Our guide Miha was the star of the show and the weekend. We (4 of us) walked to the meeting point at Alexandaplatz where we met Miha. He organized the hire bikes from the selection available, and these proved to be more than adequate. We arranged a 4 hour tour of Berlin and this took in all the important sites to see. Miha spoke excellent English and provided an informative narrative, covering the important detail and to the point. We meandered through the old part of the city ever mindful of when the Walls location crossed our paths. Unfortunately Miha had to improvise due to many roads shut off for the Berlin Half Marathon the next day, but having the knowledge to get around this was a distinct advantage because I don't know what we would have done without him. This days tour was so good we booked Miha for East Berlin trip the next day for the same price. East Berlin trip was even more of an eye opener, and the beer on the boat cafe was really pleasant. We headed out along Karl Marx Strasser and swung south to see the longest portion of the Berlin wall still standing together with all the artwork on it, fantastic foto ops here. After this we dropped to the banks of the Spree and out to the marina where we had beer and coffee with Miha constantly narrating the architecture and general culture. On the return leg we stopped off at the Soviet Cemetery where 7500 souls lay at rest, quite sad but an eery reminder of what is happening now. The tours were great. We could not have done this on our own in 2 days and Miha was worth every penny. Weekend Bike Rides Around Berlin

Wij hebben de Berlin Highlights Tour per fiets gedaan onder leiding van Miha. Een perfecte manier om op een ontspannen manier de stad te leren kennen. Ook onze 3 kids (14, 13 en 11 jaar) vonden het leuk en leerzaam. Miha is een fijne, toegankelijke gids die kundig is en meedenkt. Zo hebben wij samen “Kaffee met Kuchen” gegeten/gedronken in een park ter ere van de verjaardag van mijn man. Zeker de moeite om deze tour te boeken! Super fijne tour!

Our bike tour of Berlin with Miha was by far our favorite part of the trip! It was a beautiful day and Miha was awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He showed us all the best sites and gave us all the history behind each landmark. We felt like we were just biking with a friend showing the amazing city he lives in. Miha made my evening by adapting my bike tour last minute. We had a great tour on the more local East side of Berlin. This way I saw parts of Berlin that I wouldnt otherwise seen on my own! the highlight being the Soviet memorial park. Thank you Miha for the great experience!

Wow ... where do I begin? Miha is amazing - quick reply to my request, great follow up to questions and he provided great directions for meeting. My sons and I met Miha at Alexanderplatte and spent the next 3 hours biking through Berlin. I asked Miha to show us Berlin through his eyes - this is his city and we wanted to see the local neighborhoods and attractions. Miha did that and so much more. We road about 13km and saw so very much. He was very knowledgeable and also funny and kind. He has a tremendous spirit and sense of humor. I cannot think how the bike tour could have been any better. Berlin is an amazing vibrant beautiful city- thanks to Miha, we understand and appreciate it even more. We spent a wonderful day cycling around Berlin with a great guide Miha.We found Miha very easy company and he fulfilled our wishes to see as much of Berlin as possible in one day.Our trip started at 11.am. Following a short chat and getting accustomed to our bikes we set off.We felt very comfortable with the pace of the trip stopping off at all the major sites and given a very comprehensive and knowledgeable account at the various locations and en route.He brought us to a quaint coffee shop/cafe for lunch and a Vietnamese Restaurant for dinner. There was no time restraints on Miha and even after dinner he offered to continue with more site seeing but we had already got a great taste for the city and he offered us advice on how to get the most out of our trip the following day. Would certainly recommend this guide.Superb cycling trip around Berlin

Miha was clear, helpful and reassuring in all his communication from booking to post tour. I immediately felt at ease in his warm, attentive manner. His English is excellent, as is his historic knowledge of Berlin and the many landmarks within it. Passionate story telling including facts, alongside personal ancestral experience left me deeply impacted, and curious for more. I felt safe on the cycle pathways and 'quiet' roads (for a Londoner), and followed closely behind Miha, who stopped often to point out the smallest details, and best spots for photographs. I saw Berlin through his eyes. As promised, he tracked the route and sent this over within 24 hours, to include a slide show of my photographs. This was a fascinating and flexible tour with an accommodating guide - the highlight of my long weekend. I have already recommended Miha and 'with locals' to many friends. We cannot say enough good things about Mihai and this tour! Booking was fast and easy, Miha is warm, friendly, flexible, and knowledgeable. We had to adjust on the fly the day of our tour, due to the Velothon bicycle event but that just added to the fun. Being from Boulder, Colorado, USA, we are avid and active cyclists, but this tour is appropriate for all levels and abilities and can be customized to fit anyone! We had a great time biking all about the city and seeing the sights and hearing the history. Miha's tour helped us get the lay of the land and let us better organize our remaining time in Berlin, where there is so much to do and to see. We have just returned from a short break in Berlin. The best thing we did was Miha's bike tour. He is so friendly and a very knowledgeable guide. He took us to so many parts of the city we would have otherwise not seen on foot. Although we covered 18km, the cycling was not difficult and the city is well set up with plenty of cycle lanes. Miha was great, he brought Berlin alive for us. He was very knowledgeable about a city he loves and was really interesting about the city's history and many of its landmarks. We did a WW2 tour with Miha, with a group including our kids (9, 13), and in-laws (70's), and everyone had a great time. We got an amazing introduction and overview to all of Berlin, but the best was the personal stories and getting to know Miha. We spent two hours with Miha as he took us on a walking tour of Berlin and into The Reichstag. Unlike other tour guides we’ve had in the past, Miha stayed with us, listening along to the audio tour and adding additional information and context to what was on the recording.
