We met up with Olga on our first night in Amsterdam, after a less than optimal travel day. We were instantly comfortable with Olga and proceeded to take our tour. Olga was friendly, comforting, and knowledgeable, and we would recommend her highly. It was a great beginning to our trip. We enjoyed the drinks and the bites, and the tour in general. My husband and I had a great time with Claudio in the Jordaan! He is friendly and knowledgeable and We really enjoyed talking to him. We hadn’t been to the Jordaan before, so he showed us around and gave us suggestions for things to come back to, like the Monday morning market at North Church and an alternative to Winkel 43 for amazing apple pie. We sat outside of a really cute brown bar in a lovely plaza and had beer and snacks and chatted before resuming our walk. It was our first night in Amsterdam, and talking to Claudio was a perfect way to get oriented. Everyone should visit the Jordaan, and it’s even better with Claudio. We highly recommend this tour! Perfect first evening in Amsterdam

We thoroughly enjoyed our Beer and Bites walking tour with Ente. Met us on time at the appointed meeting place and started with a brief history of Amsterdam. He pointed out unique architectural features and history of buildings as we walked through the Jordaan neighborhood. The two cafes we stopped at where filled with locals and we enjoyed the cheese selection at one and the Bitterballen at the other. Wow, what an incredibly knowledgeable guide Arunabha is. There are no facets about the red light district that he does not know. Arunabha provided a vast amount of information on the history of Amsterdam, Netherlands, vis a vis the invasion by Nazis and many perspectives on the resistance. He was knowledgeable about the role of the Dutch Empire and its impact on Indonesia and other former “colonies”. Thanks for a great tour.Informative tour, amazing.

I had a good time with Olga on my personalized tour and I discovered not only places, but a lot of the history I would have known nothing about otherwise. Olga explained everything well and in an engaging way that I was able to remember and rave to friends about. We had a lovely morning with Olga. Anyone who likes cookies as much as us (and knows the best place to go in Amsterdam to get them) was always going to be a hit! Olga clearly loves Amsterdam and her enthusiasm for the city made it a most enjoyable 3 hours. We had a wonderful time with our local food guide Olga. She brought us to restaurants that serve traditional Dutch food (which was my request) What I liked about the tour is that we were brought to restaurants were locals ate. We had croquettes, stroopwaffels, pancakes, herring fish and a lot more. We even tried a Surinamese-Chinese dish! She not only talked about the food but also tje history that came with it. If you want a way to sample some of the most famous and/or best bites in Amsterdam this is your tour. Our tour guide Elise was lovely and the food we tried was plentiful and delicous. But, this is not a city tour in any way. We walked through one street market and ate at food stalls along the way. Dispte claims on the website, there weas no "highlights of the city" or "walk through Amstrdam's neigborhoods." Nor did we learn anything about Amsterdam's culture or history. Again, what we did was lovely it just was not quite what was advertised. This is a food tasting not a food tour

This walking tour was one of the best decisions I took when I visited Amsterdam. Arun is not just a super knowledgeable tour guide, he is a great and kind human being too. He explained the history, and the present of every area we covered in a way that made us feel like we know his city so well too, a solid base for the rest of the days we spent there. I would recommend you to take this tour on the day of landing in Amsterdam, that would really be an amazing kickstart to your vacation. It really felt like we got a friend for life, in a new city, after spending few hours with him. In a nutshell, I would say, we had gem of a guide and fabulous experience. Must Do When You Are in Amsterdam.

My wife and I are thinking of moving to Amsterdam so our focus was on getting local knowledge on neighbourhoods. Carolina was fantastic on this and she gave us an in depth look on them. Olga is a friendly person with a great deal of knowledge about the city of Amsterdam. She pointed out various features of buildings that we would not have noticed ourselves. We stopped at Van Stapele for a tremendously tasty chocolate cookie. We never would’ve found this place on our own. We had lunch at a local restaurant and then in the afternoon we stopped in at Winkels for a delicious slice of apple pie. She taught me to say lekker which means delicious. We were able to enter the private gardens of several homes. It was amazing to compare the quietness of these gardens with the outside. We walked quite a bit, and Olga was very considerate about how we felt. To summarize., Although I cannot mention everything that we saw Olga made sure that we received a wonderful background as to the City. I recommend her highly for future tours of Amsterdam. A fun experience
