We had a fabulous morning with Sarah in Venice. When we met, Sarah chatted to us and got a feel for what we would like to see before we set off. Venice was busy because of the Carnivale but Sarah took us to some quieter areas which we loved. We also visited some local craftspeople in their studios and tried the local festival donuts. Romy’s tour was really great! It was a perfect introduction to our 2 days in Venice with our 2 young adult children. She explained the history of Venice and showed us all of the highlights. She even pointed out some of her favorite spots which we revisited on our own. I would highly recommend Romy as a tour guide!!!Romy is great!

We had a wonderful half day tour in Venice with Roko. He is super knowledgeable and interesting, bringing history to life and injecting humor into the many sights and cultural treasures in Venice. We avoided crowds while getting to explore some off-the-beaten path destinations, as well as major monuments, like San Marco. Roko kept us fully entertained with his command of history and his obvious personal appreciation for the art and history throughout the city. He pointed out many small, but interesting details that most tourists, will no doubt, miss. I highly recommend Roko!Roko is the man in Venice!

Valentina agreed to meet us at our hotel and arrived promptly. She gave us an interesting and informed tour of several of the main areas of Venice and indicated other areas we might want to visit during our stay. We are a family group of 7 with 2 adults and 5 children aged 16-20yo. Claudia provided an excellent tour for our group which included a good mix of history and other things interesting to the younger adults. She guided us through the streets which allowed us to explore a large portion of the island, viewing significant sights along the way. I highly recommend this tour and Claudia. My teenage daughter and I loved our time with Sarah. She was super friendly, fun, knowledgable and adaptable to what our interests were. Sarah showed us so many places we would not have found on our own; gorgeous squares, bridges and local artists producing beautiful creations. The tour was so relaxing and I loved not having to consult a map or guidebook and just being able to relax into a place. It was like visiting a friend who shows you the best sites. Riccardo was an excellent guide. He used his diverse background in architecture, history, and photography to steer us away from the crowds to some great spots for a short story or perfect picture. It must be hard to strike the right balance of giving enough information but not too much so it becomes a drag - and Riccardo does this perfectly. My friend and I could not have been happier with the visit. Sarah was knowledgeable, personable and interesting. It was all that a private guided visit could be: she asked us questions, paid excellent attention to our desires and tailored the visit to our wishes. She showed us the “important” must/sees but also amazing views, little known lively and beautiful neighborhoods, introduced us to talented artisans who gave us a private demonstration of their craft and one of the best restaurants we ate at in Venice. This could not have been any better. Do not hesitate to use Elena if you have the opportunity. She is incredibly knowledgeable about her beloved city. Our only regret is that we didn’t find her sooner! She showed us the real day to day life of a Venetian. She was very open to do anything we wanted but for us just going away from the hustle and bustle of San Marco etc was what we wanted. She also went above and beyond later that evening by sending great restaurant recommendations! I’m pretty good at finding out of the way restaurants but I NEVER would have found where she recommended. She also called ahead and made a reservation for us! Our family of 3 had an evening tour of Venice with Sarah. We had great fun ; Sarah was easy going and knowledgable having lived in Venice for decades. After surviving a tour where we were following a distant flag being waved by a distant guide , we loved the fact this tour was just us . We could raise all the issues we were interested in and Sarah tailored our tour so we only saw areas we hadn’t previously visited. She came up with lots of options for us. We went places we never would have thought to go on our own, and, like we requested, we largely avoided the crowds. Sarah gave us lots of useful local tips (restaurants , bars etc) . We only wish we had toured with Sarah earlier in our visit so we could have made more use of the info we have gleaned from her. A great personalised tour with Sarsh

Rocco was wonderful! Our tour with someone else got canceled the night before, and he was more than willing to accommodate us. It was extremely hot. We were a group of nine with five teenagers and my parents. He was so patient and always walked us to shade to go over so many interesting details of Venice.
