Irene is awesome and very patient. I forgot that I made our start time one hour earlier from the time allowed on the with local website. We showed up an hour late, yet Irene was still there. She was a lot of fun and took us to most of the locations I requested. Before our trip I gave her a list of about 40 sights I wanted to see while in Budapest. She went through the sights and listed which ones were included on her tours and which ones would be possible to add to the tours and which ones were too far away. It probably took her an hour, and I hadn't booked a tour yet! If there is a ranking for all the Budapest tour guides, she should be number one. Irene is awesome

It was my third time in Budapest and Irene still showed me things that I didn't see before on my other trips. On our tour we also got great tips for the rest of our trip or even the next visit to Budapest. For example we've tasted plenty of chocolates when the chocolate shop was open. At the end of our tour we've got a nice bonus. We turned our drinks after the tour into an improvised wine tasting. Irene gave us a selection of various Hungarian wines in a nice "ruin" pub. I fell in love with Budapest the minute we stepped off the train and fell deeper in love after our tour. To truly learn about Budapest, you have to start from the beginning and that's exactly how our tour started. And as the 3 plus hours went, my husband and I were wanting to learn more. Irene is very knowledgeable and very personable. The tour seemed more like a walk with an old friend you haven't seen in a while and just she wants to tell you about the place she lives in. Irene has extensive knowledge of the history and hidden spots in Budapest. She also has a personality and delivery that really captures your attention. I learned a lot more about the medieval and roman history of the city and loved hearing about some stories from the past. It gave me a new perspective on this city. We were looking for a bit of knowledge on the area as we were doing a whistle stop tour of Budapest and had never been before- Irene was a perfect guide. Irene is an excellent guide and we had a fantastic time! We only had a few days in Budapest and this was a wonderful way to spend 3 hours in this beautiful city. Irene showed us things we would never have seen, like an amazing chocolate shop and a beautiful park that made me feel like I was back in Paris. We saw the remains of the ancient city wall - bits that are out in the open and pieces even people who live there don’t know about. Irene is a fun and funny person, and great to talk with. Me and my wife met irene in a rainy morning. Irene was great l, very knowledgeable, kind and professional. The tour was amasing. We started at the heros sq. From there we went to a walk in the park and from there to the Szecska Baths. After we went to the jewish qt. After discovering the qt. We went to a great ruin bar with great vibes. From there a walk to the great synagogue and rnded in a hood restaurant. The tour was amaizing with good balance of history, discovering Budapest sites and enjoying the local food. Thanks irene.
