Great tour with Yula! She did a great job tailoring the experience to our request, we started from the old mosque in Kotagede, went to a local market and tried lots of local snacks, and went to a silver shop. We had extra time at the end to go to Taman Sari. The highlight was chatting with Yula and learning about life in Yogyakarta.Great walking tour with Yula!

Yula is a lovely tour guide. We enjoyed her company for 6 hours for back to back culture and food tours. She patiently answered all our questions about Java, most of which had nothing to do with food. We visited local sites, rode a tuktuk, stuffed our selves with Indonesian food and had a lively walk down the main street. We recommend!Great experience

I really enjoyed the tour "Javanese Heritage", during which Yula guided me through the ancient Mosque. She was well prepared, kind, patient, open midend, generous and curious. Our family had only few hours to spend in the city and choosing Yula was a wise decision. She accommodated our needs in terms of time and length of the tour. On a hot day we met Muhanif/Andy in front of the Mosque in Kota Gede. He showed us the Mosque and the surounding neighboorhood. With different traditional indonesian style buildings and some kolonial style buildings. We ended with a visit to a Javanese/indonesian traditional museum. Andy was a very nice guide sometimes struggling with some english words but overall good company and enthousiastic. For us it was a beautifull experience to get a look into a not so touristic part of Yogyakarta. We recommend it! Very nice tour with Muhanif

It was a lovely experience exploring Yogyakarta with Yulaikha. Everything seemed to be going wrong on that day, but Yulaikha was very patient and accommodating. First, we had to move our tour timings a couple times and she accommodated that. Then it was raining very heavy and we had shown up without an umbrella, but she modified the tour to minimize being exposed. Coming to the tour itself, I think it was nice seeing the not so popular areas of Yogyakarta and trying out street food items which we would have never known of.Lovely accommodating host!

We asked Yula to take us to off the beaten path sites, fun neighborhoods and local markets. She did all that and more. We had an excellent tour through Yogja city. With the most touristic places; the kraton & taman sari. But we also visited the more hidden places and cute streets (Jalan tikus) of Yogja. We were slightly unsure on whether to book this as a family but it turned out to be one of the best things we did in Jogja. You will not eat the same way without a guided tour. We had trodden Malioboro and the surrounding area a couple of times already but had not even noticed the variety of food on offer. Yula provided a perfect balance of culture, stories and incredible flavours. Do not be worried about options as Yula will customise the offerings to your liking. We highly recommend Didot as reasonable and very professionell guide. He‘s smart, speaks fluent english and knows as much about todays life as about history, geographic and ancient legends of java. We did a one day tour including borobodur, jogja and prambaran. he organised the sightseeing for us, including tickets and transport (he is also a very good and safe driver). everything worked very well: thanks to Didot it has been a perfect day for us. Great experience - highly recommended

My boyfriend and I decided to contract this tour to learn a bit more about Indonesian gastronomy and Yogyakarta. We had never done any food tour, so we didn’t know what to expect, but the reality was way better than anything we could possibly imagine. Yulaikha is the best guide we could have had.
