Piyaporn is a true gem, what a truly unique experience we had of the floating markets, sampling amazing foods and seeing Bangkok from a different angle, on a wonderful boat ride along the canals! It was my daughter’s birthday and Piyaporn organised for us to go to the temple and ‘give merits’ as the Thai people do on their birthdays, and get a special blessing from the monk. She will never forget that experience. THANK YOU Piyaporn for looking after us all so well, we had an incredible time! A truly unique experience!

Myself and my family loved our tour of Khlong Lat Mayom and the canals with Piyaporn. The custard sticky rice and fried bananas included as snacks in the opening of the tour were very yummy, the long boat tour gave an insight into life on the canals, and my parents loved the beautiful flowers at the orchid farm. When we returned to the market Piyaporn was very helpful in food selection, explaining that many locals go to the market to eat bbq so it was a good choice. We found the tour child friendly for a 3 year old, and Piyaporn even treated my son to a delicious ice cream. She is a very knowlegable and friendly host. And Khlong Lat Mayom is worth a trip out of the city centre for delicious authentic food and affordable hand made crafts and souvenirs. A fantastic food and cultural experience

Piyaporn was a wonderful guide on our visit to the weekend floating market. She was very knowledgeable about the food and produce and allowed us to taste many great things at the market, and even helped us pick out our lunch and do a bit of produce shopping at the end of the tour. She also gave us tips on how to come back at a later date to explore more. On our boat tour we visited an artist establishment and an orchid nursery both of which were great to see. Above all, she was very flexible and considerate and we found it well worth it for her to be our guide!Wonderful guide

Piyaporn was such a wonderful guide. She showed us all around a great and untouristy market, took us on a cool longtail boat ride and back for more food at the market. We didn't know what to expect when we met Piyaporn but within seconds we felt relaxed and comfortable. Her knowledge of local foods, local markets and the canals is remarkable and she made the whole morning a lot of fun. She knew the local store owners, and even ensured my 13 year old was enjoying herself. It was almost like being shown around by your favourite aunty she was so welcoming. We were initially a bit reluctant to book this tour as it appeared slightly on the expensive side, however, I'm so glad we did. Piyaporn was a truly excellent guide - very friendly, welcoming and interesting. We tried so many new fruits and snacks from the market that we didn't even have space for lunch! The boat trip itself was lovely, with stops at the orchid farm and village. I honestly cannot recommend booking a tour with Piyaporn highly enough - thank you. Fabulous tour

Piyaporn made this tour so enjoyable, taking us by taxi on a short trip to the nicest, cleanest market ever. We sampled delicious food - especially the fish cakes from some women on a canal boat - and so many other foods we would not have had the courage to try on our own. She also shared personal stories with us which added to the unique experience and made our connection to the Thai people much easier. I cannot recommend this tour and Piyaporn highly enough. We booked this smaller market tour as our son is 3 years old and it is much closer to Bangkok than some of the other bigger ones. It didn't dissapoint and we are so happy that we did. The market itself is vibrant, lively and full of locals. There are endless food options and variety and you have the time to interact with vendors and watch them more closely. The boat ride is magnificent and gives you the sense of been a local yourself as you ride down the canal and see everyday life of Thai families living along the canal. We had lunch on the riverside, giving us enough time to soak up the atmosphere as we watched the boats go by. Piyaporn was a wonderful guide who shared stories and history about the canal and families. She bought us snacks and little bites and helped us to communicate with the vendors. She was so patient with our son and our dietary requirements and a joy to spend time with. We loved this experience and this market!A truly magical, local experience!

We had a fantastic family morning exploring the markets and boating down the river, including a stop off at the Orchid Farm. We tried foods that we wouldn’t have dared to chose without a guide and Piyaporn was great at explaining everything and telling us about life in Bangkok, rather than simply seeing the tourist areas. Very family friendly - our girls at 8 and 10 loved it. Brilliant morning exploring!

Piyaporn took us on the market tour and canal ride. It was a great experience for me and my family (2 adults, 4 kids) and highlight of our time in Bangkok. Piyaporn was great with the children and she had plenty of local knowledge and tips. The rustic market was a more rural experience compared to the ones in the city. We had lunch sitting by the side of the canal which was amazing, and we even got a fish pedicure/spa near the end of the day, which the kids loved! Great day filled with surprises

We loved the tour from Piyaporn. She picked us up close to our hotel and took us to a weekend market at the edge of Bangkok that has a village flair to it with mostly locals and few tourists. A tour with a rowing boat (no motor!) is a truly relaxing experience.The village experience

we enjoyed every minute we spent with Piyaporn.... she is articulate, knowledgeable and flexible... she really tailors every tour to the interests and preferences of her clients. She is fun and friendly and just a delight to be with. I wish we could eat more- there's just a limit to how much one can digest in one day.... nothing Piyaporn can do about that. My boyfriend and I did a floating market tour with Piyaporn and we've had the best time! Our guide was so kind and she gave us a great insight in a local market that used to be a floating market and now has only a few boats left. It was not touristic at all and just the right thing for us to see. The setting was beautiful, especially the little boat tour was very pleasant! It was an awesome experience! Amazing!

The day spent with Piyaporn was absolutely fabulous. Piyaporn has a vast and deep knowledge of the local scene, food and culture of Bangkok. She gladly answered our questions on numerous topics. The boat ride along the market was enjoyable as it was informative. She explained the various local dishes later on as we sat down to a meal at the market and took us round the specialty stores with super bargains. At the end of our tour, she even went out of her way to accompany us to the local weekend market as it was en route back to our hotel. Piyaporn Tour was very enjoyable. She gave us very clear directions where to meet her and had actually researched transport options from our unit to the meeting point. On the way to the markets Piyaporn gave us an over view of their history and what to expect. The tour of the markets was very enjoyable, the boat ride around the markets gave us a very good understanding the importance of such markets to the local communities. These markets are aimed towards the locals more than tourists. Piyaporn gave a very good tour of the markets, explaining the different foods and introducing us to some of the stall owners.
