We only had 7 hours - airport to airport, so we didnt have a lot of time. Brendon was very helpful, tailored the tour to the things we wanted to see, got us some great local food, and worked hard to get us back to the airport in the crazy traffic. Firstly Brendon was fantastic, he has so much knowledge and passion for KL. We personalised the tour to see what we wanted and it couldn't have been any better. Being guided around the city with Brendon was the ideal way to start our time in KL and we saw everything we wanted and a couple of hidden gems. The lunch spot Brendon chose was great, delicious local food! I'd definitely recommend doing a tour with Brendon, it was like sightseeing with a old friend. He was very friendly and more than happy to take pictures and let us explore at our own pace. What a great tour!

We had such a great and fun day with Brendon. He drove us around and showed us amazing spots such as Batu Caves and the National Mosque. Aside from that, he gave us a great food tour of KL (from satay to nesi lamak to banana fritters and a Chinese shaved ice desert). Brendon was the best! He brought us to a lot of special places we would have never found if we would walked on our own like the street Art and the hidden book shop. He was very kind for our son who didn't feel well. Very funny, good sense of humor and he told us historical facts without getting bored. We tried new Food at the market and enjoyed it a lot. Spent a very enjoyable time with Brendon today - he knows plenty of hidden gems of KL and takes you to places that you would pass by as tourists. The old cinema, roof top bars, traditional KL food and stories about the old days of Malaysia and KL made the tour very memorable. Brendon met us at the former administrative centre for the British and provided insights for the area which were informative followed by some other interesting highlights mixed with dropping into to various delicious places for trying some local food that Brendon recommended which was also great. He even drove us in his car to sample some great custard tarts! Overall a good day out to soend our final day in KL and Malaysia. Day out in KL

Brendon is confident and friendly. He walked us through the city, showed us many restaurant options and some rooftop bars. He touched on the history of the city but didn’t bore us with too many facts. He was able to answer our questions and shed light on the cultural nuances of KL. We had a great day with him. We enjoyed the tour with Brendon very much. He is a very intelligent, polite, nice and funny guide and he showed us more than I believed was possible. He also waited for us for almost 30 mins because were late, but still spent full 4 hours with us, and even modified the tour on the go due to some rain. In only 4 hours we Brendon we have been - showed historical sites, with interesting intro into British rule and Malaysian independence, including the stories on how present malaysian scyscrapers are still driven by history - walked through streets of China Town and Little India, and explained how prayers in the Chinese temple work - given the taste of pandan (malaysian plant) - offerred to taste real hand made food (incl. paus), new hipster malaysian matcha and local ice cream - showed multiple fantastic photo places, incl. multiple street art sites AND different rooftop view platforms on Petronas - guided by Brendon through mqny interesting streets, and told fascinating stories about Kuala Lumpur and Malaysia - showed where can we buy gifts for our friends - and many more. Brendon also took care of our transportation within KL and even showed us a badminton store (badminton being my hobby). A great tour, a great guide. Marvellous tour with Brendon

The ship deposited us at one of the places they say that they always use. Brendon went to another area and we never met up with him. We spoke and he said he did not know the other area but would find it . All the other With Locals guides appeared and picked up their customers. We waited for an hour and then hired a local guide, paying twice but for now an only 3 hour tour. We hope you refund our full price paid.Never Showed Up

We were staying in Singapore and decided to take a day trip to KL. Brendon was great from start to finish. He recommended what flights to book (flight landed in KLIA at 8am and took off at 9pm… was great amount of time). He picked us up promptly and gave great advice throughout the day. Highly knowledgable and an incredibly funny guy. He really made our time in Kuala Lumpur great fun. He always had a back up plan (which was needed for the changeable weather) and made sure to take us to all the places we desired. Brendon made sure we saw the absolute most of KL in the short amount of time we were there. He was also a great photographer and we got some fantastic family pictures with his help. On a short lay over of one day in KL, we booked Brendon to introduce us to his city. And enjoyed every minute of it! Brendon is full of interesting facts and anecdotes, yet brought in a vibrant and funny way. Brendan met us promptly at our agreed time and we set off on our first visit to KL hoping to hear all about the local history and culture. We were not disappointed and over the 4 hours of our tour Brendan showed us all the must see places interspersing with stories about life in Malaysia and the ways of life including how to navigate the roads (just cross where you can ! ) and what to eat - for Brendan it’s quantity over quality 😂. He adapted the tour to meet our requirements and helped me to navigate the Grab app which is similar to Uber. He showed us some secret locations and where to get the best photos of Petronas Towers.
