Welly was truly informative, but not overloading us with information. He was polite, funny, answered our many questions and engaged in conversation. He was able to show us parts of Montmarte that we never would have found on our own. It was our favorite part of our trip and wish we would have booked more tours with him for a true Parisian experience. Perfect

We had a flight cancelation and reached a day late. Nella was very understanding and rearranged the tour. My 10 year old was super tired with only an hour of sleep, yet Nella managed to engage him and showed us plenty in Montamarte to feel accomplished. Highly recommend. Fantastic

We booked our Montmartre tour with Max on a rainy and gloomy winter day. Max was a great sport, led us through hidden alleys and passageways. We stopped to warm up in churches and coffee shop. The area is spectacular and it helped to have a knowledgeable guide to discover gems off the beaten path. Maxime is a history and art buff, and will gladly engage in philosophical and cultural discussions. Book him if these subjects resonate with you too. Nella gave us an artistic tour of Montmatre and it was extremely fascinating. She is very personable and engaging. We had a fun few hours together learning and seeing so much. Welly was excellent. We were on a river cruise and had a day in Paris; we were entirely tired of being herded and shearing the earphones provided so we decided not to do the tours offered by the ship and book privately at the last minute (same day!!) I made a tourist mistake while booking (got the district mixed up) and Welly immediately got into action and recommended an alternative. He was very gracious and even picked us up at our hotel! He arrived promptly and we started our tour going on the subway (cool experience); he showed us how to buy tickets and gave us other tips. Very informative. For the next 3 hours we walked, talked, asked questions, stopped as needed, learned a ton and he’s super helpful, knowledgeable and speaks perfect English! I can’t say enough good things about Welly and our overall experience. Amazing Day in Paris

Although we had communicated in advance that we were going to be late, and called Lucien several times while we were en route, asking him to please wait for us, he did not wait. He made a judgment that there would not be sufficient time for a good tour. We believe it was up to us to decide if a shorter tour was still worth it. We had paid in full for three hours of his time, and we expected at least the remaining hour and a half. We are very disappointed that he did not wait for us. We have requested a partial refund. We spent the afternoon wandering the streets of Montmartre with Nella. We had a fantastic artists view of the history of the suburb, which we really enjoyed and learnt about some of the more hidden aspects as well. We even popped into the local craft brewery which was a treat! It’s not always easy to keep a family of 5 ( kids 17,15,10), but Nella did a great job of chatting to each of us throughout the tour, making sure each of us got something out of it. We had a nice walking tour in an area of Paris that we have not visited before. Anna is knowledgeable and very nice. We were pretty tired and don't have much art knowledge so it might not have been the perfect match up for us on this day. There was a little communication difficulty prior to the tour when Anna asked to reschedule at 8am and then didn't get back to my response until the afternoon. We ended up meeting as originally planned. If you have an art history knowledge this would be an awesome tour for you. Note: We also did not have one drink or snack as advertised in the tour description. Beautiful area

If you truly want to have an authentic Parisian experience- look no further than Giedre! They say that laughter is contagious, but passion can be contagious too. She is so clearly passionate about Paris, its culture, history, beauty… that you can’t help but fall in love with it too! Giedre’s tour was perfectly tailored and we spent more time focusing on areas that mattered more to us (chocolate anyone?), her knowledge was incredible (history of Picasso’s painting), and her local knowledge impressed us at every turn (we want to come back for the annual wine festival.) Having hired many guides and taken many tours in a plethora of countries, I can honestly say that I have never had as much fun as I did with Giedre as our guide. Fall in love with Paris

We had a lovely time touring the area of Montmartre with Anna. The pictures of the pre and post views of the city and the stories of artists in the area were wonderful. The problem with Tweens and Teens is that they are not so much interested in churches and artists (mine in any case) and it is very difficult to keep their attention over a three hour period. I would suggest a shorter tour offering for families in this situation. A small criticism is that I sort of felt 'dropped' at the end. With only a quick recommendation on where to eat - no 'treat with the tour guide' at their recommended place which was part of the itinerary. Having said that, we were able to add a family member a few weeks before our tour with no problem so we really appreciated that. Always better than self guiding. I include all feedback not to be overly critical, but so that people are able to make improved choices based on our experience. Overall an enjoyable experience.Family with Teens

We have never used with locals before and what a great find! Welly was awesome and quickly catered the trip to what we were most interested in. He has a seemingly bottomless wealth of knowledge and an easily recognizable passion for the history and beauty of the city. Anna was a perfect guide for us. She gave a helpful historical overview with extensive detail about Montmartre including specifics on artists who had lived there and the particular history of the battles that proceeded the building of Sacre-Couer church. I am older and had to use a cane but Anna was able to plan our walking to minimize difficulty. She is a relaxed and warm person, a pleasure to be with. We had an absolutely brilliant tour with Anna. We had been to Paris several times but never really spent much time in Montmatre (other than a brief visit to the Sacre Couer). Anna gave us a truly fantastic tour of the area. We learned so much, but were never overwhelmed. We saw a house Van Gogh lived in, a vineyard, restaurants and squares that had appeared in some of the great impressionist paintings and the Sacre Couer itself. Anna was constantly informative but also very patient and engaging. My twins are very into John Wick at the moment and Anna had also seen the most recent movie which is set in Paris - and was able to point them to areas which were used as scenes in the films. Anna was lovely company throughout. We could not have asked for more. Fantastic tour with a perfect guide.
