knows his stuff and has great contacts throughout the city. He has a very casual style and made the tour easy going. Roberto wasn’t a clock watcher - he enjoyed engaging in dialogue along the way sharing his experiences and leaning from us. What a fantastic tour. Gennaro is warm, genuine, knowledgeable, funny and engaging. He loves sharing his hometown of Napoli, not as a tour, but rather an experience. I felt like walking through a new town with a dear friend, whom we knew only for a few hours. The 3-hour tour flew by as we sampled some of Napoli’s famous foods… mozzarella, cuoppo, taralli, pasta, sfogliatelle, limoncello, espresso and, of course, pizza. Tge food on its own was spectacular, but Gennaro made this a truly special experience. One I will remember for and Cheri’s for the rest of my life. Thank you Gennaro.
