One of our favourite parts of our trip. Isabelle was friendly and my children and myself immediately felt comfortable with her🙂 She had lots of interesting facts to share about Paris and pointed out things that we would not have otherwise noticed or crossed paths with. The bookstores were a highlight. I wish we had arranged our tour with Isabel at the beginning of our trip to France rather than at the end. We would have loved to return to the flower shops and wandered again past the book stalls along the river. We will just have to come back to Paris!It was great!

Isabel was such an interesting, engaging tour guide, and perfect for our 7- and 10-year-olds. We had arrived on a redeye flight in the morning, dropped our bags off, went to lunch, and then met Isabel for our tour - I was a little hesitate about how our kids would do. It turned out that we had such a lovely tour - a nice, leisurely stroll through the Île de la Cité and the Left Bank. She's a wealth of information, and both our kids and us adults found the tour to be fun and informative. We would take quick detours if there was something brought up that one of us wanted to see, or we would stop occasionally for a treat, or if she took us to a place like the climbing wall on the banks of the Seine, and the kids wanted to burn off some energy. Outside the tour, Isabel herself is fascinating - but she can tell you about that. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone, kids or no kids. Our Kids Loved Isabel

Highly recommend this tour for families! Isabel did a great job keeping the tour interactive and teaching us about Paris’s history. We saw areas of Paris we would not have otherwise explored. Isabel is by far the best guide we had during our week in Paris. She is so very knowledgeable about the history architecture, even filming locations and art of Paris. She is also wonderful at describing these things with children in mind. My son still counts the details that she shared with him. Isabel was a great tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, giving thorough information about the ile de cite and latin quarter as we toured as well as answering several of my husband's questions regarding french revolution. Some of the key items were presented as a scavenger hunt to keep the kids engaged and she was good with them. Our children are 2, 6 and 8 and our only struggle was that there really was no stop that broke up the walking for them. So if taking younger children you may wany to request a slight customization to a brief rest in the park or square. Thanks for a great tour Isabel.Pleasant, informative and interesting

Isabel was lovely. She adjusted the tour to fit our family (we had teens and not little kids) and our needs (we had stumbled across a few things on the tour the day before so she skipped those and showed us other things). She was very knowledgeable but not boring - my teens really liked her! This tour covers such a nice swatch of Paris - with time to stop for a chocolate and coffee! We booked Isabel on our last day. It was really worthwhile. She had a little treasure hunt for our daughter and explained things so that our 8 year old would also understand. Isabel was a charming, delightful and well-informed tour guide who managed to keep the attention of our two ten year old grandchildren. It was so much more valuable and effective to have our own personal tour guide than to be part of a larger walking tour group. Isabel created a special tour of the Latin Quarter focused on Marie Curie and other strong woman of Paris. She did research ahead of time to find special places to help my daughters learn about their favorite scientist. Isabel was kind, friendly and very knowledgeable. My sisters and I had a wonderful time wandering the streets of Ste. Germaine with Isabel. She showed us places we never would have found on our own and gave us a little history about each place, then we took our food to the Luxumbourg gardens for a picnic. We took the Architecture Tour with Isabel. She is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about buildings in general, and specifically the historic ones we visited. She was also flexible enough to modify the tour a bit to get back near enough to where we were staying by a certain time as my husband had to leave a bit early for a meeting. If you are looking for a great personal tour, look no further...Isabelle did a FANTASTIC job going through a slice of Paris. She walked us through a neighborhood and explained how each neighborhood has its own subculture. It was wonderful to get to not be lost in a crowd of other tourists and she was able to make the tour personal. We visited some great places with treats and she taught us how Parisians live their life. We went through a local market, grabed some cheese, went to a bakery and finished up with some wine. She always made sure it was something we'd want to eat. We were open to any new experience and said "Yes" to almost everything though since she brought us to fantastic places. Everything we got was tailored more towards what we wanted since she would ask us a lot more about our taste preferences. We were able to ask many questions and she was able to show how knowledgable she was on the area. Overall, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Isabelle and that she was worth every penny (or equivalent to the Euro). A MEMORABLE Personal Tour Guide

We had a wonderful tour with Isabel. Not only did we get to sample delicious pastries but we were shown parts of the Maris that we would not have found by ourselves. Isabel was a wonderful tour guide to the neighborhood. We met at the specified time of the tour and Isabel had perfectly planned out our schedule. Even when one of the pastry shops happened to be closed, she was cool and had a backup available. We saw not just the sweet shops and patisseries, but also cafes, public parks, and different sights around the neighborhood. We thoroghly enjoyed our food tour with Isabel! Aside from the food, it was nice to learn more about St. Germaine and the neighborhood. She was so knowledgeable and planned a nice tour for us. She took us to a fresh and tasty pastry shop to start, then we stopped at the chocolate shop, then on to a wonderful wine and charcuterie restaurant. We strolled through the neighborhood, picked up some fresh cheese. We walked to Luxenbourg Gardens and had a lovely picnic and learned more about the area, talked about Paris and what to do next. We are so thankful for our experience with Isabel. She was able to show us around some wonderful neighborhoods that we would never have visited on our own. We ventured along an elevated walking/nature path that provided great views. Then we headed through a vibrant local marketplace and stopped off at various shops for some wonderful tastes of Paris. Best of all she included our kids, aged 7 & 8, by giving them a scavenger hunt to do along the way. Isabel was so friendly and knowledgeable about Paris history and culture. My daughter and I had a "portrait session" with Isabel. She is very easy to talk to, keeps the conversation going and the process of making a portrait is not only explained, but you can also easily follow (which in normal conditions wouldnt be the case). In between we talked about all sorts of things and every now and than followed the creation of the portrait with open mouths.... :-) The meeting was very worthwhile and shows how a changing world still can be a pleasurable one1`!
