“Withlocals” is a great way to see sights from a locals prospective and this is no exception. A wonderful day out, enjoying Lucca and all its offerings. A morning coffee in a quaint little cafe to get us started, and then a relaxing ride around the wall and then into the city, finishing with a tasty lunch. Throughout the day Valentina kept me up with the local history and was very knowledgeable. A ride to suit all and highly recommended. Thank you for the day Valentina. Biking in Lucca

We came to Florence with our elderly mother in her wheelchair. Valentina advised us in advance about buying tickets for Uffizi, Accademia etc, and then whisked us past the queues. She gave us a brilliant and fascinating commentary on the treasures inside. We really learnt some history! She’s really kind and good fun. We really enjoyed it. Valentina is a fantastic guide! She shared with us the city highlights and some of her favourite paintings at the Uffizi. Travelling in a group of 5, with three teenagers, private guides bring to life the sites and ameliorate overwhelm and boredom. Our boys enjoyed the historical and cultural elements of our trip so much more through Valentina’s lens. Thank you for making our trip to Florence a memorable one. Worth every penny!

Valentina listened to our request and curated an excellent tour for us. She is knowledgable, funny and able to tell the stories of Florence, its origins, and the history surrounding her beautiful city. We had a wonderful time touring Florence with Valentina. This was our first trip to Florence and we wanted an overview of the city and it's history. Valentina was thorough, knowledgable and fun to walk through the city with. She grew up in Florence and was able to answer all of our questions ranging from restaurants, sites to visit, history of the Medicis/prominent families and even shopping. We are a family with two teenagers and Valentina performed for us a wonderful 3 hours tour in Florence with the perfect blend of history, arts, local customs and funny /curious stories. It was so nice that the time run by very quickly … even for my teens. By the way, they were disappointed when they realized that the 3 hours walk (under a hot summer temperature) were over 🤗 Strongly recommended! Top of the art: Valentina’s performance was in French. However she also speaks very good English and, obviously, Italian!Perfect tour !!!

Valentina is an erudite and charming young lady who is a fountain of local knowledge and accepted all my own foibles without batting an eye 😊. I was introduced to many of the hidden an interesting secrets of a truly ancient, historical and fascinating city. Yesterday an Englishman today a budding Florentine🤣🥴😆 SALVA LA TERRA, per favore! È l'unico pianeta che ha il vino🍷 🍷 🤔 🍷 Valentina also happily took photos for me and introduced me to local restaurants that cooked genuine Florentine food in great atmosphere with intoxicating wine ( well it would be wouldn’t it🤣) and local prices too. After a bit to back and forth due to our last minute lack of planning and the altered openings of various sites due to Covid-19, we were quite please with Valentina’s patience and flexibility. Those traits were shown again when our tour happened to be in the same area as a parade and day of celebration. But she didn’t skip a beat and explained what was happening and why, giving us plenty of time to watch before continuing our tour. Valentina customised the tour to our requests perfectly and shared all the small things that we would have never known otherwise. She was a delight to walk with and you could really tell how much she loved talking about the history and sights of her city. Valentina was right there to meet our party of four, and after introductions we were off! What I enjoyed is her knowledge of the the players that played upon the stage of what is now modern day Florence. From the beginning as tribes fought for dominance through the Middle Ages and into the Renaissance, she was able to take the history and imagine it in the squares, narrow alleyways, churches and humble neighborhoods and grand homes that we we surrounded by. I would recommend Valentina to anyone who wants to learn more about the history of Florence; who and what shaped this fascinating city we see today.A walk Through Time and then some

Our tour of Florence’s Seacrets, Signs & Symbols with Valentina was wonderful. This was not your typical Florence tour but we learned so much. I was on the tour with my husband and two teenage sons, and we all thoroughly enjoyed. My boys we’re engaged, start to end, and my husband and I learned some very interesting things that even our prior tours in the past had not touched upon.
