This was my second tour with Sara, this time with my husband for her Hidden Gems tour. It was just as brilliant as the first. We met at the Duomo, wandered through the charming Brera district, and explored Castello Sforzesco while soaking up its rich history. Plus much more. Sara’s knowledge of art and history is exceptional, she brings everything to life with warmth and insight. A highlight was our coffee stop at Marchesi 1824 on Via Santa Maria alla Porta; the original location founded in 1824 and now beautifully preserved by the Prada Group. Sipping espresso and nibbling biscotti in Milan’s oldest pasticceria felt like stepping back in time. This was a highlight. Sara knows all the tucked-away treasures and how to pace the time perfectly. Truly the best way to experience Milano, like being shown around by a local friend. Highly recommend. I’ll be back next year with a friend and let’s SHOP!! Memorable

Armando war sehr unterhaltsam. Es gab viel Geschichte, interessante Anekdoten und er zeigte uns wirklich wundervolle Orte, die mehr unter Einheimischen bekannt sind und deshalb sehr authentisch sind. Wir haben das beste Eis Italiens probiert und tolle Restaurantempfehlungen bekommen. Wir sind durch wunderschöne Strassen geschlendert und haben ein Stück der italienischen dolce vita mitbekommen. Francesca was a tremendous guide. We started our tour at the Duomo where Francesca breathed life into the intricacies of this historic and blessed structure. Afterwards we had an espresso at a newly restored Campari bar with beautiful mosaics. We proceeded to the Galleria with even more ancient works of art on the edifice and the floors. From there we walked past La Scala and into the fabulous Brera neighborhood. I can’t imagine that I would be able to describe how beautiful it was without writing a large travel book. Scuola and Libraries, beautiful Botanic Gardens and incredible wine bars and shops to name a few. We ended our tour at the Castle and before she left, she recommended the most incredible restaurant that only locals would patronize. Thank you Francesca. A tour through the best of Milan

We loved this tour. It started with the standard highlights, with some emphasis on hidden gems then moved to modern Milan. We unexpectedly loved this part. It was so interesting. We had no idea that Milan had transformed a bad area into a successful live, work, retail area with model buildings and ecosystems that we had studied at work and school. It was amazing. Right across the street was a district that was hundreds of years old. An amazing experience. Also got valuable tips for public transportation and gelato. Salvatore is passionate about his subject. Arianna war ein sehr freundlicher und liebenswerter Guide, der mit uns durch die Straßen der Stadt schlenderte. Zu fast jedem Haus hatte sie eine Anekdote. Wie sie die Stadt als Kind in Erinnerung hatte und wie sich alles verändert hat. Während der Tour verriet sie uns kleine Verstecke abseits des Mainstream-Tourismus, die man entdecken kann. Sie war sehr flexibel beim Umgehen von Menschenmaßen und hat auf jede unserer Ansinnen reagiert. Wir können die Tour jedem empfehlen, der die Stadt kennenlernen will, wie sie jetzt ist. Arianna kennt jeden Winkel! We had an excellent 3 hours with Salvatore. We only had one day in Milan so needed an expert to show us the highlights in a short space of time. Salvatore did just that and told us amazing history and stories to bring things to life. He also takes amazing photos! We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. My husband and I had a great experience on our walking tour with Salvatore. He had three rules, if we had a question to ask, if we needed or wanted to stop for something let him know, if there was anything specific we wanted to see let him know. Salvatore had many surprise viewing points throughout the tour that he had carefully curated for funny or historical stories…or both. He took a number of “Instagram worthy pictures” for us, and took us on the oldest tram in the city and the metro. He made sure to explain where we were going, how to use the transit, how much it cost and took the time to explain how we could get back to our hotels with transit or by foot. He even suggested an awesome bar for aperitivo and an additional attraction to see if we walked home. I would highly recommend Salvatore if you are up for an entertaining and educational tour of Milano! Great tour of Milano with Salvatore!

Francesca was an excellent communicator from the start, answering all my messages and requests very promptly. She met me at the exact time and location that I requested. Francesca took me & my 2 teen daughters around town. It was the first full day we were in Italy & it was good to have the tour then so we could ask questions about Italy early on. Francesca knows a lot of history of Italy & kept it interesting & just the right pace. She took us around the outskirts of Duomo, the beautiful historical library, the castle (so beautiful!), a bakery, & lots of other places. You can tell her what you would like to see & she can customize. Great tour
