I very much enjoyed my amazing tour with Julian. He is very knowledgable and the tour included all the highlights. Julian was an amazing guide, soeaks imoecxable English and walked with me through the historic sites of Madrid from its founding to more modern day history. I really appreciated that he took time for in-depth commentary and was able to answer all my questions. I highly recommend Julian, and would book hin again. We had a brilliant history walking tour with Beatriz! She kept us captivated for 3 hours on a very warm Monday evening, both us parents and our 16 and 13 year olds. She brought a wide range of Madrid's history to life - using different spots around the city as starting points for fascinating insights and vignettes that left us all feeling we understood Madrid and Spain much better. Beatriz was wonderful! We booked a tour with her on the first night of our trip in Madrid, and it was an excellent introduction to the city. She was very personable, knowledgable, and engaging. We had a fantastic time on our tour with Julio. He is very friendly, energetic, and knowledgeable. He gave us a great overview of the city, an we learned a lot about history. He pointed out many hidden gems in the city that we would otherwise not have noticed had we only used a book as our guide. Great couple of hours with Beatriz. Walking dictionary of Spanish history. Love learning about the Islamic component of Spanish culture. She is a better teacher than we are students. Will try to finish all the homework she set - lots more little places to explore in Madrid before we head home.

We were a group of 8 who were interested in learning about the Spanish Civil War. We spent 3 hours with Beatriz on a lovely, sunny afternoon in Ciudad Universitaria. We all agreed she was the perfect guide for us. She was knowledgeable, charming and just so pleasant to be with. Beatriz did a great job of explaining the highlights of Spain and Madrid's history by taking us on an interesting walk through the streets of Madrid. We knew very little about Spain and her descriptions and stories really helped us understand. She is a history teacher and we learned a lot from her. We had a great time exploring Chueca and Justicia with Mateo. He showed us the neighborhood and gave us a lot of interesting information about the history, architecture and daily life of the places. We went into interesting shops (chocolate! magic!), looked into hidden courtyards and had great conversations about life, music and the people of this part of the city. We know Madrid quite well, as we visit the city every year, but Mateo showed us a lot of things we did not know so far - 100% recommendable!Great tour with a lot of inside knowledge
