This was our first Walking Tour of a city and we could not have asked for a better experience. The experience started much before our actual tour. Even before we reached Athens I was in touch with Voula and she helped with wonderful inputs to plan our holiday better. She was quick to respond to any query. Our actual tour was awesome and we saw Athens the way we wanted to. She gave us wonderful insights of the city which we would never have found out otherwise. I must also add that she was also flexible with the tour itinerary and because my wife wanted to experience other things in Athens she was quick to adjust her scheduled plan to accommodate my wife’s requests. Makram was a fabulous host. We had 3 adults and 3 children aged between 9-12, and we all had a wonderful time with Makram. He was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions. He was extremely patient with the kids and let them take as many breaks as they wanted, yet still managing to complete the tour. He showed us a hidden gem which we loved….a surprise for the kids especially. He was patient and kind and always put our needs first. I would definitely recommend Makram and hope to book again with him, next time I come to Athens.Amazing!

Wir hätten Athen nicht wirklich kennengelernt, hätten wir nicht diesen Rundgang mit Vasiliki gemacht. Nach einem Tag auf der Akropolis und einem Tag in der Plaka/ Agora, hielten wir uns schon für Athen-Kenner und hatten ehrlicherweise keine großen Erwartungen mehr, noch Wesentliches, noch großartig Neues von Vasiliki zu erfahren. Und dann folgte eine Überraschung auf die nächste: Wir speisten wie die Olympiasieger, ein Hund wurde für uns zum Helden von Athen und Graffiti zum politischen Newspaper - daneben erschien die berühmte Wachablösung fast schon trivial. Unser persönliches Highlight war ... so viel sei verraten: unglaublich bunt und süß, ein Kook nicht von dieser Welt. Tausend Dank aus Heidelberg, Vasiliki, dass wir Athen mit dir erleben durften. We loved having Ariadni show us around town. Our group was diverse (3 retired folks and 2 mid-20s women; meat eaters, a vegetarian and a vegan) and Ariadni managed to find something for everyone. Loved all her special spots and hidden secrets. She also answered our questions about all things Greek. Our only regret was taking this tour on our last day. It would have been fun to go back to some of the places that she introduced us to. Take this tour first thing!

Eva is an archeologist by profession so her knowledge is second to none, but more importantly she really is interested in ensuring we got a great overall experience. We booked a private tour with Vasiliki to get a first impression of Athens, its people, culture, and history. Vasiliki made it a very personal tour, sharing with us her personality and experiences. On our request, we did not visit the typical historic sites - you can do that with other tours or on your own. Vasiliki led us through the small streets of Monastiraki and Psirri, we saw some remarkable street art, hidden restaurants, little shops with local delicacies, the local market, and got a lot of information around all that. We also tasted some of the wood with a glass of wine, and heard even more stories from Vasiliki. Really well done and happy to do it again. Btw, we had the tour in German which she speaks very well.A personal Athens experience to recommend

We verbleven als gezin met drie grote tieners maar anderhalve dag in Athene. Buiten het obligate bezoek aan de Acropolis wouden we dan ook een shortcut naar de bezienswaardigheden en authentieke sfeer van de stad. Ariadni voelde perfect aan wat we wouden: een ontspannende wandeling met leuke weetjes en verdoken plekjes die we nooit zelf hadden ontdekt. Wir waren mit Vasiliki morgens ab 9 Uhr unterwegs. Das waren die angenehmsten 3 Stunden in Athen.Vasiliki ist nicht nur sehr nett, spricht hervorragend deutsch, nein sie ist auch absolut kompetent. Wir konnten im morgendlichen Athen untertauchen und einfach die Zeit genießen. Wir sind übers Athens zentralen Markt geschlendert, haben Mokka getrunken und Oliven verkostet. Dazu haben wir die verschiedensten Stadtviertel erwandert und sehr viel über die Vergangenheit und das aktuelle Leben erfahren. Besonders toll war, dass wir auch noch zig Empfehlungen für Restaurants und Clubs bekommen haben. Dabei waren auch Orte, die wir nie gefunden und auch nie ausprobiert hätten, die sich aber als Volltreffer erwiesen. Auch für weitere Unternehmungen hat uns Vasiliki Kontakte verschafft. Das war die perfekte Stadtführung. Vielen Dank Vasiliki.Athen in der morgentliche Ruhe
